This fifth wheel has been phenomenal for me! Very high quality, real wood interior with linoleum floor. The craftsmanship is exceptional and has withstood the test of time. Appliances are residential size as well with a full sized kitchen, not the smaller fridges/ovens/microwaves you find in most models. This is great for living in for extended periods. The living room with slides out is ample space, I've even placed a 5ft Christmas tree inside for the holidays! My wife and I have created a lifetime of memories in this trailer and unfortunately have to get rid of it because of life style changes. The bedroom has extreme amounts of storage for a full his/hers wardrobe. There's a 10 gallon water heater compared to the average 6 gallon heater, lots of hot water for normal showers and doing dishes, never worry about running into cold water while showering again! We mounted a TV in the outside storage for outside grilling and viewing. The TV and wall mounts come with the trailer! Make an offer today! The price is very negotiable, schedule a tour today!

We bought this RV as a non-current model from our local dealers existing stock. We love the layout and find the quality of the build high compared to other brands that we looked at. We had some issues with the glass shower door track leaking, this was a common issue with this type of door and was quickly resolved by our dealer. Part of the issue was related to having the trailer spot on level due to the east west shower layout. Speaking of the shower, this is one of the features we love about the Solaire line, nice big showers with a seat. We love the outdoor fridge and induction cooktop with a nice size counter included. We had an issue with the TV and the power antennae the first time we used the trailer, the TV was replaced, and the antennae issue resolved by our dealer with no issue. We are currently working with our dealer on trading up to the 258RBSS because we have moved up in canine size and need a little more room. I feel a lot of the support issues that are written about are dealer related, we have had great support from our local dealer and are not hesitant at all to buy this brand again.

Now 3rd review after 3 months. Forest River products continue to be piece junk/crap. Storage cabinets completely fell upon itself destroying cabinets.. had to rip out and replaced with open shelves. Sitting area completely collapsed.. removed totally and rebuilt. No longer table( which was completely useless anyways) Now rebuilt into day bed area only.. no more tabletop couldnā€™t sit in it anywaysā€¦ completely rediculous .. maxx fan stopped workingā€¦ 2 of the 4 jacks that go to ground donā€™t work. Just waiting for top jacks to fail ( which would render camper useless ) when that happens off to dump it goes after just 3 months of use!!! Forest River you guys suck and really bad!!! Selling completely junk campers and I have no recourse to get it right. Just donā€™t do it people seriously!! Take note from all these reviews to avoid like the plague !! We should join together for lawsuit against ForestRiver for this abomination of aā€ camperā€ . Completely mislead and scammed out of 22 grand.. canā€™t even resell at any price itā€™s that bad. Just donā€™t do it people seriously and I kid you not!!! DONā€™T DO ITā€¦!! Complete waist of hard earned money/ my time/and the money spent trying to shore up and fix this piece of ā€œ engineered ā€œ junk. Yeah use the word cautiously.. complete piece of crap worthy of the dump ( and sorry for the dump!!) YES itā€™s that bad!!!

When I purchased my camper I searched many models and this one caught my eye. This is my first camer,I really like the camper very much. Ordered it at RV wholesalers in Lakeview, Ohio. They were very nice courteous and the order process was painless. The salesman helped me a lot and I got some good opinions at a good price. build quality is good to an extent, The builders took no pride in their work. Leaving sawdust wires, screws, and even the metal plate that they cut out to make the vet opening,in the vet. My outside outlet does not work. That was my fault when I picked up the camper. I should have checked it. I got the trailer in 2021 now it is 2023. I haven't had any major problems with this camper. I would recommend this brand to another as well as the r v dealership. RV Wholesalers in Lakeview Ohio.

