I really think getting a portable ac and tent would have been easier. Firstly, not sure if it was them or dealer but we took it in to have things repaired on warranty, dealer told us they were all declined by manufacturer. Luckily, at the time Nexus was the same distance from me, went there and they fixed mostly everything. Now current day if we sit in the cab while it’s raining we get to shower for free. The dash lights up like a Christmas tree while we drive. Took that to Ford and they said it’s not covered by vehicle warranty due to the issue being cause by the rv side being improperly built on a wiring harness. I really wanted to love this RV, but man if it wasn’t ever a big mistake. Now we’re stuck here trying to fix all of the issues in Texas since we’ve had a permanent change of station down here. Wish me luck!

Probably one of the worst RVs on the market for workmanship.
Purchased new from a dealership in Texas based on all the great reviews I had read. Biggest mistake!
Right after I picked it up, got half way across Texas and the storage cabinet above the master bed collapsed due to not enough bolts (3 total) holding it up. Got worse from there.
Washer dryer stopped working. Electrical system stopped working. Drawers fell off their tracks. Paneling split. Wires chafed and shorted. Generator stopped working. Slide-out panel buckled.
If you are thinking about buying a Nexus - don't. In the last 150 days, mine has been in the shop for 130 days. My RV qualifies under most state's Lemon Laws for double the minimum amount of time needed to qualify.
I've contacted an attorney and this is going to court.

The poorest quality and workmanship I have ever had. Only took unit out 3 times as it sat in shop all summer. Engine light came on only for Ford to find screws were drilled in top of gas tank. Ford FOUGHT to get Nexus to pay. Next on the hottest days of summer AC quit working. Had to come home. We brought back to dealer only to have them report 5 major things wrong with air. They completely rewired it. Wasn’t even in ducts, freeze switch never installed into evap coils. Slide out ruined flooring when brought in besides cables out of time. Nexus knows what they are doing. Stall tactics used until they can claim 1 year warranty up. The unit sat at Ford dealership and RV dealer all summer. Guess who got stuck with repair bill on AC and expensive slide out problems on errors CLEARLY made at factory. RUN!!!!

I originally reviewed my new RV upon purchase when we were sent home with an RV that A/C was not connected, broken screen, and missing door closures from General RV in Tampa. The concierge assigned to us on purchase changes multiple times with no call backs even from the service manager. Dave, owner of Nexus put me in touch with his Director of Service when our paint started peeling. She originally said she would cover it. We are still awaiting approval for paint

So, what do you get when you purchase a NEW NeXus Class C unit for over $100K? Problems!! After waiting almost five weeks for them to ship the generator...our FIRST trip included a leaky water pump, a slide-out that ripped the flooring, wallpaper that was lifting, warning lights that stayed on the entire trip, and an outside storage door that fell off. Even better...on our second trip, the back window shattered while driving. Coincidence maybe?! All of this to say, we had planned a summer of camping that didn't happen. Since signing the contract in April, we have used our RV for seven days in the past five months. Note...we are still waiting for NeXus to address the damaged flooring. It's a beautiful model with a lot of problems and poor customer service from the manufacturer. If you plan to purchase a Class C RV our advice would be to buy one you get to use.

I love the pass through storage on this unit for larger items. We like a separate couch and dining table. This RV has a bunk over the cab. they don't provide a ladder or have place to hook one which makes ease of access a little difficult. There is a good size refrigerator and counter space. Cabinets are well made. Overall, like the size and options this RV provided. Upon driving RV home, we realized the A/C was not connected to the duct work so very disappointed with General RV on allowing us to leave. Nexus CEO was very responsible and received personal phone call with his cell phone to resolve issues. General RV got us back 2 weeks later and fixed a/c. I would recommend and buy another Nexus!
