Overall, very good experience after all understanding all the ins and outs of the Motorhome. There was a notable positive step change in quality and finish in the 2022 Hurricane 34J, with improvements in the styling of the coach, newer headlight design and arrangement and especially with the new F53 chassis with the 7.3L Godzilla engine. This is night an day from the old coaches in both handling and power. No more redlining to get into the powerband of the engine, which makes for a more leisurely drive. The interior is great with good finishes all around, nice materials used to withstand wear and the layout is a family dream. The overhead bunk along with mid coach bunk is amazing and makes the unit feel even bigger than a 36 ft unit. The full wall slide really opens up the interior and makes for a great living space. Use of slide locks is recommended as the slide is large and may move, but most slides should use them to avoid any movement. The new Thor quality is a testament to their commitment to improve reliability and should not be overlooked. I think Thor coaches are some of the best deals on the market today and are on their way to outshining their peers in both looks and reliability.

Physically, this motorhome is a handsome looking unit, sides, front and back. Stylish modern graphics. It has good road manners, powerful and quiet. Quality inside, fit and finish is fine, not industrial strength to handle hard rough use. Electrical systems and plumbing continue to work as they should. The overall body is tight on rough roads, no rattles, creaks, squeaks. Well pleased with this unit. The negative issue I have had was the wimpy uncomfortable stock mattress, (changed that right quick) and the Ford Triton V10 engine exhaust manifold gasket leak. A snotty job to replace them, but not enough to give up ownership to another brand.

Engine light came on at 100 miles, problem with the catalytic converter, windshield leaks, both driver and passenger windows leak, passenger window won't open due to wrong seal being installed, fridge mounted backwards so you cannot adjust the shelving inside, multiple bolts and screws missing, slide out came off the tracks the first time we extended it......and the list goes on.

Drop down bunk Pins do not align, generator would not start, shades fell off, TV fell off the wall, propane gauges would not work, cabinet door warped and needed replaced, Grey and black tanks even though empty read 33% full at all times. I would never but a Thor product again and if I could get rid of this one and not lose my $$ on it i would.

This is our 3rd purchase from Camping World, the first 2 were travel trailers and we have been pleased with them so we returned to Camping World to trade on a Class A to live in full time and travel. The first trip the door flew open on the interstate and would not secure; the handle broke off in my hand. When I called Thor Customer Service, even though, I explained the door would not remain shut and the handle broke off in my hand on a brand new unit, I was told I had to go to a dealership. Thus on a busy interstate, I tied a rope to secure as best I could and after finally arriving at the dealership, they could not repair the door either. Then the kitchen cabinet/countertop came loose from the side of the coach. Many other issues with the unit and after 3 purchases all Camping World will do is offer roughly 75 % of what I paid for it Brand New less than 2 months ago. The Thor representative openly admitted on the recorded message that they were aware of quality issues with their product and thus they offered a warranty but will do nothing other than have consumer return to the dealership for warranty work, worst experience ever. Hey, Thor, how about take safety and quality serious and have no tolerance for sub standard products and then you would have happy customers and they would buy repeatedly from you, example, RV buyers buy and upgrade several times, just like my wife and I, but never again from Thor or Camping World. Sad that Thor puts out such a poor product and cares nothing for the lives of their customers and Camping World is complicit with them.

Thor will not do anything about a factory defect. Our Hurricane motor coach got a soft spot on the floor near the stove. We had a Thor repair shop check it out. They discovered that the original factory drilled a hole in the drain line behind the outside TV when wiring it. Therefore it had been leaking without our knowledge whenever we emptied the sink full or washed clothes. No water ran into the inside floor. However the leak has ruined the floor on the slide out. A cost of $15,000.00 according to the repair shop. We contacted Thor customer service and explained the situation and they refused to do anything about it even though it was their original factory defect. Their warranty has expired so they do not care about customer service. I will never buy another Thor product and I would advise anyone else not to buy a Thor also.

I am so disappointed in what was supposed to have been a quality motorcoach company. I purchased it new and immediately there were multiple evidences of poor workmanship. One deficit did not manifest until 14 months (12 month warranty)after purchase but was obviously a factory mistake and the company chose to rely on policy rather than integrity. This is a business practice I would expect in a Third World country but not in North America.

This RV drives great, I bought and installed a steering stabilizer to help with lane drift and big truck passing. The great thing we like about the rv is the large wall slide out, because it gives more room to move about while inside. No smoking or pets have been done in it. No accidents or any major repairs, but the wire to to slide out had to be replaced and now it works fine. The only reason we are selling it is because we are not using it as much as we thought we would. It needs to move and not sit still. I do start and move it once a month , also I start and run the generator for about five minutes each month. The batteries are new and kept up with my own solar panel. Everything works as it should with no problems.
