We bought this RV as a non-current model from our local dealers existing stock. We love the layout and find the quality of the build high compared to other brands that we looked at. We had some issues with the glass shower door track leaking, this was a common issue with this type of door and was quickly resolved by our dealer. Part of the issue was related to having the trailer spot on level due to the east west shower layout. Speaking of the shower, this is one of the features we love about the Solaire line, nice big showers with a seat. We love the outdoor fridge and induction cooktop with a nice size counter included. We had an issue with the TV and the power antennae the first time we used the trailer, the TV was replaced, and the antennae issue resolved by our dealer with no issue. We are currently working with our dealer on trading up to the 258RBSS because we have moved up in canine size and need a little more room. I feel a lot of the support issues that are written about are dealer related, we have had great support from our local dealer and are not hesitant at all to buy this brand again. Show less

Worked great for all my needs, very spacious. It's perfect for long stays, especially with the washer/dryer connections. I can actually stand up in the shower and have room to move. The electric fireplace was perfect for cold nights and the sound system was perfect for those summer nights. Show less

When I purchased my camper I searched many models and this one caught my eye. This is my first camer,I really like the camper very much. Ordered it at RV wholesalers in Lakeview, Ohio. They were very nice courteous and the order process was painless. The salesman helped me a lot and I got some good opinions at a good price. build quality is good to an extent, The builders took no pride in their work. Leaving sawdust wires, screws, and even the metal plate that they cut out to make the vet opening,in the vet. My outside outlet does not work. That was my fault when I picked up the camper. I should have checked it. I got the trailer in 2021 now it is 2023. I haven't had any major problems with this camper. I would recommend this brand to another as well as the r v dealership. We have owned our puma palomino since July 16th of this year and we now have had so many issues it’s crazy !!! Started with the skylights leaking paid 400 for immediate service called Forrest river to ask who to send the invoice to got zero positive response. This was only after campers inn told us to send it to them and they will submit it to Forrest river!! Our camper door was so tight on the hinges it was nearly impossible to freely open and close the door. I then pulled all hinge screws one by one and adjusted them. This did very little then I noticed how tightly wrapped the pressed steel hinges were on the hinge pins, after noticing this and it taking me well over and hour to dissect this issue and tons of WD40 and a modified screwdriver to pin inside the hinges and more or less pry them open to get the door freely moving other wise it was about to rip right out of the door frame. Now last night I put waters into my outside kitchen fridge and it was hot and freezer was melting!! We now have done a fair bit of research and also being way under informed over the heat issues it may take on while being in Florida the fridge over heated and crapped out on us now another 160 to 200$ out of pocket expense !!! FUCKEN GREAT !!! Finally there are five people in my family and after I night of showers we noticed a massive amount of water pouring out of the bathroom and tried to figure out where it was coming from, after tons of digging and searching the tub and tub surround and under the surround plumbing I noticed the caulking was peeling off the base of the surround so badly. This is where the crazy leaking was coming from!! I did more trouble shooting sealed the bases to the walls and leaked kept happening, more trouble shooting took place and had to be done in the dark to see clearly while using a high powered flash light to see the areas and see possible crack and voids only to notice many more on the shower door area along where it was fastened to the shower stall Base. It was leaking everywhere so finally I caulked the entire door area near the base and found many leaking cracks. Once I got all the cracks sealed the leaked stopped!!! Almost forgot we hooked up the water on the site and my bathroom sink was also leaking and we have very little water pressure where we are staying. Have yet to trouble shoot this issue as there is so much stuff to move and take faucet off ! THIS IS A BRAND NEW 2023 CAMPER PUMA PALOMINO MADE BY FORREST RIVER and we’re not satisfied one bit over this or these added cost and I highly doubt based off of our first encounter with this company on the phone we will continue to spend money when this stuff should by all means be covered under warranty !!! We have used this camper for 2 weeks and have had this many failures and I’m scared shit as to what could possibly go wrong next !!!!! Show less