We have owned our puma palomino since July 16th of this year and we now have had so many issues itā€™s crazy !!! Started with the skylights leaking paid 400 for immediate service called Forrest river to ask who to send the invoice to got zero positive response. This was only after campers inn told us to send it to them and they will submit it to Forrest river!! Our camper door was so tight on the hinges it was nearly impossible to freely open and close the door. I then pulled all hinge screws one by one and adjusted them. This did very little then I noticed how tightly wrapped the pressed steel hinges were on the hinge pins, after noticing this and it taking me well over and hour to dissect this issue and tons of WD40 and a modified screwdriver to pin inside the hinges and more or less pry them open to get the door freely moving other wise it was about to rip right out of the door frame. Now last night I put waters into my outside kitchen fridge and it was hot and freezer was melting!! We now have done a fair bit of research and also being way under informed over the heat issues it may take on while being in Florida the fridge over heated and crapped out on us now another 160 to 200$ out of pocket expense !!! FUCKEN GREAT !!! Finally there are five people in my family and after I night of showers we noticed a massive amount of water pouring out of the bathroom and tried to figure out where it was coming from, after tons of digging and searching the tub and tub surround and under the surround plumbing I noticed the caulking was peeling off the base of the surround so badly. This is where the crazy leaking was coming from!! I did more trouble shooting sealed the bases to the walls and leaked kept happening, more trouble shooting took place and had to be done in the dark to see clearly while using a high powered flash light to see the areas and see possible crack and voids only to notice many more on the shower door area along where it was fastened to the shower stall Base. It was leaking everywhere so finally I caulked the entire door area near the base and found many leaking cracks. Once I got all the cracks sealed the leaked stopped!!! Almost forgot we hooked up the water on the site and my bathroom sink was also leaking and we have very little water pressure where we are staying. Have yet to trouble shoot this issue as there is so much stuff to move and take faucet off ! THIS IS A BRAND NEW 2023 CAMPER PUMA PALOMINO MADE BY FORREST RIVER and weā€™re not satisfied one bit over this or these added cost and I highly doubt based off of our first encounter with this company on the phone we will continue to spend money when this stuff should by all means be covered under warranty !!! We have used this camper for 2 weeks and have had this many failures and Iā€™m scared shit as to what could possibly go wrong next !!!!!

Two cabinet doors fell apart. No glue. Fixed them myself. Doors not level, rubbing on one corner. Yellow putty marks all over the white ceiling. Now the toilet water won't stop running when flushed but I'm told that's my problem because my warranty is over. My first trailer didn't turn out to be a good experience. Will never buy another forest river trailer.

To continue on will my scathing review of the piece of junk called Palomino 1251 backpack edition. 1 day later after 1st review.. yes itā€™s raining and guess where water is pouring in?? Yep you guessed it.. directly above the bed from maxx air fan.. the supposed ā€œ engineering ā€œ geniuses ( used mockingly) put 4 small screws in attachment of fan.. needs 18 screws!!! To save probably 25 cents. What a cheap piece of crap Forest River!! Once again this is a brand new never used truck camper.. sooooo many problems sooooo little time and space to write about them all. Horrible job Forest Riverā€¦ you should be sued for fraud!!! Forest River ā€¦the rip-off company of the USA. People wonder why I should buy American?? This is reason NOT to buy cheap junky poor engineered productā€¦ belly up is you should go by deceiving the general public with your terrible products, poor designs and outright lies you press upon the buying public. Your products are garbage to be nice. Anyways for sale 2022 Palomino 1251 backpack edition camperā€¦. CHEAPā€¦ ( no pun intended!!)

Wow where to start on this complete piece of garbage the Palomino 1251 backpacker edition. Let me get this rightā€¦ in order to drain water on bathroom floor you must empty the black water tank..?? You got to be kidding me. Major problem so much for using the shower!!! Absolute horribleā€ engineering ā€œ. Speaking of horrible ā€œ engineering ā€œ the bathroom door is 1.5ā€ shy of completely opening upā€¦ same with refridge door.. 1.5ā€ shy of opening up!!! Another major problem. No magnetic on extremely limited storage. Yourā€ engineers ā€œ missed numerous spots for some extra storage.. like under the sink area.. hodgepodge of wires laying about.. probably 1 ft of storage not utilized . Blackout shade curtains?? Another huge jokeā€¦ no way to secure curtain in wind . So much for privacy/sun shade. Or when raining!!Complete joke!! Fan blows one way and thatā€™s out.. great engineering!!propane tank you have to be Houdini to get it out.. again just inches too small. Kitchen window does not open!! I paid 23,000$ for a piece of junk . I donā€™t consider this cheap by any means but thatā€™s what I got.. a Forest River piece of junk!!! I read all the negative comments( and there are many MANY ) I didnā€™t listen and ignored themā€¦. My fault and now Iā€™m paying the price for dropping big cash on piece of utter junk of a camper. Donā€™t do what I did!! Donā€™t purchase this poorly ā€œengineered ā€œ piece of crap. The inside is so cheaply made ( 1/8 sawdust ā€œboardā€) that you canā€™t secure anything.. the ā€œboard ā€œ just crumbles to sawdust when trying to repair anything. running out of space and time to tell all the problems. AND Iā€™ve only had camper less than a week.. Many more problems to come..I feel like burning it to the ground, thatā€™s how big these problems are.
