Keystone Sprinter Travel Trailer reviews

Where to start with this one? We bought the RV new to stay on property we have, so nothing wrong with it can be blamed on road travel. It is comfortable and we like the floor plan., but we've had one thing after another go wrong. Right off the bat, the entry door had to be slammed to close it. We tried adjustments, etc., and finally discovered the keyhole plate was too big and wasn't installed properly. Took that off, and it closes normally. Within the first 6 months, the converter went out (in the middle of a Texas summer) and had to be replaced. The original toilet leaked and after some research on our own, we found out it had been recalled. They did send us a new one, that was cheap to say the least, but we installed it, after we replaced the cheap flange in the floor that had cracked. We ended up replacing it with one we purchased ourselves. We've replaced the water pump twice. The kitchen faucet leaks. The water heater has never worked on electric, only propane. The propane regulator was recalled. We have 2 refrigerators and have had to replace both control boards. The sound bar quit working. The outside cable/satellite connection has never worked. The outdoor kitchen light quit working. The kitchen vent hood quit working. The latest issue is that the drain pipe under the shower broke, which we were unaware of, water built up under the trailer on top of the lining underneath, which eventually collapsed sending not so pleasant smelling stagnant , animal poop-filled water everywhere, which leads me to the worst part. I found giant holes in each end of the frame of the RV that allowed critters to crawl in and set up house on top of the covering underneath and use it as a superhighway to climb up into the trailer through the giant holes they left everywhere a water, electric or gas line had to come up into the trailer from below. It took a lot of work and a lot of Great Stuff, but I think I finally have all the inside holes filled and haven't had anymore mice inside. The workmanship on this trailer is pitiful and support is nil. They should be ashamed for selling such a mess. If I could leave 0 stars for overall quality and support, I would. Buyer beware. We plan to upgrade, but it won't be to a Keystone. Show less

This unit pulls wonderful ,The large front kitchen with the double fridge and freezer is great when preparing meals, the time we lived in it till we finished purchasing our home was very pleasant do to all the room ,large bath room and full shower Show less

I am so disappointed with the quality of this camper, no quality control! Here’s my list of problems. Water heater has an. element out, no rod or pull handle for the black water tank, stool seal leaks, door is in possibly hard to open, leak in the roof vent in the bathroom, water runs down the door from a crack in the awning rail, curtains not screwed down so they shut all the way, table wasn’t screwed to the floor. We are very happy with our choice of a Keystone Sprinter travel trailer. The floorplan was well designed and the overall quality was good. I was so excited to have a kitchen island, with additional storage and room for seating/serving. The second entrance directly into the bathroom was definitely a plus with kids. The sleeping areas in the bunkhouse were a bonus, and the privacy in the master bedroom with a solid door is much appreciated. Show less

Literally the worse camper I have ever had. traded my 2018 Shasta oasis in for this shit box. Wish I never did doors are hard to close screens don’t fit right shower leaks all over the floor. 40k for a pile shit. That’s just the beginning. Show less

I owned this trailer for two years and enjoyed every minute. Very easy to tow with stablizers and sway bar hookups. With the Extreme Thermal Package winter camping is very easy to do. Everything is completely operational and I highly recommend to fellow RVers..... Show less

Cheaply made, first week trim was coming off, winter package is a joke, floor is not glued down, squishie and floating when furnace is on,condensation is ridiculous, cheap appliances, table is slanted,cheap uncomfortable furniture, door latch doesn't lock right, outside hose connector doesn't fit right,fireplace doesn't put out much heat, can't step down amps without everything malfunctioning, toilet cracked first week, windows don't seal correctly, viewing window fills with water and ice from condensation. I will never spend this kind of money on a keystone again. Only thing I really like is the floor plan. Show less

This is a clean well cared for camper. The opposite slideouts make for a roomy living area. There are opposite sofas with full size aero beds. Sleeps 7 has a 3 burner stove with oven. One owner 34’ long Show less

This was a well maid camper and I could have lived in it. The cougar 29 RLD is the same plan as the sprinter 310kbs.The only difference is the sprinter was longer and had more drawers in the kitchen area.It had a bank of drawers between the stove and the sink cabinet.It also had a water closet for the toilet. They dont build these much like that anymore.The bed was a slide and you could walk around the bed with about 1 to 2 feet around each side. You could put a play pen in front of the bed , it was that big.The only con to this is the TV , size is limited to what you can put in either one but it is a great plan.The storage in the bedroom closet helps to save bulky items like chairs, fans ect. Our travel trailer has provided many wonderful family memories. My children enjoyed camping throughout the summer and now as young adults often reminisce about those memories. I would recommend anyone with a young family to start out with a small camper, possibly a pop up like we did and graduate over time to a larger one. It can be a lot of work to prepare for that camping trip. Show less
