Purchased solely on the floor plan layout. At only 33ft it has everything we need and nothing we don't. The new Ford chassis & engine are a huge improvement. Although I didn't have to use the warranty much, the support line folks are very good and responsive. Show less

Yes, Jayco is priced cheaper than other RVs and there’s a reason for it. POOR QUALITY! Two years ago I bought a new 2021 Jayco Alante 29F. Problems fro day one! And repeat problems that even the dealer had troubles fixing. The quality of construction and materials is terrible. I recommend if you’re considering a Jayco product, spend a bit more money and get out of the bottom class of RVs, which definitely includes Jayco. Show less

Check out my first review. Update to my first review done on April 16, 2022. Now it is 2023 and new problems and same old camper. Found that the roof started leaking due to the solar panel was not sealed on one side from the factory causing roof to rot out. Had roof inspections each time when maintenance was performed by dealership and they did not even catch it. Called the factory but they would not return my calls so ask the dealership to help with this. No luck, the dealership wanted to give me a couple of hundred dollars off the price to fix a rotten roof but I declined cause they did not catch it in their inspections and the factory was at fault for poor workmanship and the factory said I should have caught it myself so I am responsible for paying. Stay away from Forest River. I am stuck with this junk and will not dare give it to someone else cause it would not be right. Show less

Jayco is hands down the best brand. My Redhawk 31F did great powering through the mountains to Yellowstone even pulling our minivan. I love how many people it can hold, upto 10 people, which is great for 2 families. Show less

Tons of features. Love the ease of driving and setup. Quality materials. Easy clean. The bathroom is well designed for two people to use it at once. The large shower is separate from the sink and commode. Show less

Bought it last summer and only had it out twice last year. Went to de winterize and crack filter, leaking pipe, hot water tank shot (it never worked in from the start), door issue from the start, steps stopped working, and now almost 4 months of fighting with warranty and inept people at Camping World and NOTHING is fixed, but they still take my money every month…disgusted with the lack of quality control! This is the best driving RV we've ever owned (8 previous) - very comfortable ride. The interior is easy to maneuver around with nice fixtures and appliances and many lights available for different sitting areas. The bathroom is a little small, but this is normal in many Class C's. The large HDTV is definitely a PLUS and is much appreciated when there are ballgames to watch on the road. The Audio/Navigation system is wonderful and is perfect for playing music throughout the RV as well as outdoors - and it links to Apple Carplay. The awning is really easy and is lighted. The outdoor kitchen is amazing and is absolutely perfect for cooking full breakfast and/or tailgating especially with the refrigerator and sink. Show less

Plumbing is awful. Have had continual issues. Water explodes from bathroom sink if I shower with the gray tank valve closed. Shower was draining slowly so used recommended tank treatment then flushed with 1.5 gal of water. This backed up in to toilet which now won't drain despite both outside valves being open. Save yourself the hassle and don't buy Jayco!! Show less

Jayco looks nice but fall apart then the warranty from jayco is garbage! Go with a different brand that honor their warranty as jayco will leave a bad taste in your mouth and waste your time , look at different brands garbage and they treat customers the way there products are Show less

My husband and I purchased our 2021 Jayco Precept 34G in April 2021.  We have the Farmhouse interior, which we love.  While the oven is only big enough to bake a single sheet of cookies or heat a pizza, the unit came with a regular Microwave oven, not a Convection oven.   So we shelled out $800 for a new Convection oven to enable us to cook food other than those I just listed.   We like the layout of the RV very much, and the theater seats are quite comfortable.  We had our first "issue" with our new RV less than one month later when we drove to our first outing.  In the time that we've owned this RV (less than 1 year), we have experienced the following issues: 1)  Rail on one side of overhead bunk has become detached from the wall, causing rail to move about freely 2)  Stone surface attached to the top of the Living Room TV is severely warped 3)  Trim around the Dining Room window is loose 4)  Various wall panels are loose 5)  Kitchen sink fell, due to lack of sufficient bracing and minimal glue used on brackets 6)  Generator sometimes stalls for no reason 7)  Areas of kitchen backsplash have detached from wall 8)  Door seals on outside storage compartments are not watertight; water gets inside of compartments Following are items we have already had to repair on our own, as our local dealership is too busy with other work, to be able to provide us with "warranty" repairs  (I'll get to this in a bit.....) 1)  Kitchen sink drain hose needed to be straightened, as it was installed with a severe U-turn in it, resulting in a blocked hose 2)  Hose under the bathroom sink had to be tightened as it was leaking water into the cabinet below the sink 3)  Front entry door sunshade had to be re-tied as original tie frayed and broke 4)  Two (2) interior overhead cabinet doors were falling off and required tightening 5)  The door brace at the bottom of the bathroom "barn" door came off while the motorhome was being driven, causing the entire door to swing outward while in motion.  Towels had to be stuffed under the door to prevent movement, until we could reach our destination. 6)  Area underneath the shower has flooded due to lack of caulking around shower pan,  as well as water seeping through "plugs" on interior of stall While Jayco provides a (2) year warranty, it is absolutely USELESS to us, as we live full-time in our RV.   So if you find yourself wanting to be a full-time RV'er, DON'T buy a Jayco!!  With the crappy quality of this unit, you will be on your own!   Overall, we feel that the workmanship of our 2021 Jayco Precept 34G is atrocious!  A child's toy assembled with Legos would be better quality than our Jayco.  We look forward in the very near future, to selling our Jayco for a MUCH better quality RV!
