We purchased our 2021 Jayco White Hawk 26rk from Richardson's RV in Menifee California in March of 2022. We absolutely love the layout, design, and look of the trailer. We purchased Jayco because of their reputation. Since our purchase, we have had the heater repaired once by Richardson's who then sold their company to Camping World. We then had the heater repaired again by an outside service who had to replace the blower. We had the refrigerator fail on one trip and have had it repaired. The awning light switch on the lighting control panel doesn't work, but the lights will work on the Jayco app. Just a few days ago, March 17, 2024, we hooked up to go on a trip and the tow module in our truck gave us an SC! message meaning a short circuit. We did not want to drive the trailer anywhere without breaks so we called 911 RV Service in Temecula, CA. They arrived and diagnosed the problem. When they looked at the brake wires underneath, they discovered that only the rear tires on each side have brakes. They assumed all tires should have brakes and wondered if this was an error during assembly, or there never were brakes on the other tires. No wires or brakes apparent on the front axle. The passenger side brake wires were severed and some were missing. They also discovered that the four bolts holding the brakes in place and onto the axle were missing. Upon removing the tire and wheel hub, the bolts that were supposed to be holding everything in the hub to the axle were found loose and rolling around in the hub. It appears that the tire could have easily come off during travel and that the axle has been damaged by the bolts and needs to be replaced. Apparently one bold eventually lodged freezing the brake assembly and caused the wires for the brakes to be torn away. We are very lucky that the tire didn't seize up or come away from the trailer during travel. This appears to either be a defective axle where it attaches to the wheel housing, or seeing as the trailer was built during Covid, someone failed to tighten the bolts in place while assembling the wheel housing and brakes. We are lucky there wasn't an accident and we discovered this before leaving on our next trip. The axle, wheel housing, and brake must be replaced due to the damage and I can provide pictures for you. We really love our Jayco trailer, but we are concerned with this quality issue. It could have been a tragedy at some point. I hope that you advise other customers of this problem or possible problem, so that they may have their trailers looked at and/or serviced to avoid an eventual very expensive repair, or accident.

1. Underbelly cover has fallen off twice. The second time it happened, after being “repaired” by Camping World of Albuquerque, it departed the RV on I-10 outside of Tucson. Luckily no vehicle was struck by it. Jayco contracted MesaRV to do a mobile repair at the campsite we limped into. 2. Rear axel had to be replaced when I noticed unusual tire wear. After axel and tires were replaced by local companies no issues. 3. Toilet would not flush. Clogged by what looked like sawdust. Unclogged and now works fine. 4. Leak under kitchen sink. Replaced a fitting and works fine. 5. Leak under shower. Tightened fitting no issues since. 6. Oven is very difficult to light, but once it is lit it works fine. 7. Fridge quit working. No CB tripped. Replaced in-line fuse that is accessed from the outdoor panel behind the fridge, Recommend having some on hand in case this happens to your unit. 8. Innoflame Furnace Model RV26D80L-1, heater quit working. Discovered the connector had somehow arced and melted where the power wire and female connector are crimped. This also melted a portion of the male connector on the heater unit. Whole furnace will have to be replaced and it is not possible to purchase the same model. There does not appear to be any replacement with the exact cutout dimensions. 9. JaySmart lights didn’t work properly as per the owners manual. CW of ABQ tech said he called Jayco and talked to them and they said it was working correctly. No so. I had called Jayco and explained this issue and they said the owners manual is correct and that I did, in fact, have an issue that needed to be corrected. Again went to CW of ABQ and got into a discussion with the service manager and tech and told them what Jayco had said. Tech said that wasn’t correct. I asked for a new tech and got someone who knew what to do. New tech got it fixed and it has worked per the owners manual since. I really don’t have a lot of confidence in CW of ABQ and don’t think I would buy anything from them let alone take my RV back. Actually I haven’t taken it back to them. Also, I don’t think I would buy another Jayco due to all the issues. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever buy another RV for that matter. I’ll just hold on to this one and do the repairs myself. I think the RV industry, as a whole, needs to do a lot better job with quality and service. This is my first RV and if they want customers who will continue to support this industry then they must do a much better job than what they are presently.

