A wonderful coach, with a well thought out floorplan. Easily sleeps a family of 5 without having to constantly convert dinettes or couches, which we love.! The bath and a half is super convenient. One of the largest showers we have ever seen in any RV. Our rig drives excellent down the road, seats are very comfortable. Full size residential fridge ensures we always have space for food on our trips. Only negatives, pantry space is limited so you have to be creative. More noisy in the cockpit area than expected when driving due to road vibrations. Seems like dash area could have been refined more to lessen all of squeaks and rattles. Outside of those issues, build quality is very good. Fiberglass roof and Azdel wall panels is what sold me on the coach. So far this unit has meet all of our needs and I would recommend to anyone.

Where do I start..... My family and i upgraded to this model from a travel trailer. We wanted easier setup and the ability to have the entire family together as we traveled. This coach was essentially new (prior owner did 3k miles and turned it in) and came with the factory warranty. We are in year 5 now and i have replaced the following due to failure:
3 AC's
Refrigerator
Water Heater
Water pump
Bunk motors
P-trap in the shower
Shower mixer
Bathroom fan
All batteries three times
All of the "Leather" seat coverings
I also replaced the radio head unit and the speakers because they were of such poor quality.
In addition to things just breaking, the coach is riddled with things that have to be tweaked in order to get them to work. The bunk slide down has to be reprogrammed every time you use it. The dealer replaced the motors and the computer twice and it still doesn't work correctly so I gave up. The bedroom slide has to go out half way, then back in, and then back out in order to get it where it needs to be. The surface of the seats literally disintegrated within two years. Coachman said they were defective and their solution was to sell us the new fabric at cost since we were out of warranty. The heater is completely pointless as it blows 95% of the hot air out of the one vent in the bedroom. It becomes an oven in 5 minutes and the rest of the coach is freezing. The Gelcoat on both sides completely oxidized after just three years. Yes it was parked outside in the sun but it should last longer than that. There are other nuances but you get the idea.
The biggest issue i have is the drive-ability. I get i'm driving a box truck with a house on top down the highway, but this is bad. It shakes, rattles, vibrates, and get pushed all over the place by any vehicle bigger than a truck. Its incredibly loud due to the engine so having normal conversation isn't pleasant. I added Sumo Shocks, new tires, stabilizer bar, trac bar, and sound deadening mats all of which helped but nothing eliminated the excessive shaking at highway speeds. If i put a cup in the cupholder it would bounce every ounce of liquid out and then throw the cup at you. It's that bad.
With all that said, i'm a contractor and a very mechanical person so i am able to do most upgrades and repairs myself so the financial hit hasn't been as bad. The floorplan is really good for my family and now that everything has been upgraded or replaced, once its parked it does a decent job.
We are currently looking to upgrade to a diesel pusher and i wont even consider a Coachman product or any made by their family of brands. Maybe i got a lemon or maybe they are all that way. Buy at your own risk.

This RV was an awesome unit for a family of five kids. We travel all over the east coast with no regrets. Coachmen when we had issues quickly responded and directed me in the right direction or solved the problem with me. My two favorite things about this unit were when traveling if I wanted a cup of coffee or even something hot to eat we could make it while going down the road. The other advantage with kids' bathroom stops drives me crazy. This unit never had to stop.

The Coachmen Mirada 35BH is an incredible motorhome. The livability was great for my family of 5, and the slideouts really open up for plenty of space and comfort. We love the full sized shower, full sized fridge, and tons of storage. Our nightly glamping consisted of playing games under the automatic awning while watching a movie or two on the outdoor TV. Prior to my retirement from the Army, I lived in my RV at Fort Hood, TX for a few months and really enjoyed my time there. Our major trips included Texas to Montana, and Texas to New Mexico. The Montana trip was a summer trip, and the view of the mountains,
Yellowstone, and the beauty of Montana from the panoramic windshield were stunning. No issues at all driving the mountains, winding and narrow roads, or steep grades. The New Mexico trip was between Christmas and New Years, and the RV handled the snow covered roads like a champ. You can feel the winds and large trucks zip by, but take your time and remember that when you're RVing, you're vacationing! Your family will love their ability to grab a drink from the fridge, pop some popcorn, and use the restroom while you're traveling down the road. A lesson I learned on the Montana trip was to never drive more than 8 hours so that you can get out from behind the wheel and enjoy the company! We were able to make one tailgate weekend at Texas A&M, but between my schedule and the difficulty of getting an RV spot on a gameday weekend we will have to wait until the next season to try again. We love our Mirada, and now that all the kids are gone we're ready to trade the 9 beds for a single bedroom, a larger living room area, and a toy hauler for a couple of bikes.
