We purchased a highland ridge toy hauler in August 2023, First time we took it out the plumbing under the kitchen sink leaked. My husband fixed it, Had it out for a day, The 2nd time we went camping I went to load up the refrigerator with food. It didn't work, My husband found out the battery was bad, hoping to fix the problem he purchased a new battery. ( Mind you the trailer was only a year old at the time. $200.00 for a new battery) The guy at advanced auto said to him this battery is not new, its a 2020 battery, So in other words someone had switched batteries. My husband put the new battery in hoping the fridge would work, IT DIDNT!!! We took it with a few coolers in hand. Long story short, we took our first shower in the camper. Water started pouring under the bathroom sink. Then he went to let out the black and gray water, Water started pouring out under the camper itself. This camper should be considered under the lemon law!!!It has shotty workmanship to say the least. I would NOT recommend a Highland ridge to anyone. Its a 30,000 piece of crap!!! Show less

We purchased this RV 2022 at a dealership in Memphis TN which went bankrupt and they lost the information on our purchase. They couldn't help us on warranty. My husband had more knowledge on trailers than I did. This Trailer very nice at first until the nightmare that this trailer has had it's not worth getting and Steven called it the covid trailer, The manufacturer did a cheap and crappy job putting it together. Having problems with the springs and trucks having cracks and rust. Needing to weld them back together on a very dangerous highway, no help. Now having to replace the truck, sucks. To old and sick to fix it. The adder needs replaced for the bottom part of it where the screws are cracked the metal and lost the bottom part of it. Sewage issues and had to replace the parts, that's nasty. Leaking of air conditioning vents. Replacing the TV because of the TV mount coming unscrewed during transport. So basically, there's a lot to fix and lots of money to spend on this trailer for having it for only 2 years. Can't wait to get rid of it. Show less

This is to set the record straight. I am looking at a 2020 Open Range UT2602RL and was looking for reviews and all I could find on YouTube were dealers' selling one so I started to surf the internet for reviews most like upset consumer mostly has people that have had a bad experience. So out of all the thousand Open Ridge TT sold there, is less than 50 that had a bad experience with the trailer or the dealership! Bet if you looked for a Ford F-150 review you would see a similar rate of complaints to praise. I got to this website and it had a rating of 1.0 for every category with 0 reviews had to you rate something if there is no reviews? Show less

This is a great RV. However, you never 'find things' until after the warranty period... That being said, here are two issues we've experienced. The first one is the Table that is stored under the couch. There are two bolts that weren't put in flush with the flooring and are protruding up so that when the table is replaced under, those 2 screws damaged the edges of the table. The other issue is the laminate on the counter top to the left of the oven has split from the front corner all the way to the outer edge and will need to be replaced. In our opinion, whatever 'quality control' measures were taken before this camper was put on the floor, were inadequate at best. We are very unhappy with what we have experienced so far. Now it has become a DIY repair to 'fix' these issues. Show less

As with any new item there are always bugs that require working out. We've had to replace the floor in the dining slide due to water leak the 1st year out, haven't been pleased with it since. Floor after 2.5 yrs became soft not due to water leak, dealer & Mfgr stated common problem with no solution or recommended fix. Furnace had to be replaced 2X in 4 years as well as fridge required service & replace inverter both times within 4 years. Thank goodness I purchased an extended warranty. I won't purchase another. Thor industry that owns open range is only interested in the bottom line and cares nothing about product quality, service, or customer service. I wrote a letter to the CEO/President of the company and my letter was returned unopened and rejected. Every owner has floor problem. Show less

Very, very unhappy with this RV! Have had it in for repairs 4 TIMES for various issues and the problems still aren't solved. From substantial leaks under both sinks to a wobbly toilet, valances loosening from the wall and the inside wall by the bed bowing inward loosening the window frame. Brand new 2023 camper. Never used. Terrible. Warranty covers everything so far but its a lengthy, time consuming process. Never again with this brand Show less

Company DOES NOT CARE. Let me explain, 2022 travel trailer, overall love it. Looks great really minor issues, would normally never write a negative review. But the seal where the front metal meets the roof was drizzled on like sauce instead of done properly, clearly negligence on behalf of the manufacturer. Unit is 6months out of warranty $40k unit. Clear manufacturer neglect and won't even as much give me the ruined interior panel to replace myself. Long story short is camper itself is pretty nice, would have had a good review but they simply don't care about the product they put out on the sales lot. Really disappointing that they "respectfully decline to get involved" . Highly DO NOT recommend. I would like to believe there are companies that would like to at least work their customers when they put out something that is not acceptable quality. Show less

We have owned this unit for a month. Our first outing we learned that there is no gravity fill available. I suppose that is our problem for not noticing this. Subsequent trips we discovered a tear in the couch, the shower strip coming apart, the kitchen drawers misaligned and opening during travel, fridge leaking, door out of square, closet door is warped, dining table broke upon first use, the bathroom sink counter area buckling, screws missing on the exterior metal strips, the battery didn’t work and no reset switch. But, the worst thing was thst the window by the bed was leaking badly. We purchased this in August 2023 brand new but its a 2022 so the window must have been leaking for 2 years. Dealership is telling us that they know there has been leaking because of evidence of water damage but its dry NOW. We asked for our money back. Dearler contacted the manufacturer and we are getting nowhere. We are concerned that there is mold or structural damage but nothing is being done to address this issue. Do not purchase from Highland Ridge! Show less

Do not buy an open range trailer of any size. Quality for the price if there was a rating below 0 I would use it. Everything is noticed after a year . Water pump failed shorts in overhead lighting toilet not flushing low water pressure cabinets falling down over sink molding separate at door to bathroom .to much to write about this is my 5th travel trailer an by far the worst. The quality of the construction is poor just staples coming out of the cabinets cabinets falling apart cabinets were not painted thoroughly staples coming out of the wall in the shower paper peeling off the paneling booth seats installed crooked paneling popping out door was bent from the factory does not close properly all in all it’s as if somebody left a new employee alone to put this trailer together the quality of the workmanship is shoddy I wouldn’t buy another open range Show less
