The Newmar Mountain Aire is the 4th Class A diesel pusher we have owned in 20 years. We have been extremely disappointed as we have Ben able to take a three trips. The electrical system seized and we could not open any doors, we had to wait months for a part. We were not able to take only one trip in 2024 to the Seattle area and another to Ouray, Colorado. We had to cancel our trip to Glacier National Park in July 2025 because of mechanical issues. We had a trip arranged to South Carolina in October 2025. We get ready to leave and the batteries would not charge. When I voiced my concerns to Newmar about the amounts of repairs , I was told they have no department for or solution for a RV that had continual repairs. We were on our own. So much for the $700, 000 + we paid for an RN that the shower was connected wrong, the closet door tracks were off, passenger seat problems along with electrical, battery, etc. Problems. Newmar patted themselves on the back because they answered our calls. The issue is, we should have never had to had these repairs to begin with. It is tantamount to buying. House you can’t live in because the builder quality control was lacking and the your house was condemned or unlivable for the last 2 years you have owned. It.

New mar builds a great high quality product. We like that the overall length while towing our jeeps and toys is shorter. The turning radius is superior to our other coaches.

We are planning on purchasing same model and features as we have enjoyed with this coach, like bath and halve, 3 slide outs; Cummins diesel engine, Oasis heating , 4 TV’s including outdoor one, 3 quite roof mounted A/C units, silverleaf computer system, electric shades, etc.

Class A motorhome s Have owned 2 different Holiday Rambler Endeavor and Navigator 1Coachman chief, 1 overland Lexington, and Newmar Kountry Star 3353. I have worked on motothomes that all my family had for 40 years. I have to say Newmar freightliner chassis with the older Cummins engine is hands down the best of the best to own. I have never been to the factory service center but people I have spoke to people who have say they are amazing to work with. I have spoke to service people and parts people many times on the phone and they are the absolute best I have ever seen. They can pull up my coach which is a 2003 and tell me everything about it they even have had me talk to the suppliers they get material and parts from. If it's a question they're not sure of like (exact specifics of the door hinges rubber seals). I have to say I am more impressed with Newmar than any I have spoken to or owned in my 40 + years being around and working on motorhomes. The quality of Newmar on the diesel pushers it's top notch. I can get almost any part on this motorhome that is 20 years old in a few days or a week if it's a very rare part and they don't have stock. I don't not about thier gas coaches ( Bay Star and Canyon Star) but the diesel pushers are the top!

Once we put the 800watt (4) panels of solar on it dry camping was a breeze! The residential 3door fridge kept us in ice during our dry camping and the floor plan was comfortable and roomy with guests or the two of us. The standard size queen bed is very comfortable and the quality of the coach we found to be above average. Dealing the few times with NewMar has been pleasant and they have been helpful in resolving the small problems that one has owning a new coach. We have never done extended living in our coach but the Kountry Star can handle it beautifully as it has its own washer and dryer and a roomy shower with an adjustable sprayer.

The rest of the time it was parked outside and uncovered in the southern AZ desert. We purchased it in 2020 and spent about a year rehabbing. It is now in very good shape and a pleasure to drive and travel in. We are selling it only because we don't need something this large and would like to return to a 5th wheel.

Why do so many people complain and live in one of these which isn't design to be a 50 year home. So many of you don't maintain it as a home or a car but complain. It's just a recreational veh used to travel to some point ,stay in it like a motel room and then go back to your home and community that you are vested in. It's a vehicle not a permeate home. If you use it as a residence quit complaining that's not what is designed for or made for but you must spend time and money to maintain. if that's what you are doing..

I have a 2006 Newmar Kountry Star with the two separate windshields . I am having a big problem with both my windshields as they are popping out of the gasket as well as cracking. I have taken the RV to a truck collision company here in Calgary and they have determined that the windshield opening is no longer square . We are attempting to square and size the windshield opening as originally built however Newmar technical support will not provide this information to me . I would appreciate the following measurements to the nearest mm or 1/16” ; a) Atop the exterior windshield , the vertical distance from the inside edge of the gaskets where the two windshields meet in the middle . b) Atop the exterior windshield , the horizontal distance from the inside edge of the gasket on the passenger side to the inside edge of the gasket on the driver side , halfway up the windshield , inclusive of the curves . c) On the interior, the same measurement as b) but straight from side to side excluding the curves. Thx . Mike Donovan
