This our second Thor Ace and we loved our first one. We immediately went back for another after ours was stolen from storage last November. We recommended Thor to friends who just purchased. They’re so unhappy. Problem after problem. We took our first trip with ours and found our heat didn’t work in Yellowstone. Our water pump also didn’t work! We’ve had a captains chair broke since purchase in January. It’s now The end of June! What tops it all is to call customer service and reach the rudest person! Do not buy Thor!!! Show less

The Thor ace rv is a great ride. I had no problems with camper. There is a great deal of storage. And driving was great. Towing a car no problems. I had internet and cable that worked anywhere we were. Overall a nice RV Show less

My ABS warning light comes on no matter what road or conditions. Once on, it will never go off while driving. The effect of the ABS malfunction is that I have never been able to use my cruise control for more than about 10 minutes at a time (ABS comes on, Cruise Control goes off). The recommended Repair Center in OKC had it for 10 days. They said they could not replicate the issue. I left, went ten miles and the same thing happened. I have had this RV 7 months. During that time, it's been in various shops roughly six weeks, almost 25% of the time. Imagine driving 8 hours while constantly pressing the gas pedal. That's me. Thor told me it's not their problem - I have to call Ford. Ford told me I could take it back to the same Repair Center (but they are backed up three weeks) or I can take it to Dallas. So, if I want this fixed, I have to drive three hours to Dallas, drop it off for another week or two in a shop, and have someone follow me so that I have a way to get home. There needs to be a big collective consumer protection action. These builders and dealers can and should do better. Show less

This unit seemed ok at first! What a nightmare. I was installing drag bars under the rear bumper and water starts leaking out of the hot water tank! It's only two (2) weeks old. The drawer latch breaks at the dining table, there is a gap in the entry door (whistling sound as you drive). There is debris inside the water tank area, like nobody can use a vacuum to clean up after construction! What else is gonna break on this HEAP?? I've already had to cancel a trip because Camping World needs to look at unit before we can use it? Show less

We are happy with the motorhome. The layout is great- perfect for my wife and I. There have been several quality issues, most of which I've repaired myself. We recently discovered that the front thermostat was bad and the local thor dealer would not look at it because it was purchased in Florida.I called Thor customer service and was told to get an estimate and call them back. I did,and faxed the $171 estimate to Thor customer service will not pay for the repair.The coach is 5 months old and under warranty. This is my 2nd and very LAST Thor product.
