This a great RV for couples and families with really versatile sleeping arrangements. Light and airy the space feels large and has tons of storage . The RV has a strong engine and is handles extremely well. The outside storage offers a good amount of space to stow all the things for your outdoor adventures. The awning has a led light strip and there are outdoor speakers. This particular unit is solar ready just waiting for panels. Show less

Within weeks of buying this brand new RV we began to regret our purchase. From the moment we brought it home things started to go wrong. Leaking water pipes, cracked side window, auto-leveling jacks leaking hydraulic fluid ... within the first 3 days we found seven significant defects/problems, and this is before we ever took it out to go RVing. It only got worse at the campsite. Auto-leveling system locked in the down position. We were stranded at the campsite for over a day until someone helped us figure out how to manually release the hydraulic fluid in the jacks. I could go on . . . multiple major issues kept us from every really enjoying the RV, and it spent more time in service than it did in our possession. I just ended up selling it to a dealer at a $40,000 loss. - Never buy a Thor! Show less

Overall, very good experience after all understanding all the ins and outs of the Motorhome. There was a notable positive step change in quality and finish in the 2022 Hurricane 34J, with improvements in the styling of the coach, newer headlight design and arrangement and especially with the new F53 chassis with the 7.3L Godzilla engine. This is night an day from the old coaches in both handling and power. No more redlining to get into the powerband of the engine, which makes for a more leisurely drive. The interior is great with good finishes all around, nice materials used to withstand wear and the layout is a family dream. The overhead bunk along with mid coach bunk is amazing and makes the unit feel even bigger than a 36 ft unit. The full wall slide really opens up the interior and makes for a great living space. Use of slide locks is recommended as the slide is large and may move, but most slides should use them to avoid any movement. The new Thor quality is a testament to their commitment to improve reliability and should not be overlooked. I think Thor coaches are some of the best deals on the market today and are on their way to outshining their peers in both looks and reliability. Show less

I have owned several different makes of RV’s from a Coachmen tent trailer, Aljo 26 travel trailer, 35 Alfa Gold 5th wheel and a 30 Holiday Rambler Alumiscape. All of them had varying degrees of accessories and amenities and all were great Rv’s. I then got into the Class B segment by buying a Roadtrek and while it was great for getting into tight places, it just lacked the comfort of a real RV. By that I am mainly referring to the lack of a large king size bed and a bathroom I could turn around in without knocking things down. I then started looking at the Mercedes-Benz line of Class C’s that Thor was putting out. I had looked over several of the competing models but only to find lesser quality of builds or a price so high, it should have had a picket fence attached. The Synergy was a great blend of it all and yet still had that easy to maneuver sizing and ample interior room. The struggle with any RV is storage space, the Synergy had great space thanks to a large pass through in the very back that could accommodate large items without have in to keep them inside the living space. Great features like Bluetooth connectivity to operate the awning, room slide out and start the generator were all amazing things to have and came in quite handy more than I thought. The Mercedes-Benz drivetrain has been a treat and very solid. Gas mileage has also been great averaging around 14 MPG! These are not your grandparents old motorhomes, they are new and fresh and give you that freedom to go out and explore and not have to worry about parking a bus while getting fuel or groceries! Bought this used with only 14000 miles on it. Propane line to the fridge caught fire while getting ready to go on our first trip. Was in the shop just short of 2 years to get fixed. (couldn't get parts). Have had to replace the windshield wiper pump, windshield, house batteries, Radio/backup and side view mirror monitor, the entire door locking mechanism. Now we see why the original owner got rid of it. This is just a money pit and I would not recommend it to anyone. Show less

The size of our Vegas 24.1 is perfect for parking in metro areas, running errands then slipping back into the camp ground; easy to drive, it handles like a Suburban. The Ford chassis is awesome: the 6.8L V-10 engine pulls like a locomotive! Six speeds allow a gear for every hilly situation without over-revving or bogging the engine. Smaller, lighter weight class A on a proven chassis with great towing capabilities, and a low center of gravity for SUV-like handling, makes for an attractive package. Heated tanks allow easy 3 season use. Rear and side mirror cameras are great! Fold-down laptop space for the passenger is awesome! Wish every RV had it! Perfect size between teenie Class B and a 48-foot bus and handles better than a Class C ever could. The 24.1 is a great model because you can access the king-size bed on the road anytime without having to stop and extend a slide. Doors on the bathroom effectively double the size of the area when open and allow privacy, front and rear. Huge panoramic windshield, great swivel captain chairs up front, perfect drop down bed and couch that together sleeps 3 additional people. Outdoor entertainment system, outside shower, 3 burner stove, convection oven, microwave, great sleep area for master room! Plenty of room inside and out for two, we would never need anything larger. We owned an older Class C before and disliked the overhang at the front and sides of the cab, limiting the view. Shower is nominal (27” x 27”) and so is kitchen sink. Headlights and fog lights are almost impossible to access and provide truly inferior illumination, even after replacing all the bulbs with high-end, high-watt LEDs. The tiny diameter of the lights is the problem; a perfect example of functionality being sacrificed for styling aesthetics. And changing them to anything else would take some major fabrication way beyond the average RVer’s capabilities. Thor’s quality control also leaves a lot to be desired: fresh water tank hole shavings plugged the screen at the water pump reducing shower and faucet pressures to a mere trickle, kitchen faucet hold-down ring broken, factory worker pistachio shells found under the master bed, under the kitchen sink and even in the engine compartment under the doghouse!!! Outside are decals that split and crack within the first year because Thor was too cheap to paint them on or use UV-resistant decal material and clear-coat them with UV-resistant clear-coat, kitchen cabinets that won’t stay shut around a corner because of misalignment of the catches, wallpaper in the bathroom) that peels up at the first shower (who puts wallpaper in a hot humid wet area???), etc. Thor mediocrity atop a truly exception chassis and drive train. To me, it was worth it, overall, and I would make the purchase again. But plan on spending a fair amount of time and money to correct the factory’s inferior quality control. Show less

We love this Thor Chateau 28z RV for the size, comfort, livability, traveling ease, and convenience. The North/South master bedroom fits perfectly for convenience and comfort. The floor plan works well for traveling, as well as, for camping. The indoor color scheme has a classic look and feel. The exterior color and design is refined, yet sporty. Campy. Storage compartments, interior and exterior, are unsurpassed for a motor coach this size. Show less

Motoring across America has been a great experience traveling in this high performance coach. 450 horses, 1250 pounds of torque and two-stage Jakob brakes smoothly and powerfully navigate the steepest paths while easily towing a heavy vehicle. The 60 degree wheel cut means you don’t need 90 acres to turn around. The 44,600 GVWR weight means safe traveling in most winds. Aqua Hot, 10KW Onan generator, 3 roof Acs mean you can stay comfortable in all types of weather and climate. 3 slides (one huge) means you have room for all your important stuff. King size bed, theater seating, 60 inch TV, electric fireplace, and Apple TV means you can relax in style. There is more: full size frig, bath and a half, Dirt Devil central vac. Show less

This has been our home on wheels for a decade as we motored across America seeing the sights. We are only selling because we are moving to Costa Rica. Powerful and smooth on the road. Spacious and comfortable parked. Lots of extras--a pleasure to live in. Here is a short video of a 2015 Tuscany 45AT shot in 2015 that will give you a good feel of the coach.
