The previous reviews are for previous years. I guess they have improved this model for 2024 since it has only been around since 2021. I have had this now for 7 months, traveled 8,000 miles, stopping more than 40 times in 9 states and 2 provinces. Hasn't given me any trouble at all during all this. Everything works well and is quite dependable so far. The Ram van is a great vehicle with a fine, comfortable ride. I get up to 20 mpg unless it's very windy, then it goes down to 16 or 17. Only a minor U-connect software recall they fixed right quick. So, I am impressed and quite pleased with my new home. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for quality are the drawers, which are a bit flimsy but quite functional. I'm sure things will break, everything made by humans will, then I might have something to say about Thor service! I wouldn't have given a service rating but it was mandatory.

I love idea of this vehicle and have had fun traveling this summer BUT… there have been some quality issues that are hard to look past. First the recalls- 1. Your awning may open on its own while vehicle is in motion, restrain the awning with zip ties and take to dealer ASAP. Dealer said they’d have the part in days it took weeks. 2. Your generator may catch fire do not use, take to Generator manufacturer for service (hours from home). Oh and by the way we don’t have the parts to fix it, we will call you in a couple months when they come in. Next, let’s talk interior build quality. The rear speakers for the stereo do not seem to be connected- they will need the vehicle for a week to disassemble and track the problem down. Last week after a trip one of the cabinet doors was on the floor. It fell off because the cabinets are made of low grade particle board and the doors are mounted with small, short self tapping screws- the particle board crumbled where the screws were mounted. The same thing happened to the lower front facial of couch/ bed. 3. The refrigerator door almost instantly went out of alignment and need to be repaired, because would not seal. The dealer “fixed” it but that only lasted two days, we are back where we started and in the mean time the door to the freezer fell off. All problems seem to be Thor related the Ram 1500 Van itself has been great and gets 18 MPG. Like I said I love the idea of this Van the size and floor plan are great but shame on Thor for putting such poor quality in such a costly vehicle.

I have owned this class B RV for 10 months and traveled 18,000 miles. I use it as a daily driver, my only vehicle. Mine has had several build and design quality issues that have made me regret choosing it. While I am OK with fixing a few things myself, there have been several that I could not. This RV depends on many electronic controllers that the user has no choice but to replace completely. As delivered to me, my new unit had propane and water leaks, a non functioning controller tablet, a bed system that falls apart, numerous loose screws, construction debris and water valves placed in inaccessible locations, inadequate insulation and a solar panel that could become detached. The electric awning has never functioned, the kitchen fan leaks from the outside, the shower pan is not supported underneath, the generator will not power the A/C for more than 10 minutes and there are outstanding recalls that the dealer has not performed. While I have managed to make a few camping trips, I have been unable to enjoy the use I had hoped for from my expensive purchase and getting service from the selling dealer has been very difficult to near impossible.

I purchased a new 2022 vehicle from approved dealer in January 2022. Here is a list of the failures and design problems encountered within first three months: - Propane leak when delivered due to use of pipe dope on compression fitting. - UConnect radio not working when delivered. - Electric awning will not extend (waiting for 2nd repair). - Several fresh water plumbing leaks. - Generator will not start after 4.2 hours of use. - Several water valves installed in hidden or inaccessible locations. - Propane level gauge failed after 3 weeks. - No antifreeze suction hose provided. - Sewer hose cover will not latch. - Debris, sawdust, many loose parts and screws left throughout camper. - Water pump not supported or attached to structure. - Max Fan not securely attached to roof. - Bed support screws and latches constantly falling out. - Flimsy, poorly designed, uncomfortable bed design. It is almost impossible to get warranty work done by any of the local dealerships and the local independent service shops will not accept any repair work needed under manufacturer's warranty. Spending tens of thousands of dollars on a new vehicle does not assure that the buyer will have a fully functioning, fit-for-purpose, reliable vehicle for everyday use.

After pulling a small trailer full time for the past 6 years I decided to transition to a van. Ram promaster runs well. And while I love the van life and I like the layout of this van the van build quality is awful. Generator is located below the axle.(which is against Cummins regulations) I’ve already had to replace it and it’s not warrantied since it was “my fault” according to Thor. “Wood” used throughout is cheap particle board. Screws came out of bathroom doors. They’re just leaning now. Sliding door panel is loose. Panel under stove popped out. Outlets were hooked up incorrectly and loose. Bike rack was installed incorrectly. Antenna doesn’t work. Weatherstripping on fan already has to be replaced. Uconnect stopped working. Casette toilet door doesn’t fully latch. Sewer hose door opened in transit day 1 and I lost my hose (when latched you can pull it open). I wish I would have spent more and gone with a Travato or sprinter.
