After purchasing a 2022 Grand Design Transcend Xplor, we decided to upgrade and downsize to the Jayco Jayfeather 19MRK, which is odd because the Jayco cost about the same as the Grand Design. The GD was built during the middle of the Covid pandemic, so it’s clearly a Covid Coach and it shows. The Jayfeather was purchased November 2024 and we’ve taken a few trips and have had (knock on wood) NO issues with it. It’s a small trailer with a Murphy bed but perfect for weekend/short trips, even with one large and one small dog. I upgraded the suspension with the Morryde 3000 CRE with greasable shackles and it makes a nice improvement towing with my 2024 Ford F150 Powerboost. The floor plan is smaller when the bed is down but once it’s up, there’s seating for 2-3 more people and we’ve had up to 8 people in it with no issues. An all around decent weekender once you upgrade the mattress (make sure to get a hinged bed). Factory Warranty/Support receives a five star rating only because it’s 2 years. I think ALL manufacturers should offer 2 years.

We owned both Type A and Type C motor homes prior to owning the JAYCO Jayfeather 25RB travel trailer, and we can say that our experience with the Jayfeather was much better by far. For us the affordability and the cost / benefit comparison favored the travel trailer by far; and this cost effectiveness, extends to maintenance and insurance costs, making it the more budget-friendly option for us. We feel the Jayfeather floorplan was much more practical and comfortable than we had with our prior motor homes. The kitchen configuration and the bench-style seating in the dining area was both efficient for meal preparation and dining. We also like the versatility of being able to unhitch the trailer and travel around town without being concerned about access and parking, making shopping and sightseeing more convenient.

BUYER BEWARE! Jayco customer care is non-existent. Purchased 2022 264BH Jay Flight SLX new and one month after my 2-year warranty expired noticed front wall was soft. Took unit to I-70 RV Center (Jayco Dealer) where purchased and staff there could not figure out where water was getting in. Warranty claim was submitted as all parties agreed that water had been getting in undetected well before the warranty had expired. Also, since this appeared to be a possible structural issue there was potential for this to be covered under the 3-year structural warranty. Dealer offered estimate of $4300 to tear down unit to figure out where water was getting in as part of the claim process. Warranty DECLINED and after escalating to further make case of defective manufacturing issue again case was declined with not offer of resolution. All seams were looked at by myself and technical staff at dealer and no issue was found, however after sending requested photos to claim agent they picked apart photos and indicated the seals should have been all redone every 6 months per owner’s manual. Jayco stance is that regardless if the seals show no voids, cracking or separation I am to re-caulk the entire unit every 6 months. I took good care and inspected unit regularly, parked under canopy most of the time and saw no evidence requiring redoing any seals. Also, the large Jayco front decal peeled off the first year we had the unit. It is apparent that Jayco uses inferior construction products to cheapen the build and then hides behind clauses carefully crafted in their manual to get out of standing behind their product. Do not waste your hard-earned dollars on an inferior product. Research whom owns Jayco as issues maybe wide spread with sister companies.

I purchased the RV because we liked the floorplan and it had lots of room to bring our entire family. I thought Jayco was known to be a quality manufacturer, but unfortunately this was not the case. The first issue I had was the awning started to pull away from the trailer on the one end. We found there was a recall for such a problem so brought the trailer in to be looked at. Jayco denied the claim and said they would not fix or replace the awaning. At this point the trailer was under 1 year old and was only used twice. We never leave the awning out when not at out site and immediately bring it in if it gets windy. Yet the manufacturer still claimed it was not their issue. The next MAJOR issue we just recently found was a bubble on the roof. Upon inspection there is also musy spots near the bubble which means there is moisture getting under the roofing material. Again, we brought the trailer in and Jayco denied to warranty the work. I would never recommend purchasing a Jayco trailer and wish I had went with Grand Design like we were originally looking at.

I highly recommend this RV as traveled the road with it for seven months, moved out of my house and into the RV for another three years. The RV did everything I needed and more! No slides on the RV to break, you just hook up and go! It’s the perfect length, getting into all of the RV parks with no reservation. And the amount of beds you get, is a killer deal!

It's been a great travel trailer for two. pulls nicely with a 1500 truck. Loads of great storag. Jayco has been good with some warranty items and not so good on others, especially the roof. I bought a Jayco with the notion of the best roof warranty in the business so you would think it's well connected. There is many areas where the TPO roof is not glues down, much debris and staples in the verge of poking through. Jayco would not honor the poor workmanship. Thay say it's will only be warranty if deffecive. Well that means a leak, but the warranty does not honor water leaks. So they will do a new roof but your on the hook to have all the water damage repaired from the faulty roof.... Head scratcher.

It took 7 months and numerous phone calls to both the dealer and Jayco to get it fixed, causing me to lose the entire 1st camping year. The next spring, I towed the trailer 15 miles to a weigh station, and the dining table seats began to disassemble itself (many screws fell out). The quality control at Jayco and the dealer is awful, and the service is worse. I would suggest that a person should not buy an RV unless you can afford to lose the total investment.
