This 2012 Coachmen Chaparral 345BHS has been a great camper for my family, since 2018. Our daughter is off to college, so we want to give another family an opportunity to have fun in this camper. 3 sliders 2 exterior doors Dual propane tanks Outside kitchen Interior Kitchen with Quartzite counter top Queen Master Suite Private Bunk House Lots of cabinet storage The bunkhouse is awesome! When my wife and I were looking for our first camper, we wanted a bunkhouse from day one. We new it was important for our teenage daughter to have her privacy. Teens are going through physical and emotional changes, and we knew she would appreciate her own private space. She loved the privacy of the bunkhouse! Most campers we looked at only had a curtain separating the main living room from the bunk house, which isn't really private at all. This camper has its own door, which completely separates the living room from the bunk house. The outside shower, and extra door to the half bath was awesome for keeping sand out of the living room. The kitchen has a Quartzite countertop, a huge fridge freezer, microwave, with gas stove and oven. The master bedroom has a queen bed, and a large full bath with corner shower. This camper is currently listed for sale on RV Trader

Looking for a newer camper and would definitively stick with an apex if they have a layout we like with a bit more living space.

First time buyer. Purchased a 2012 in 2013 from McPhails in Harriston Ontario. Being greenhorns I think they saw us coming and the trailer was already a year old and was starting to stink up their lot and they wanted to get rid of it. Gave us a good deal and a one hour tour hoping they would never see the piece of junk again. We took one camping trip with it before parking it up at our lot up north. We basically use it as a camp kitchen for cooking and eating. The propane fridge works well, no complaints there. The stereo has not worked since that first trip. We started noticing water on the floor in front of the fridge the next year. Water was leaking in through the fridge vents. Called McPhails who said vents do not leak and got no support from them. We then took the trailer to Delorme's a local dealer for inspection and winter storage. They inspected the roof, did some re-sealing on it and re-caulked the fridge vents. We sent the bill to the manufacturer who begrudgingly paid for the work. The cheque was accompanied with a rather terse letter. Next year the water on the floor was back, the awning window was leaking and so was a side window. We tried to reseal the windows, but were told they had to be removed and reinstalled properly. Over the years, it developed so many leaks we just gave up and started covering the trailer when not using it. It is now 7 years later and the floor is soft in many places. Why they would use OSB for the flooring is beyond stupid. We had to put down 1/2 inch plywood just so we can walk around in it. While it still looks new from the outside, the trailer would require extensive and expensive restoration to the floors and walls. So we will continue to use it as long as we can and keep trying to seal the leaks. Eventually, we will tow it to the scrap yard. Bottom line is these things are built light and cheap and you get what you pay for. If you are a greenhorn please do your homework first before you buy any travel trailer. I only wish we had.

I have owned this unit since June 2016 and it has been remarkably trouble-free thus far. I tow a 22' boat (5000 lbs) extensively and it has handled that like a champ, I probably wouldn't want to drag that through the mountains, but on the relatively flat terrain in my area it has been great, even launching/retrieving goes smoothly with some pre-planning. Love the quality upgrade elements on this coach like Corian counters, porcelain tile throughout, and solid wood doors and cabinets. Mine was previously a rental so very high miles, but the Ford chassis has been bulletproof thus far. Great unit!

I am in California and Coachmen Mirada RV's I have been enjoying since 2007 when I purchased my first one. I have purchased about 30 used over the years because I am a dealer but the Quality tends to be higher than other brands that I better not mention. The First one I purchased back in 2007 I sold to a Buyer in New Zealand and I ended up selling 9 more to a buyer in Australia. A friend of the Guy I worked with in Australia purchased 20 brand new from Coachmen for roughly 2 million dollars or $100k each at wholesale. They were custom built with a Reverse floorplan so that the entry door was on the left side vs the right. So If you Google search for Coachmen Mirada Australia you will see that this is the model they chose to export over other brands. Ease of use and good quality vs cost are great reasons to choose Coachmen Mirada.

Our first and only RV purchase. The dealer must have seen us coming and thought, here's a chance to get that Viking off our lot. First trip, stereo stopped working and a exterior reflector blew off on the highway. During the second year we noticed water on the floor in front of the fridge. It appears to be a faulty design of the exterior vents for the fridge. We inspect the roof every year and even had it resealed by an RV service shop, so the roof was not the problem. The owner of that shop told us they are all built like crap and there are no brands they could recommend. We started noticing the floor at the front of the trailer getting soft. We found that the awning window on the front had been leaking, but the water was inside the walls so we never noticed it until it damaged the floor. We are now looking to gut the trailer so that we can repair the floors and walls and reseal the leaking windows. Not a great experience. Obviously, we were inexperienced and did not realize just how much maintenance these things require. As one fellow on another forum put it, "they are just pieces of crap wrapped in aluminium siding".

This is a wonderful Class C for a couple. The center entertainment center make is a great place to unwind. THe 220le has no slides but that means nothing to break, stick or be stuck. The bathroom is large enough to show and clean freshen up. They took advantage of the raising the queen corner bed and in so doing provide a huge storage space. The Fore E350 V10 has a ton of power, can tow up to 5000 pounds! She never ran out of power and handled 75 MPH like a champ. It has 6 seat belts and I could see using the storage space for tents and other gear to take family.
