We purchased this RV 2022 at a dealership in Memphis TN which went bankrupt and they lost the information on our purchase. They couldn't help us on warranty. My husband had more knowledge on trailers than I did. This Trailer very nice at first until the nightmare that this trailer has had it's not worth getting and Steven called it the covid trailer, The manufacturer did a cheap and crappy job putting it together. Having problems with the springs and trucks having cracks and rust. Needing to weld them back together on a very dangerous highway, no help. Now having to replace the truck, sucks. To old and sick to fix it. The adder needs replaced for the bottom part of it where the screws are cracked the metal and lost the bottom part of it. Sewage issues and had to replace the parts, that's nasty. Leaking of air conditioning vents. Replacing the TV because of the TV mount coming unscrewed during transport. So basically, there's a lot to fix and lots of money to spend on this trailer for having it for only 2 years. Can't wait to get rid of it.

As with any new item there are always bugs that require working out. We've had to replace the floor in the dining slide due to water leak the 1st year out, haven't been pleased with it since. Floor after 2.5 yrs became soft not due to water leak, dealer & Mfgr stated common problem with no solution or recommended fix. Furnace had to be replaced 2X in 4 years as well as fridge required service & replace inverter both times within 4 years. Thank goodness I purchased an extended warranty. I won't purchase another. Thor industry that owns open range is only interested in the bottom line and cares nothing about product quality, service, or customer service. I wrote a letter to the CEO/President of the company and my letter was returned unopened and rejected. Every owner has floor problem.

Highland Ridge has stood behind their product, as it relates to warranty and any issues that needed factory sign off they were excellent to deal with. The dealership complimented this as well very nicely. The trailer is an excellent setup for full timers the second bathroom is probably my favorite feature, you can keep you bedroom separate and not have anyone going through it to use the washroom. Storage is good the kitchen ahs ample pot and pan storage as well as deep enough cupboards to feel actual plates in it.

We bought this RV new in 2018. We liked the 3X which meant that there was an increse in the insulation. As we stay in southern Florida for 4 months in the winter and visit the eastern shores during the summer, it seemed to be a good idea. Bad idea! The foam that is used in the floors breaks down and you end up with crumbled foam under the floor covering. Very costly to repair! It is a common issue that Thor will not cover after the 1 year warranty is over. The cable operated slides hang up when pulling in the two main slides. The suspension has failed twice now. Spring hanger was only spot welded, broke off from fame. Over $800 to repair. Now an estimate to repair crumpled foam in floor, $3200. Thor replaced the entry door. Now have a 3/8" gap under the door instead of a 1/2" gap. Had to file half the plunger off in the bathroom door to get it to go into the hole in the wall plate to keep the door closed. The mattress that came with the trailer, you cannot sleep on it. Thin, cheap junk. Open the upper cabinet door in the rear of the coach, on a sunny day, you can see the red glow from the outside upper marker light. No insulation there. Too many more problems to talk about, not enough space to cover it all. Just a poorly built, well designed rig. Don't walk away from a Thor, RUN! Unfortunately, I did not learn from the experience with a priorThor RV. My prior Thor was a Super C, and it was poorly designed, poorly constructed. Ford F550 chassis was good, but the camper body was terribly cheap, poorly constructed and we should have learned better than to buy another Thor. Honest opinion.

DRYER FIRE HAZARD! I bought this RV used earlier this year. I bought a washer/dryer combo to put in the designated closet. My maintenance guy and I both noticed the little stickers on the wall where it says "DRYER VENT LOCATION" but because of where my vent was located on my dryer, we couldn't use that location and had to make our own. It's a good thing we didn't use that spot--a normal person with a normal dryer would probably assume that the sticker means to drill your 4" hole in that spot and that there is venting already inside the wall...right? WRONG! Due to another issue, I had to take the wall down in my half bath which is on the back side of the laundry area. I discovered that the so-called vent inside the wall for the dryer is actually a CARDBOARD BOX taped at both ends and just sitting inside the wall taped to a stud. Now to back track a bit...I emailed Jayco back when getting ready to install the W/D combo. I asked them how to install the vent in my RV. I told them there was a sticker on the wall with that message. Their response was simply how to install a dryer with a vent. So obviously not reading my email or understanding the question. So....if someone actually just drills a hole in the wall assuming there is a dryer vent in there already----HUGE FIRE HAZARD! No where for the lint to go except into a paper box! What on earth are they thinking when they build these RVs? I really hope nobody has actually attached a dryer how to that spot.....if so---remove it. For whatever reason, this site will not allow a photo upload

We researched this camper for a year. We needed a bigger camper to stay in while we built a house Did not know it was made by Jayco. We were warned to to ever buy Jayco. $117,000 and the 1st day the closet shelf fell. 2nd day Master closet sagging and noticed drawers in bunkhouse hits the slide and doesn't come out all the way. The other one slides across the slide vinyl which will eventually tear. The trim on living room slide not secured to the wall. Then the motion sensors are off and on all night 24/7. Even when we are asleep. I read that they are defective. Then our camper is equipped with a winegard 360 which we had to buy a $370 gateway modem for. They day to remove the 2 screws and there are wires to install it. Simple right? Nope. Guess what no wires. Was told we could go on top of camper and unscrew the winegard to see if the wires are in it. Nope again. Screws were covered with sealant. Called jayco twice then they called me . They will not do anything. I will have to take it into a dealer for service. What part of we are in the camper now because we sold our house and are traveling. Where are we suppose to stay? Are they gonna reimburse us for non use of our brand new camper? Nope again. They will not reimburse us for anything. I guess I didn't research enough. I even had a dealer tell us good luck when it's in the shop a week from now. We'll I guess he wasn't lying. Never again. I will tell everyone I know I. Personally, on the internet, social media, anywhere to never , ever buy from Jayco. I am now gonna consult an attorney to see what I can do.
