We have had numerous RVs and this one fit our needs the best. It is small enough to fit into many state and federal parks and large enough for our comfort. It is easy to setup and pack up. Pristine condition, easy to drive, simple to set up and to take down. Spacious on the inside yet only 28’ long, so qualifies for most federal, stare, and local campground size limits. Perfect rig for a couple and two kids or grandkids. Show less

Superb layout. Love the bunkhouse layout with 2 bunk beds plus an extra over-the-cabin bunk. Tons of storage and outside entertainment! It has served our family well, it really is the perfect motorhome for a family of 5! Show less

2017 made the big mistake buying the 2017 winneabago sunstar lx very pretty very defective 2 trips 2017 had over 22 repairs including a cracking roof winneabago refused to replace to this day this tv has been in the shop more then vacation i regret trading in my jayco huge mistake winneabago customer service so unprofessional and nasty this unit should of been taken back under the lemmon law i can not afford to sell or trade it in i would still be paying the loan. 2 yrs ago the windshield cracked my insurance paid for the replacement no impaction just cracked now again windshield cracked same spot again the hood keeps braking off the hinge has been repaired 3 times i have a list of repairs on pissed off consumer i cant take it anymore just went to maine to see my son he had to help me get the slid out back in this is one of my complaints in 2017 winneabago said the metal shavings on the floor were normal i neve seen this before stay away from the 2017 winneabago sunstar lx all repurposed parts i have the list of repair receipts i can wall paper a room with out of pocket money gas tolls work rent car carriers to drop off for repairs i use to enjoy rv Show less

We moved from a small Forest River C into this small Winnebago A last year. We couldn't be happier with our choice. This RV has a great floor plan, with a couch facing the dinette; the very comfortable cabin chairs turn to complete the living area. For sleeping, there's the huge king-sized bed or the Euroloft drop down bed. The dinette and couch also turn into beds for a total of 7 sleeping spots. The bathroom features a large shower and plenty of storage, including a corner medicine cabinet, a vanity, and a bonus drawer in the side wall. For entertainment, there's a TV over the dinette, a tv in the bedroom, and an exterior TV for watching under the awning. For meals, there is a large fridge, an oven and a microwave. Storage is a huge strength for this RV. The class A means a lot of basement storage. The interior matches that generosity of space by including storage in drawers under the bed, a closet with two drawers below in the bedroom, and cabinets overhead all along the ceiling. The difference in quality between a Winnebago and the others is pretty obvious. In the year we've had it, we've been very pleased at the lack of little annoying issues. If I were in charge of designing these RV's, I would add more counter space and widen the pantry cabinets. I also wonder why we have to plug into the generator when we need to use it. But those complaints pale when compared to the impressive quality and the wonderful floorplan. Show less

This motorhome is up to date and was extremely well taken care of. I really appreciated the closet space...a very large garment closet that holds all the clothes a girl could want! A 6 drawer dresser plus the bed also easily raises up with tons of storage under. I really liked the updated look of the interior and the kitchen had plenty of storage for anything needed for gourmet cooking. As for under the hood all I can say is... IT'S VERY CLEAN! Show less

We have had our Sun star almost a uear & 1/2 now. It's really nice for traveling even tho gas mileage is horrible but that is to be expected. The engine has power to pull mountains even towing a trailer or a vehicle. Now the negatives. The quality is HORRIBLE! we have had to take it to the dealer about 20 times for numerous issues with parts missing, flooring coming up, trim falling off, water pump,.... Even with the warranty covering the repairs, this was costly with $200 in fuel each trip. Now that the warranty has expired, it is even more expensive. The warranty is good but doesn't last long enough for this many problems. I would not recommend this to anyone. Show less

Great RV. Have to sell for medical reasons or I would not be selling. Took out couch and replaced with 2 recliners. We are living in it and have no complaints.We have traveled some but mainly have a lot next to a lake. Show less

Drives well, plenty of power, short turn radius. Dinette makes meals in the motorhome comfortable and convenient. Plenty of storage, particularly in the bedroom. Wardrobe is large and convenient. Galley is well laid out and meal preparation is straightforward. Driver's visibility is excellent and there are plenty of aids to situational awareness. Interior lighting is excellent. Bathroom is compact but well laid out and easy to use. External storage is plentiful and secure. Even though the length of the motorhome is compact, living in it doesn't feel cramped. With the slides extended the unit feels roomy, but even with them all retracted the toilet area and bedroom are accessible and meal preparation is easy. Climate control allows for comfortable temperatures in all weather. Show less

Where do I start? I will make this simple. This is the worst manufacturered RV I have ever owned. Definitely not worth the price! We purchased this 5th wheel New in 2016 and by the end of the season it spent more time at the dealership getting repaired than in our possession. Then in 2017 we found the slide walls were detaching from the frame. This was supposed to be permanently repaired which 2 dealers could not do so due to the poor manufacturing of the trailer. Now according to Forest River this is normal on all their units! Interesting because my parent’s own a Keystone which they purchased used and it is 12 years older than our Rockwood and their walls are not coming apart. So I highly recommend you stay away from any and all Forest River products as they are poorly built and will fall apart within a year. Show less
