This is my first RV purchase. I am a 66 year old male who has been in sales my entire life. Because I am able to do business anywhere I have cell phone coverage, I chose to ‘take my show on the road’. And love it!
So I purchased a 2019 Nu Camp Tab 320-S Boondock Lite Tear-Drop Travel Trailer from a local Camping World in San Diego, CA; not knowing ANYTHING about the Nu Camp brand name, or its companies history in RV business. The first thing I noticed as I became familiar with all the campers equipment was the quality of all the woodwork. REAL SOLID (MAPLE] in my 2019 model. When I walked into a BRAND NEW 2024 400 series. Bigger, newer, beautiful right? Right. Except you immediately notice laminate materials are now being used in their newer models. I’m not sure why except for obviously less cost. Less weight of course. Definitely noticeable.
Overall, I love my Nu Camp teardrop Tab 320. I will be upgrading to the 360 soon, but hope this information is helpful. NOTE: I know that the newer campers from Nu Camp are now using lithium batteries in there camper builds. This weight increase is likely significant enough to change the campers weight distribution. Something I will confirm with Nu Camp Inc.
