our trailer is a 2021 only three years old and we have experience trimmings falling off the walls the hot water tank leaking the furnace and heat goes on and off sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t -same with the air conditioner. Most recently my aunt slipped and fell, and the whole island fell over and the countertop broke. This trailer is so poorly and cheaply put together. I would not recommend it, and I will never buy another one. When I wrote a bad review, someone from Forest River had the nerve to call me and insinuate about the hot water tank that we may not have winterize it correctly instead of saying, what can we do to make this better poor Customer Service poor quality trailer never again in life

This tv has been a nightmare. Poor quality, the first year it spent 5 months at the dealer for repairs. The front has been sealed 3 times, twice by the dealer and once finally by family to remove three layers of caulk. It.s not a camper to be pulled hard or long distance. On the way home, the bathroom shelf fell off. At the 4 year mark the strap holding the fresh water tank broke: tanks were empty at the time. The bath room counter trim is shrinking and pulling off in the curve. The outside outlet has stopped working after a year. The only positive is the easy setup and dual axel with no slides that I wanted for convenience .

Propane regulator shit out after a couple months now the furnace won’t stay running. Shower leaks the plugs they uses to hold the shower walls to the actual walls only go into paneling. Half the paneling is only half assed stampeded to the walls and bows out everywhere. Do yourself a favor and don’t even bother looking at one of these

When we bought this camper in August, we did not open the awning because we were in the dealership. When we went camping, we found that the awning hangs on the slide out. The lights across the side of the camper are blocked by the awning laying on the slide out. Tracer gave us no customer support and said that was a factory design. I call that a factory design flaw! Tracer/Forest River said it was made that way and we have no recourse. Now we are stuck with an awning that will probably wear out sooner than later, because of the weight of water on it will hang on the corners of the slide out. Also, it drives horrible! It sways terribly even with an anti sway hitch and water in the tank as a ballast! The finishes were not complete. When we took it back for warranty work, the slide out had already started breaking, the refrigerator had to be repaired and the shower was leaking and, oh, did I mention that the awning hangs on the slide out? This is our fourth camper. It is the absolute worst camper we have ever seen or owned! I do not recommend anyone buy this camper!!!

Here we have a 37’, a front bedroom, but, wait, no room for a queen size bed, only the short queen; kitchen lights over the sink where you have to walk all the way to the panel to turn off; the crappiest cheap fan in the bathroom; absolutely no outlets in the main living room slideout; an outdated soundbar; only one(!) a/c vent in the bedroom, making the noisiest secondary a/c unit you ever heard a necessity; useless tiny bathroom sink; cheap(extra cheap) faucets; my 2018 rv had frameless windows, nope not on this 2021; no rear ladder for rooftop access(unless you spend$$); cable and sewer connections placed so as to require extensions; a kitchen with a beautiful cooktop, but no oven(a microwave only is standard, even though every ad shows a convection oven; outlets placed to be in the most inconvenient spot possible.

The quality on the Tracer is not good at all. When I first brought it home I flushed the water out to insure I wouldn’t have any problems while camping. When I was draining the water I noticed that water was running out from under the shower pan. I opened up the access cut out on the bottom and discovered that the p-trap was not screwed in at all. So I tightened it up and was good to go. I had it for few months when I noticed that the awning was falling off. I took it into the dealership and they just screwed some lag bolts and called it good. Now the issue that I’m running into is that the plastics quickly crack with the sun and on one side has came off during a drive up to a camp site. The plastics that cover the screws have literally melted off and are no longer covering the screws as well. Some of the trim in the interior are now starting to fall off and the interior is just not withstanding well with time. The floor plan is very nice, although I would have switched the dinette with the couch for sleeping purposes, but it is very spacious and comfortable. I am very disappointed in the craftsmanship shop 100%. I will no longer purchase nor will I recommend a Forest River Tracer to anyone I know. It’s a shame that we pay our hard earned money to a company that just pushes out for quantity and not quality.

Loved the Lacrosse floorplans, so when we looked for a full-time living rv, we chose the bunk model, so we could turn the bunk room into an office/laundry/storage room. After spending some time in it, these are the glaring, poorly designed issues: 1.Seriously, a luxury rv that cannot fit a queen size bed? A short queen, yes, but I’m 6’3 and it’s just stupid design. 2. Seriously, go to the panel to turn off the over kitchen sink lights, then go back to the panel to turn off the lights? A switched light would make too much sense. 3. Seriously, you need to take the refer door off to remove the glass refer shelves. 4. No power anywhere on any of the 3 slideouts. 4. My 2018 had frameless windows, this has the sold old technology , trouble prone framed windows. 5. Very poorly designed, inefficient and noisy ducted roof a/c . Only one duct in the bedroom and one in the bunkroom. 6.no roof ladder. 7. All the water hose and tv cable connections are at the front of the rv, which means extensions for all those.

Spare yourself the trouble and don’t buy one of these. I’ve lived in it for about 7 months and it has been one thing after another. Now I understand this particular trailer may not really be meant for long term living, and most of them aren’t built with 5 star materials but I wonder if whoever designed this really put any thought into it at all. Let’s start from the outside. Under the trailer near the rear wheels there is just a giant hole that leads into all the wires and water lines underneath the trailer, perfect for rodents to get into all of your cabinets where there is water lines and/or cords running through to the bottom of the trailer. Which in this model just so happens to be all of them. Horrible design flaw. We had rats, and then after the rats came mice. Most of the areas are impossible to access without tearing out panels so in order to clean the feces they left behind you’re going to have to tear everything apart. All of this could have been avoided if the trailer designer didn’t leave a huge hole in the bottom of the outside. Somehow the rodents even made their way into the storage area under the bed, on the complete other side of the trailer. Don’t ask me how, couldn’t tell ya. A few of the windows leak when it rains as well as the window in the front door, easy fixes but still annoying. Moving to the bathroom, my least favorite of the entire build. It is functional, but very very tiny. The doorway from the kitchen area into the bathroom is so narrow, I am a small woman and I have to tuck my arms or I’ll whack into the doorknob or door frame, and then when the door is open you can’t access the toilet or shower without closing it unless you’re maybe 3 years old. I feel like they should have added a pocket door there. Not the end of the world if you’re just going on a weekend trip but annoying if you plan to be in it long term. The shower, oh the shower. It is two pieces, the tub and then the piece that wraps around the walls. But whoever installed it or whatever did it so poorly that the crack between the two pieces is wider on one end of the shower and impossible to clean on the other. Water gets in there obviously and who knows how much moisture and mold is back there. I’m not down for an entire RV bathroom remodel right now so out of sight out of mind for me. But I know how mold works. The floor around the shower is not sealed where it meets the cardboard like walls. So obviously water gets there, soaks right up into the wall piece and is mold city. It is however sealed around the bathroom sink, so I’m not sure why they skipped doing the floor. Easy enough to do yourself I suppose. Ample cabinet space in the bathroom at least but the one under the sink has been tainted by the rodents. Only a few months into living in this trailer half of the outlets just stopped working. Only 3 in the entire unit work now. Still have yet to find out why that happened. The electric water heater has recently started to trip the breaker every time it’s used, I don’t really trust the wiring in this thing to use it at all anymore until an electrician looks at everything. So be ready to just replace that after only a few months of use. The gas heater seems to work, but again, it seems sketchy to me. Call me paranoid but I don’t want to risk it. Not trying to start a fire! All in all, I would not recommend this trailer if you want to use it long term.
