Beautiful RV with a lot of floor space for our big dogs. Loved the arched roof and the 4 season capability. The layout was designed by someone who had spent a lot of time camping as it is very livable. A boondocking dream. The camper is very heavy we used a 1 ton dually to handle the load. Extra equipment is needed on the truck to manage the sway on uneven or crowned roads. Loved the big 2 way fridge and all of the electrical and power stations. The Onan generator is loud and some newer models have replaced with a quieter model. Show less

Recently purchased a Northwood 235 RLS Fox Mountain. Was sold as a "true 4 season" unit. We have been living in it full time in Helena Montana where the temps got down to -38! Stayed a comfortable 70 degrees inside with no issues whatsoever. Very impressed with the build quality, livability, comfort. I really can't say enough about this unit. This fifth wheel is easy to tow. The links makes it manageable. It has plenty of storage space with easy access. The slide out in the living room dining room area makes working n the kitchen comfortable. underneath a queen size bed you will find plenty of storage for things that you will need to take along on your trip. This RV has great insulation, which helps with heating and cooling. Equipped with an RV airflow system helps in keeping the air conditioner distributing air, evenly and efficiently. Show less

This is our second Arctic Fox fifth wheel in 16 years of full-time RVing. We are loyal to this brands for many reasons, including: - All-season liveability - Durable construction - Excellent layout and storage - All-terrain drivability This one is a RARE model, Northwood only made this 27-5B bunkhouse model for a couple of years. We found it's awesome for living and working on the road as we do. Inside the slide-out is an office/workstation with storage, and in the bunkhouse there is a workbench/desk. Both furniture configurations can easily be removed to bring it back to stock, for those lucky RVers who are beyond working age. The only reason we are selling it is because we moving to Alaska and taking a truck camper with us. When we return in a year, we will purchase another Arctic Fox. There's no other brand on the market as well-built or worth the money in our opinion. I bought this Unit new and looked forward to all season RVing. Previously I RV'd in a Northern Lite that served us very well but climbing in/out of the bunk got to be a real challenge at 3 AM thus the move to Artic Fox. After a year we've found the ceiling light lenses vibrate lose and fall to the floor, but my biggest complaint is the Propane Locker...it takes an average of 30 minutes to put refilled propane tanks in the locker and get the door to close. The propane locker is too tight for the tanks to fit properly. When you attempt to close the door the latch on the door hits the tank and won't latch. The locker is poorly engineered causing a safety concern if the latch fails during an emergency stop or a quick maneuver to avoid a hazard. Show less

If you looking for the best all around fifth wheel, for a couple, this is it. Looking at construction and overall livability, it's hard to beat. As for being a 4 season camper, it's up there, if not the best in class. Floor plan makes it roomy, with high ceilings, and has a walk around bed. Storage capacity has never been an issue. Driving it is simple due to size and the custom built frame and suspension. It's under 30 feet and can get into just about every private, state, and national park campsite. We have dry camped in this for 5 days, using the shower daily, without issue. It took us a year to purchase it as we compared it to the competition and Arctic Fox has kept it's design virtually the same since its inception. Many competitors have copied the floor plan, but not the quality of the product. Definitely a great, long term investment in RV camping. Show less

Well built and we have had very good reliability with this 5th wheel, we have owned it for over 7 years and traveled many miles with this rig, it has a very livable floor-plan and lots of storage. Never had any issues with it. Show less

I like everything about this 992 truck camper except the entrance to the bed isn't great for older people! It is good quality and has everything a larger rv has just in tighter quarters! Great to get off road with to stay in more out of the way areas! Show less

The 28F tows terrible, it has terrible sway. I tow with a 1 ton truck and this is the worst towing trailer i have ever had. Please note i have owned at least 8 rv's and been towing for over 25 years. The fan in the bathroom cannot be reached without a stool. The shower floor in the bathroom had so much flex in it it leaked and had to be sent back for a new floor with more supports added. The plumbing under the sink in the bathroom was a mess where it goes through the floor and should have been sealed better. The wires at the hitch were not strapped up and protected properly and had to be fixed. I could live with this if it towed better. Its now for sale. Show less

2021 Arctic Fox slide out box not square. Northwood MFG in bad faith won’t take care of it. Being out of square the gearbox and rails Slowly grind down. Making impossible to seal when open. The One year warranty is a SCAM. If you Only use RV 3/4 weeks a year unaware of the slow grinding damage caused by out of square box and will be continuing problem no matter how often I replace gears. Using slide out in 4 weeks, that’s only 16 times of bring slide out in and back out. Really sad for American made product. Northwood would rather gaslight you then take responsibility. Many of the other issues with the 5th wheel we repaired ourselves including, plumbing, wiring, and bubbling floors Show less
