2011 Tiffin Allegro Bus reviews

This diesel pusher motorhome is truly special. She will fit into parks where the big guys can’t go and is a dream to manipulate in tight spaces. She can camp in the National Park campgrounds like Yellowstone and Glacier and boondock in the grasslands of AZ. The interior is very comfortable and has tons of storage. Tiffin outdid themselves in taking advantage of just about every nook and cranny. The wrap around dinette is a great place to stretch out and watch TV or entertain guests. The driver and passenger seats spin around for additional seating. There are opposing slides in the main living area so the coach has a very big feel and with the slides in you can still access the refrigerator, head, and bedroom when you are making a quick stop. The galley is nicely appointed with a stainless sink, solid surface countertops, gas cooktop and a convection microwave. There is a slide out pantry ideal for canned goods and staples. There is a large set of shelves above the pantry for additional storage. The mid-cabin TV area has cabinets above and below that are an ideal spot for wine glasses and adult beverage bottles. The refrigerator will run on AC or propane so you never have to worry about draining your batteries when you are running down the road or camping without power. The split head is especially nice in that one person can shower while the other uses the sink and toilet. Pocket doors close off this area fore and aft for privacy. There is plenty of storage in the bedroom with a large hanging closet and two sets of shelves and drawers on either side of the bed. There is also storage both under the bed and in drawers in the pedestal. There is additional storage in a large hall linen closet. The hand finished wooden cabinetry in this coach rivals anything you would see in a custom home. It is a warm honey colored wood with a smooth satin finish. Flooring is almost all easy clean vinyl tile. There is a small amount of carpet on the slides and it has been recently replaced so it is virtually brand new, Outside there is ample storage in the bays. The doors to the bays are beautifully made and include gas shocks for easy open and close. The bays can be accessed from both sides and are continuous front to back so that long items can be accommodated. The Navistar engine is a real workhorse. It is capable of pulling up to 5000 lbs of tow and was built before DEF was required so it eliminates that aggravation. It has been problem free other than normal maintenance items. It gets a consistent 10 MPG. The Onan generator is easy to start and will easily drive the dual ACs as well as other appliances when needed. Show less

We have had 4 long trips with this RV . Great ride very comfortable and easy to use. Newer A/C newer water heater new batterys no pet's no smoking we have keep the camper up. It has only 25,000. Miles on it. Lot's of storage in good condition. Show less

Replaced mickeywavr..oven cables..all batts...stairs fixed..water pump..water heater...solenoid batt disconnect switch..repaired re painted dash..fridge probs...furnace haetaer blower and mother board replaced. 3k with all work includes labor at250 hr las Vegas needs paint correction..drives like a milk truck needs brakes and bearings to be done next month.. bought used with 70k miles 57500....still it's tiffin ready for another 70k to do Show less

We named our RV “Joy” and that is what she has brought us!! This all-electric coach is a dream. We are extremely picky and take great care of our things. Joy has been no exception. She has been serviced in every area. All records kept. We drove her to Red Bay, Alabama for extra care and service. Bob Tiffin met us and answered our novice questions. There is something special about meeting the man who had the vision for RVing! The coach is perfect from floor plan to drivability. It is so relaxing to just hit the road...to Rough it Smoothly. This was our first Class A motorhome.We purchased in March of 2021.We are the 3rd owners and have put around 3000 miles on since we purchased.We have been on 3 trips from Virginia to spending 9 days in Hilton Head, SC. One of the best features of the RV, is the amount of storage inside and outside.Plenty of room for chairs, tables, grills etc. The couch and dinette are on large slide and the kitchen opens on the opposite side which really opens up this coach. We have a family of 4 and you don't feel like you are on top of each other. Plenty of seating with the driver and passenger side seat swiveling to the main living area. Outside setup a breeze with utility hook and auto leveling. The coach is equipped with cable and internet connection points. It does a internal water filter but we also used one at the hookup. The black water tank flush is a great addition. This coach is has been very well maintained with lots of service records and all the manuals. Tiffin has great customer service as well if you have any questions, parts or problems. We have replaced all the batteries in June 2021.Carpets and furniture were just cleaned in May 2021. Our life has taken a different direction,temporarily. This is the only reason for selling. We plan to purchase another Tiffin,just not for about 2 more years. Very good small class A. Maxforce 7 diesel engine provided 5K pulling capacity and was fine with small vehicle, like a Honda CRV. No issues with engine or transmission. Regular maintenance and tightening loose claps and screws, etc., from road Wonderful floor plan and ample storage in basement. Tiffin, esp. with Bob, is known for top notch care of its customers. They are known for fixing issues that are common to their coaches. Only have two things that pertain to my rating. On driving: I had a Safe-T-Plus Steering Control and movement control units (MCU's) installed at Henderson's Lineup to improve steering. These improvements made this small bus a joy to drive! We love our Tiffin. The motorhome has lots of luxury features like the blinds and all the room in the cabinets and the basement compartments are super large and can fit so many things. I am amazed by the Workhorse Chassis paired with the Chevy power plant. The dual exhaust and the torque make the combination one of the best to tow vehicles. The upgrades in springs, shocks and steering stabilizer make driving a pleasure. I upgrade the cameras to color and I love the front mounted mirrors which allows driving without taking ones focus off the roadway. Show less

Tiffin quality is the best in class A motorhomes with technicians ready to help you no matter the problem or help you might need. Our Open Road 30GA being 31.6 feet is perfect size for ease of driving, parking and fitting into state park camp sites. Even with slides in there is plenty of room to get around to fix lunch, use the restroom or even sleep in the comfy queen size bed. Love this split bathroom floorplan. Refrigerator, water heater and room heat have option of electric or propane source. Plenty of storage with custom wood cabinets inside and several large pass-thru bays outside. Comfortable ride in new leather captain chairs both with electric adjustments. Koni shocks takes the bumps out and Safe-T-Plus stabilizers keeps you in your lane. Show less

By far the Best Small Diesel Pusher for getting around. Shortest turning radius to get into any restaurant, shopping center, gas station. Very quiet driving, great Allison smooth transmission. Walk around Queen bed and two ceiling ducted air conditioners makes for great living conditions. So much better than the front diesel Sprinter Chassis. Tiffin Quality and Company Support. Perfect upgrade for replacing a Gas Coach or Front Diesel. 2011 does not require DEF. Drove mine for more than 30K miles. Show less
