Overall happy with the Thor Axis 24.1 and think the floor plan is excellent. One improvement is to rethink the bathroom in order to enlarge the shower stall. I have had very few issues with the RV and only one warranty repair which was covered and easily repaired. Anytime I have called Thor technical support I have received excellent service and advice. The suspension and drivability is not very good. Thor should consider beefing up the shocks, leaf springs and adding a steering bar. Yea, this would add cost, so make it optional, but doing these upgrades afterwards is more costly and time consuming..

Love this little RV. The 24.4 is on an E450 frame and "Godzilla" engine. It drives much better than the E350 frames. We picked this unit for the towability (7,000+ lbs), the floor plan, the length (under 26' which is great for National Parks), and the price. Given a do-over, with what's available on the market for towability in a small package, we would pick it again. While the interior finishes are not high end (but definitely not the cheapest quality of materials) - neither was the price. My biggest complaint on the interior would be the quality of the flooring used. It's soft. We use alot of rugs and do a floor sweep and vacuum before moving the slideout in and out. Love the bathroom in this unit and the interior storage is over the top for a small unit. So many closets and drawers in this baby! The RV industry over-all is a nightmare right now, especially in the PNW. Not enough locations available to do warranty work and it's months before getting in. We had a roof leak issue and a failing Hill Assist and Cruise control (Ford) . Both Ford and Thor dealers are hard to get in to. We have done some upgrades on it and expected to. But alot cheaper route than buying a pricier brand. Yes - you can get more in an RV, but it will be bigger and way more expensive. Thor hit the mark on providing a small roomy interior RV that can tow for a reasonable budget.

I purposely put 2200 miles before I had the work done. It handles 1000 percent better. Money well spent. I have also had Lithium Batteries installed and an Easy start on the AC. A regular 20 Amp house circuit allows me to run the AC. I love the amount of exterior storage also. I have found room for 19 fishing rods plus a lot of tackle. Grandpa Jack

THEY PUT THE BODY RIGHT OVER EVERYTHING IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT LIKE THE FUSE BOX, ABS MODULE, BATTERIES... IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO DIAGNOSE OR REPAIR ANYTHING ELECTRICAL. YOU CANT EVEN GET TO THE COOLANT BOTTLE TO ADD COOLANT. THE ADD ON HARNESSES AND HOSES ARE JUST LAYING EVERYWHERE UNSECURED. I CANT SPEAK TO THE LIVABILITY OF THE INTERIOR STUFF BUT THE BUILD IS A CLOWN SHOW. THOR REALLY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THIS PRODUCT DESIGN AND QUALITY OF BUILD. OUR DEALER IS CONSIDERING TURNING AWAY ANY THOR AXIS MODELS THAT CALL FOR APPTS DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF TIME WE WASTE TRYING TO REPAIR THEM WITH NO ACCESS TO MOST OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AREA.

Size and style are perfect and drives nice. However, we have had this less than a year and have taken about 6 weekend trips and there are more things in this coach that don't work than do work. From mechanical things like the water pump and air conditioner to cosmetic things like the cabinets warping and falling apart already...I could go on and on. But my biggest complaint is the complete lack of concern and response from Thor. Emails go unanswered and when they are answered the answer is basically tough luck and too bad. To schedule service at a Thor authorized dealer they directed me to has appointments available 3-4 months out and once you get an appointment they will only address 3 warranty issues. I was told "pick your top 3 issues for us to address". When I called Thor to explain I have way more than 3 issues, they said tough you'll just have to schedule another appointment 3-4 months away and get the next three issues. Simple math tells me if I am getting more than 3 issues every couple of months with this coach and can get 3 issues addressed every 3-4 months I'll never catch up (especially before my warranty runs out, which is probably what they want to happen). I was given another option to take my coach to a non-Thor dealer and get an estimate and send it in to get approved. The first person I reached out to said "sorry I won't even give an estimate for work related to Thor, they are a nightmare to work with." Buyer beware, Thor doesn't give two cents about you or their product.

Too many things to list, Don't buy until the labor force is back with qualified employees. Electrical problems, trim problems, slide problems, plumbing problems, dash radio/ back up camera problems, A/C problems, windshield problems, etc. Met many other owners with windshield problems. Windshield is very expensive and some owners still have leaks after many repairs and now not warranted I have been told. Was able to take one trip, in the shop ever since. Try to find the oil dip stick and filler tube or the truck battery. Very few Ford dealers will work on the coach. On my trip I stopped at 9 dealers until the last one agreed to check out the cruise control problem and fixed it. I would give Thor a big failure for quality. Warranty process is impossible and very time consuming. It is really a shame because the Axis/Vegas is a super design and size. I have owned app. 8 different RV's over the last 50 years so I am not new at this. Kevin

We bought our Thor Motor Coach Axis 24.1 RUV new from Lazydays right before nothing was available and now there is a waiting list. We feel very fortunate to have this home on wheels. Everything we need for traveling across the country and back very comfortably. The drivers and passenger seats are more comfortable than our car seats and I love the pull out desk for my laptop. As my husband drives I'm using my laptop! Plenty of storage and being a smaller MH it's easy to keep clean. I love the color and finishes. My husband finds it very easy to drive and has enjoyed driving from the mountains to the dessert. We've stayed cool enough with the dash AC while driving. We were a bit concerned since the front window is so large we thought we might have trouble staying cool in high temps, it wasn't a problem at all, if anything, sometimes it was too cold. And it's easy to get the coach cooled down even while driving with the on board generator running the house AC. We have also stayed warm with the furnace when the temps have been below freezing. This MH takes good care of us.

This is a perfect RV for a couple with a pet for long duration trips. The three TV’s and the propane quick connect make it very easy to live comfortably. We did most of our cooking outside. The AC is excellent. My only beef is the grey water / black water hose hookup port. It’s pretty low, so you have to pay attention to the height location of the dump port.
