I highly recommend this RV as traveled the road with it for seven months, moved out of my house and into the RV for another three years. The RV did everything I needed and more! No slides on the RV to break, you just hook up and go! It’s the perfect length, getting into all of the RV parks with no reservation. And the amount of beds you get, is a killer deal!

We love the livability of our Jayco Swift 20T but since we purchased it in September 2021 new it has been in the shop twice and is headed there again. The UConnect unit, which provides the backup camera and blind site monitoring plus radio, etc., has gone out three times. Jayco wants us to take it back to Dodge to fix. Dodge says it is a Jayco problem and our dealer has been unable to fix it so it stays fixed. We also had to replace the entire heating/hot water Truma system in April. I think Jayco has failed on this unit. We are so disappointed because we have had to cancel two planned trips due to these issues. It is not safe to drive at this point.

I had the pleasure of owning this camper for just under 2 years. In the time, we used it about 30 times. This was my first time owning an RV, so I didn't know what to expect. We selected this particular camper because 1) Jayco had one of the best reputations for quality and 2) it had enough room for our family of four and 3) it could be towed by our Toyota Highlander. We were the 2nd owner of it when we purchased it in 2020 and since then we haven't had to do much to it except the usual maintenance and replace a few things that were my fault. Compared to what I read about other campers this one had been a great considering its age. The set up inside is great. It has bunk beds which my kids love and the table area folds down to a double bed for my wife and I. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for your trip and its also nice it has a full bath. As for towing, it was a breeze. We added a weight distribution hitch system and installed a brake control for adding safety. It was always a joy pulling this camper all around Texas visiting state parks.

This was My first trailer and I absolutely loved it until I discovered it always had a bent axel. When I first bought the trailer I Noticed a slight slight lag in the back tire. (2 axel, 4 tires) I asked the salesman on a later date and he said it was normal. I also asked a life long RV’er and he said it looks fine. Well 4 seasons later (summer only) the wheel almost fell off. Luckily it snapped when I was almost home. A friend of mine who builds and services semi trailers was there to help. The tire fell off when we jacked it up. The brake and bearing were completely incinerated. Judging by his diagnosis he believes the axel was bent from the manufacturer. Wear marks told the story. He believes the spindle was not welded straight on the drive. Thankfully no one was hurt. From now on i’ll stick with my gut feeling and pay more attention. Apparently this is not an isolated incident. I just hope my $$ bill isn’t too big.

I purchased this trailer brand new as to avoid any breakdown issues. On the 4th year of owning this trailer I went out to get it ready for camping and found out the floor had a soft spot in it. When I took it to my Jayco dealership they said the whole floor needed to be replaced at a cost of 14,000 and the trailer new was 19,000..There was never any sign of leaking under the trailer or on the floor most likely due to the vinyl flooring on top and the waterproof stuff used underneath. Whatever was going on the OSB plywood just kept soaking up the water till I found a soft spot. I had extra insurance but they would not cover it since they said it was caused from continuous leaking and most likely a manufacturer defect. I went back to the dealership on Vancouver Island to see if they would talk to Jayco but after a year of getting the run around from them they finally said they were getting nowhere with Jayco and could not do any goodwill either.. All I can say is if there trailers new only last 4 years they are absolute junk. When I ripped up the flooring to redo it the joists in the corners were mush and so was the OSB in certain spots. I would not recommend any Jayco trailers period.

I own a 2013 33 foot RLDS. What ever could be crooked on this trailer is. Valances are all crooked around the windows. Caulking is squished out around all of the trim. The ladder is even mounted crooked. I spent 2 hours on my back underneath the thing just tying up wires and hoses that were just strung over whatever was there and left to chafe on whatever sharp edge there was. Cheap materials used in everything. The pump for the water was left hanging against the wall under the sink to vibrate the entire wall when it runs. No pipe holes were filled so that mice get in the trailer. No thought whatsoever was put into where to locate switches and plugs. Every single plug in the entire trailer is on one breaker. Bolts in the slides stick down far enough to chafe on the side of the trailer. Plumbing is not secured so it won't break. Wires run around the battery were just tied in a ball instead of being tied up properly to look right. The frame is barely painted, so needed to be undercoated to keep it from rusting. The drains for the tanks are so flimsy that they are breaking off. The sides are tied with flimsy metal strips that are crooked. How can a manufacturer turn out such garbage? Do you not take any pride whatsoever in your product? Does anyone even work in quality control? Do the people working in the factory even own measuring tapes? You throw together a bunch of shoddy work and then charge big money for it. Shame on you
