BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! Do not purchase anything owned by thor which includes KZ. I purchased a new travel trailer in 2018 from KZ. I bought it to live in while traveling for work. Ac unit crapped out in under 30 days. Took another 30 days to get the dealership to replace. Didn't realize the dealership replaced it with a smaller unit until 3 months later. Just knew it wasn't cooling like it should. Called a mobile rv mechanic to check it out and he said it was too small for the square footage. Black water tank started leaking at 5 months. KZ customer service is a joke. Payed out of pocket to fix it. 1 side of fridge started having issues at 6 months. No help from KZ. Tank guages crapped out during same time period. Lots of little things I fixed or payed to have fixed. Fast forward to 3 years. While on the roof putting on a rv cover I bought, I noticed the roof bladder had several tears in it. Called KZ about it. They wanted pictures which I took and emailed to them. They asked when the last time I had the roof bladder serviced was. The minute I told them I had no clue that was a thing, no one ever told me that was something that needed done they said it voided any warranty due to lack of proper maintenance. Took my rv to a repair shop to get an estimate to fix the bladder. They said the tears were due to over stretching the rubber bladder from the factory. Apparently that's pretty common anymore. The factories cut them short to scrimp on material and have to overstretch to fit. Called KZ back and told them. They said it didn't matter, warranty was void due lack of maintenance. It cost me 8k out of pocket to replace the roof bladder. I now have a top of the line bladder with a 15 year warranty. No maintenance required. Long story short, DON'T BUY ANYTHING KZ OR MADE BY THOR. Show less

We chose this KZ Escape due to it's open floorplan. Two years later we are still discovering issues since buying it brand new in 2022. Plumbing around toilet and water tank had to be tightened to avoid leaking the first week. All window shades had to be reattached due to poor installation. The slide out has had multiple retraction issues. The motors have to be overridden and the slide out manually pushed in/out. In addition it was discovered that a manufacturers shop rag had been left in the seal on top of the slide causing the slide to leak when it rains. Just this week (March 2024) we wondered why the dining table looked warped. Turns out the adhesive used to cover the table with "wallpaper" has failed. The entire table wallpaper comes off now. Let's not forget last year when the family was out of town except one. He just happened to go outside and saw that the battery had caught fire. Thankfully he was able to remove the propane tank before it exploded causing the rv to burn to the ground. This is just a small list of issues on top of the lack of customer service on every end concerning our RV. WE WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER KZ RV. Show less

Bought brand new and every time we go on a trip there is a new issue. Leaking pipes, slide out went out, screws popping out every trip, couch unscrewing etc. I asked the MFR when does it qualify for lemon law and their response is all trailers loosen up when moved which is bull because I have had trailers for a long time. Very disappointed in how cheaply this is manufactured. Front window where we sleep leaks air like we are in a tent and have to sleep with bonus and I had the dealer seal it for us. Show less

Love my camper my 2 kids do to,have few small issues kz needs to rethink had left tandem blow out it blowed black mesh insulation out ac grounds need to relocate grounds,finder skirts side skirting but biggest damage blowed my converter an breakers,fuse panel into a million pieces need to relocate electrical controls else where, table counter bathroom tops still pilling off since bought couch started pilling brown top coat off I take excellent care of my RV still smells new inside,been waiting 111 days today for repairs me an kids missed our hole summer of camping disappoint Show less

This has been a mess since our first trip. Leaking windows, poor build quality, bad awning, poor holding tank ventilation, cracked pieces of wood supporting lower bunk, broken pull out roller supports… Warranty work has been terrible. Now all of the exterior stickers are bubbling off. Run away fromKZ! Show less

Bought our spree in may 2016. and drove it to our lake lot 4 hrs away and parked it. It was wonderful for that summer. Camped the next summer and it got cool in the fall. So I turned on the furnace. No Heat! Took it back that fall and paid 5000.00 for them to cut open our undercarriage and fix the not yet connected duct pipes. 😡 Then they staple it back up and gave it back to us like that. This manufacturer isn’t capable of putting these trailers together.. Pulled my microwave out to fix that and found our radio remote. OMG! Don’t even get me started with the electrical! I Do Not recommend this brand and good luck to anyone who owns a spree Superlite! By KZ Can’t wait to get rid of this piece of JUNK! 😡🤬😤 Show less

We have no complaints about this trailer that we have enjoyed for the past 5 years. As a matter of fact, we are having trouble finding a 2022 that has all of the features this one has. Have been all over the U.S. with it, and still in very good condition. Will give someone else many years of enjoyment. Show less

It is very comfortable with room to stretch out. The king size bed is awesome and the little people love the dual bunk house. It is a dream to tow. My Ram doesn’t even know it’s back there. Awesome RV Show less

I bought a 2021 Escape Hatch one month ago. The first night of camping was miserable due to the cheap mattress. It was so thin it was like sleeping on the plywood it sits on. I was told it was a queen size mattress so I bought a new one, of course it was too wide, had to buy the drop hose from the company and tried to put it in the bumper for storage, it does not fit due to the fittings on the end of the hose. This is our first camper, my wife and I are very disappointed with our purchase. My advice is to go look at other companies. Show less

I bought one on 1/26/19.the biggest mistake ever.it has been in the shop work on 5 times.thr awing the hot water heater the plumbing.i haven't took it any where that things with it has gone wrong.the company that makes it had done terrible workmanship every.and the camper it self comes apart in your hands.shame on this company.for ripping me off.please don't buy anything from them you will be like me.wishing you never have Show less