Stay away from Jayco. Purchased a new 2023 White Hawk in May 2023 and before dealership delivered it the unit already had a broken outdoor kitchen door. Then within a week it had major sewage sensor issues, weather stripping around main bedroom window was falling off, wood trim around electric fireplace fell on its own, there were staples sticking out of several walls inside the unit, and more. Dealership service department was useless and gave the run around and Jayco customer service was even worse. They kept passing the buck on each other. No one wanted to deal with any of the problems properly. Jayco wanted the unit taken back to dealership to diagnose properly even though the dealership sold the unit to me based on the agreement their "field team" would come out and service it on location as I was a widow with two young children and this was our temporary home until I found a permanent home to live in. Jayco was made aware of this yet they did not care. They said they can't make dealerships do anything even though it is their brand. It got to the point that I was so fed up I lost almost $20, 000 to return the unit to the dealership after only having it for 3 weeks.......who I may say was horrible to deal with after they got their sale as Jayco was when I addressed all the issues and problem I was having with the dealership service department. The dealership took total advantage of my situation and saw dollar signs in their eyes...disgusting money hungry people...can't mention the name of the dealership yet because they made me sign a paper saying I wouldn't post negative reviews about them....they obviously know what they did was so wrong and I do not know how they sleep at night knowing they are scamming people. Please just do your research about Jayco and particularly about RV dealerships in the Grimsby/Smithville area.

The water flowed in the trailer and ruined the walls, mattress, mattress topper, sheets, etc. I brought my trailer to the dealer on June 20. 2 month later jt is still not fixed. The dealer says Jayco has a new Warranty Company and they are slow at processing claims. I have called Jayco and can not even speak to the rep in my area handling my claim to find out when I can expect my trailer to be completed. This is completely unacceptable after spending $50K for this trailer. I have missed the 4th of July now Labor Day is a week away and another holiday weekend lost. DO NOT BUY a JAYCO unless you you RV sitting in a repair shop for months.

I bought my travel trailer in January of 2015 it was sold as used but the previous owners did one trip and traded it in for a RV. This has been a awesome trailer for a smaller trailer. Because of the Murphy bed we have a full bath all the way across the back of the trailer. At the time my mom was in her 90's and still loved to camp and she could get all around the camper and in the bathroom with her walker. It has a slide out dining area. I was very surprised at some of the bad reviews. My camper has been about a third of USA and we have had very little issues and most of them are this year. My only complaint and it may not be the company but where we bought it as the warranty should have been carried over as the other people had it only for 1 trip. I was told I had to buy a warranty for 2500.00 which I really never used.

The only issue we’ve had are the plastic fenders crack at the screw holes and we lost one fender going down the road. I replaced it and used padded washers and sealed the edge for extra strength and haven’t had that issue again. All the systems have been flawless with no issues.

Purchased our White Hawk brand new from Camping World. Took it out on one trip. Compiled a list of 25 items from our first and only trip with it. Dropped it off at Camping World with the following warranty issues; Molding falling off the walls, refridge trim broken and put back on with ducktape from the dealer. Jack broken, and replaced by camping world, with the replaced jack, the fuse blew out 9 times under load. Bathroom Sink had cracks in it. Front windows flap as you drive down the road. Outdoor fridge installed with no safety straps. Door hinges broke and would not close. The toilet paper holder fell out of the wall on the first voyage. No fire extinguisher strap, Our rig was dropped off in June of 2022. We are in January of 2023 and the trailer still has not been completely fixed. It has become laughable. Camping World lacks communication, won't call you back no matter how many messages left. They Blame it all on Jayco and Jaycos slow response. Had to call corporate Camping World who actually started a fire under the local Camping World. I have been disappointed with this rig and Jayco workmanship from the minute I picked it up. I will never purchase another product from Jayco.

The core construction of this trailer seems to be strong and well done. The finish workmanship is abysmal. We couldn't even bring our trailer home after signing papers because the hitch was so poorly constructed or damaged, the dealer had to cut it off and weld on a new hitch. Door handles, refrigerator, doors, etc are installed crooked, the shower isn't sealed so it will leak and create damage, trim is miscut, magnents don't match up with outside storage doors to keep them open, bathroom door track is installed crooked so it hits and scrapes as it is opened and closed. The handle of the gray water dump was broken. The clock was hung crooked and doesn't even work. Dealership was not easy to work with to get these repairs recognized or to get them to work with Jayco to fix. We spent as much as a new vehicle for this trailer and for Jayco to release their trailers out for customers with these kinds of issues is disturbing. I would attach photos but this review won't allow it.

I can't believe that we are the only one with this issue. This camper is equipped with what I will call wing windows on the front sides of the trailer. These windows do not stay closed when you are driving down the road. Our local dealer supposedly reached out to Jayco and they came up with that the windows panes were too large. So they sent the dealer two new ones made 1/4" smaller. These windows are 2 or more feet tall and a foot or so wide. Did they really think that was going to stop the flexing/opening as you were hauling down the road! Well it didn't. Another stop gap thing they tried was to put weather stripping around the window - REALLY! I love the layout of this camper and supposedly Jayco will stand behind their product when we develop further issues with the windows. But why should we have to wait - we will probably send it down the road before that ever happens.