My wife and I bought it because of my job. The livability is good and we are happy with it BUT, the quality of material of some parts is terrible; the mattress is awful, (two layers of foam). the first day I used the awning it broke down, I took it to be fixed and the dealer said it wasn't covered by the warranty (even the extended warranty). The shelves of the cabinet under the sink are falling apart. I had to nail the side of my bed because it came off. The lock of the main door is broken already. I bought this travel trailer on June 7 2023 (less than two months now), it doesn't make any sense it has so many problems for the amount of money we have paid for it. Show less

Absolutely LOVE this trailer! By far the best floorplan and overall features among campers in this price range. What I love the most: The front kitchen with the huge window and lots of counter space, pantry, shower with headroom for someone tall, king bed and bedroom with lots of storage, TV is located directly across from recliners, ample bathroom storage, floor to ceiling window in hallway. Overall it's just a really beautiful trailer at a bargain compared to similar units! Show less

This is the fifth travel trailer that we have owned, I'm 70 years of age and I must tell you we are so upset with this trailer, our last trailer was a Keystone product, we had it sixteen years. M e my wife and I decided to up date , this trailer has everything we liked, and belive me we did our research , but I guess that didnt help, we bought this from one of the largest RV dealers in USA, no names but ((( CW )) ) was our choice to satisfy our needs, what a mistake, Between the manufacture and dealer we have lost our faith in the American dream, between the both of them all them are thieves. After they have your signature and money neither one will take responsability for the junk theypetal. This trailer leaks on both slides, noisy refrigerator, squeaky floors, bowed front door, tongue jack had to be replaced, This trailer has been up to.... no names ( CW) nine times now for the leaks in the slidouts. We have had this trailer eleven and a half month now ( CW) has had it as of today for a total 227 days trying to fix the trailers problems, and guess where it at right now , yep back up in CW trying to still fix the problems, we have used the trailer fourteen days out of the onehundred and ten days we have had it in our possession the rest of the time CW has had it , We now have two weeks left on our warranty and have not really had the time to find out what else this trailer has wrong with it. It's a good thing we have the extended warranty although it does not cover everything so in short forest river nor CW will take the responsabilty to refund our money so we can move on in our life , and the sad thing is that here in Iowa there are no lemon laws to protect the common hard working people against these thieves in the RV industry. They can keep building junk and selling it and taking your money and running with it. We tried trading it in and would loose everything we put down on it. So we got taken advantaged of twice. Water heater failed twice, once during warranty period, once after. Shower dome leaked from screws being over tightened in all four corners after warrantee. Water intake manifold leaked & had to be replaced..no water for three weeks was a major inconvenience. Now the shower drain & outdoor sink piping are leaking. Please take some pride in your work. We paid $55k for a huge headache. Show less

This was our first camper we bought new with kids. It’s not a living camper if you look at high end campers. We loved the big open living area as we mainly used it for weekends at the lake or a week. We never had the first issue out of this camper for 6 years of owner ship. Everything always worked as it should trusted everything about it. We sold because looking into higher end couples camper. It was easy to use camper not much on it to malfunction. It looked and functions as new when we sold it Show less

We searched for the perfect travel trailer for several years, and, this was the perfect unit! Spacious kitchen located in the front of the rv, offering lots of counter space. Full size refrigerator/freezer. The large window in the kitchen allows you to view beautiful scenery, while making a meal. The bedroom is in the rear with its own slide-out. This offers plenty of head room and space. Great for people that are tall, or, are claustrophobic. Plenty of privacy, as there is a separate door from the bedroom to the bathroom/shower. Also, your own entrance/exit door off of the bedroom outdoors. Lots of closet, drawer, and storage space throughout. Tv is located directly in front of dual recliners, so, you aren’t watching at an angle. Nice outdoor kitchen with an awning that covers dual entrance/exit doors. Screens on the doors offer a pass through for handing utensils/supplies to the person cooking outdoors. Towing is a breeze. We have a Chevy 1500 Silverado that pulls it just fine, even with all of our gear. We think it was designed well. Show less
