My husband and I have loved traveling the country in this comfortable home on wheels. With power assist awnings and slides, solar power and satellite access, easy tank management and car towing option, we have plugged into shore power at state parks, or stayed out for a week or more on solar power and onboard water/waste tanks. One propane tank lasts all summer. The vehicle's powertrain provides ample power and a smooth ride whether we are in mountainous terrain or putting miles behind us on the plains. Vent fans and lots of windows maintain fresh air inside, and insulated window inserts, window coverings and a heavy drape between the cab and coach help manage extreme temperatures and privacy concerns. The gas stove/microwave/convection oven make food prep quick and easy, a big fridge/freezer keeps two weeks worth of provisions fresh. Ample counterspace plus double sinks makes cleanup a snap. With slides out, there's plenty of room for a workout. Sound systems, satellite availability and multiple TVs provide entertainment options. Exterior cameras make navigation and parking easy. We kept the coach garaged during winter months. No more warranty but a good service shop has kept her in top shape with twice/year inspections and repairs. Show less

Great to drive, tons of space for adults to sleep and hang out. Great towing and comfort while driving. Second owner. I really enjoyed having the RV. The only reason I am looking for a new RV is we want a Driveable Toy Hauler. Show less

The 2017 Coachmen Pursuit 27KB is ours, on consignment with Fife RV. It is in excellent, like new condition. Very low miles. Has an upgraded Serta Perfect Sleeper pillow-top King Bed. Recently invested over $5,000 in upgraded suspension including heavy duty Koni and Bilstein shocks. New side view cameras installed. Our RV is clean, fresh, comfortable and ready to roll. This was our first RV and we truly loved it. It supported my wife and me with our 4 (sometimes 5) kids on many adventures to Yellowstone, Glacier, Black Hills, Big Bend, and more. When we bought the RV our kids were 22, 15, 15, 14, and 13. We thought the bunkhouse layout would work for us and we were starting out on RV vacationing. It was the best decision. The layout really worked for us and the kids, but like everything, there were some drawbacks. Storage for that many people can be a problem, especially on a 3-week trip. To overcome that, we had the kids pack in trunks, with an overnight bag. SO the trunks would be stored under the RV at night and the toiletries and next day clothes went into the overhead cabinet in a basket. This worked great for us on many a trip even as the kids grew older. Last summer we spent 2 weeks in the Black Hills with an 18, 18, 17, and 16 yr old and the same process that had worked for years still worked and the same beds still provided a great night's sleep. I love to cook, especially on these trips. I thought the Convection Microwave/Oven was really helpful for those tasks like baking. I very rarely used the LP oven and it was a little small for a family this big, but I did find that I could split the food and use both when required. Most of our cooking was done outside on a grill I purchased and took with us. We ran the generator while we traveled in order to keep the AC running and let the kids use the TVs for movies and/or gaming. This proved to be very little trouble and never really affected the ~7MPG I would receive on the tank. Unfortunately, this year's Ford does not offer the "Miles to Empty" feature, so I hooked up an ODB-II sensor while we drove and ran it to an app that would keep track of fuel consumption and proved to me that information. During our years with the RV, we towed 2 separate vehicles with us to our adventures. The first 5 years we flat towed a 2013 Ford Flex. The RV had no problems pulling the Ford and we saw maybe an average of 1/2 an MPG hit to the fuel. We experienced no issues while braking and only once did we experience an issue pulling and I am not sure if that was my inexperience or the limitations of the RV. We were in Jackson Hole Wyoming, towing the Flex for the first trip to Yellowstone and we were driving up a very, very steep road. I felt like the RV was struggling so I pulled over, detached the Flex and drove up and over the pass, reconnected on the other side. That was the only time in 6 years that it happened, but I thought I would share. In the last 1.5 years, we have flat towed our 2015 Jeep JKU and there has not been a single problem. We even towed up to Mt Rushmore for a 2-week trip and back. With kids as old as mine, it does get a little cramped in the "living space" on those rainy days where we would sit, play board games or watch TV, but we always got through it and enjoyed the times. We spent the majority of our time outside during the day and enjoyed watching a movie under the stars and around the fire with the outside TV. Although the upgraded AC/Heat pump was great to come in a break the heat of the day and cool down. I was really glad I upgraded to that. The RV was simple to set up and tear down. The Bigfoot auto leveling jacks make it as simple as the touch of a button to extend and level or retract and go. I could, by myself, be level, fully hooked up, and extended in ~15 mins from arrival on site. That was great for those late-night arrivals, especially those late-night arrivals in the rain. Fuel economy advertised at 15 to 18 mpg. Drove for 4000 miles. Tried speed for long haul was 65 mph. Plenty of power. Fuel capacity requires you to stop every 270 miles. Highly recommend. I love the storage and layout of my prism. I can park about anywhere, For family of 4-6 people, I think this is the right size, I would buy my coachman prism again Show less

This has been a great little motor home. We had a few factory issues at first, but the dealer fixed them quickly. I see in the small print that I can't mention the dealer, but they were in Troy, Ohio. This RV is the sports truck of RVs. It handles nice and has plenty of power for getting on the highway. When fully loaded, it does have a problem getting up long steep grades. I have a tendency to keep my foot in it, so my mileage has never made it above about 13 miles per gallon, and is usually in the 8-10 range (at 65-70 mph) My biggest issue with this unit is the 25 gallon gas tank. It can only go about 300 miles before you need to refill. This is fine until you get out west where the gas stations can be few and far between. The layout is very handy and works well for our style of traveling. We camp to travel, not travel to camp. We usually drive from spot to spot, site seeing along the way, and do very little long term camping. I was going to get the optional solar panel, but so far the batteries get charged up enough when driving. I have yet to see this model with the "optional swivel passenger seat". That would be a great addition and should be standard. I can't get the RV dealer or Ford to install an after market seat because of "liability issues". It was also about half the price of most other RVs that were similar in style and size. A deciding factor for us poor folks! Show less

Other than the shower being a bit small for us as we love camp cooking this has been a great rig! The 7th for us over the last 30 years. The kitchen counter space is amazing you have room to work. The large windows especially in the bedroom allows us to enjoy the views we go camping to enjoy. The ability to park level and side out without stepping outside in rain is such a plus. The paint rather than decals make it easy to maintain. This is the only rig we have had people at gas stations compliment us on the look of it and ask to see inside, at least 5 times! There is an outdoor TV as well as the 2 inside that we have never use but it is there if you enjoy that sort of thing. The Ford 450 has great power and by keeping it at 55 to 60 mph we get great mileage. Over all we have been very pleased and had no trips to the dealer for annoying little repairs. Show less

This is a great RV for the money. It has all the features and look of a diesel pusher but the economy of a V10 gas. Plenty of power in the hills gets around easy. the set up is super easy as well. within 5 minutes you are ready to relax and enjoy why you came! Show less

I love my RV. Army Veteran retired CW3 and a Seargant First Class, Gold Star Wife and Family! I loved it... cooking while camping with the luxury of home! I have wonderful memories. Actually made me miss the field and the soldiers ! Show less
