Hello, I am writing to you because, as new owners of a 2023 Heartland Fuel 395 (purchased March 28, 2024), we brought our camper in for warranty service work to address several issues, one we feel is pretty major, which our dealer/service provider would not correct. Camping World located on West Freeway Drive in Hugo, Minnesota is our dealer/ service provider. Since just before our first trip, we noticed a loud squeak in the floor in the kitchen area in front of the refrigerator. See attached video, taken on May 10, 2024. It is loud and annoying. It is in a high traffic area. Camping World service said they would not fix it (under warranty) because Heartland told them it would not authorize it to be fixed because it is “within specs”. We feel this is unacceptable. This camper’s MSRP is upwards of $100,000. We have had a 5th wheel toy hauler in the past. Two of our family members have similar toy haulers. None have had an issue such as this. We would appreciate someone from Heartland contacting us to address this concern. Response: This has been reviewed by my management team. Please see page 6 in the attached owner’s manual we have for all of our RV’s. On page 6, under what is not covered, does state Accessories and equipment that are working as designed, but which owner is unhappy with the design. We always want to do what we can to help all of our retail customers. In this case, Heartland RV respectfully declines warranty assistance for this issue, and will continue to work with you under Heartland RV warranty policies and guidelines. D. Bought my Toy Hauler brand new. Love the floor plan. I did remove the fold down beds in the rear and replaced with 2 nice recliners. Overall the Toy Hauler has been fun to own. Problem now is the Alpha TPO roof has failed and I need to replace rotten wood and install a new membrane. Alpha Systems are supposed to be warranteed for 12 years and like all of the RV companies I have yet to hear back from them in regards to the warranty. I have inspected, washed and caulked every year. When not in use I have a very expensive waterproof Cover for it. Anyone else have a Alpha Systems roof failer. ??

Loved the floor plan, one of the few toy hauler campers with recliners facing TV, we drove over 4 hours to purchase the camper. I knew I was in trouble when the factory didn't install one of the bathroom doors, but we were there, and dealer had a door, so we went ahead and purchased. The quality was all down hill from beginning- 1st year trimming falling off walls, the shower wasn't stalled correctly, the back cover for the garage unzipped twice and then never worked since. A majority of the seat legs do not stay up or down. The AC unit is directed straight at a side wall and sounds like a hurricane you are not able to watch TV without external speakers. Speaking of TV the installed cd player looks great, but only worked a few times. Forget using the internal phone chargers they are very slow chargers. The garage seats/bottom bed only lasted a couple seasons, we have to use boxes as support and one side the bracket already broke. As you can see from my post I am totally disappointed in this camper. I have a 2010 Jaco toy hauler that has been put through 4 young grandchildren that is in better shape than this 4 year old Torque. Just discovered that the tongue switch doesn't operate, and it has only been used a few times, since camper has been kept at a year-round campground. Buyer beware!!! Don't make any attempt to contact Manufacturer it is pointless

Warped/buckling trim and wallboard. Leaky propane system. Tires not rated for load, one blew out within 500 miles. Water tank supports ripped from frame by weight of water because only held up by sheet metal screws. The warranty says covered, but they could never seem to get me the right parts. Garbage quality machine.

Great floor plan. Mediocre to poor finish workmanship (lots of missing fasteners and screws). The biggest problem is the totally inadequate structural design of the suspension system. This is the 4th time having a suspension / frame failure repaired. Currently having the entire frame beefed up and completely rebuilt. The axles, hubs, wheels and tires are appropriately sized but the frame they are attached to is structurally under sized and completely inadequate. Have spent $20,000 getting the trailer capable of surviving traveling US 40 and US 10 through Arizona.

We bought this toy hauler new in 2014 after doing homework on every toy hauler we could find. 2 adults 3 boys 2 Doberman 2 Indian motorcycles 1 F-350 diesel This trailer has been fantastic for 9 years and is still fantastic. When loaded for a beach trip, we are over 20,000 lbs and you don’t know it’s back there. We did have a small issue in September, 2021 when we were having the trailer Winterized and washed at General RV. They were on the roof and noticed a soft spot near the front A/C unit. As it turned out, that unit was installed incorrectly from Heartland in 2014. They stapled through the roof in the wrong direction and water got in and rotted the roof through the years. General RV in Canton, Ohio took the time and pictures and sent everything to Heartland. Heartland agreed that this was 100% their mistake. After 9 years (obviously outside of any warranty coverage), Heartland told us if we would pull the trailer to their facility in Indiana, they would completely tear off the old roof and install a new roof. Obviously, that is what we did and we currently have a 2014 trailer and a 2 year old roof. Our next trailer will be a Heartland.

To start off with we have had multiple things wrong with this camper. It started with the shower, leaking the toilet leaking, and one of the cabinets put on upside down ,one cabinet hanging as though the hinge was not secured tightly enough, and when cabinet was opened, it would fall down, then upon observing under the camper, it was noticed it had no shocks on it.!! ( how did they miss this if it is inspected and passing all inspections before being sent out to be sold) Also, for part of the support under the camper, one of the railings was not long enough so a board and screws were placed to make it long enough to secure to the frame. This I could not believe.!! I felt like I had a camper Built back in the woods . When looking at the camper to purchase it, we noticed the slide out did not go all the way in we were told that that was as far as the slide out went in. I guess we should’ve questioned that at the time, but we didn’t our mistake. Because now we have it at a camp world because the black tank fell off of its lip and was hanging under the camper and we had a torn place in the linoleum. When they went to repair the linoleum they noticed 6 foot of flooring rotted out due to the slide out, not going all the way in and rotting the floor . This is the biggy!!! Heartland has twice sent linoleum to camp world and it’s being the wrong color both times! They were even sent a picture of the linoleum that’s in the camper to match it, but for some reason someone who is color blind because they can’t seemto send the right color. This will be the third time camp world has had to request The linoleum I’m not upset with camp world because they are doing their best but as far as heartland I am very disappointed . Our camper has been at camp world since the middle of November 2022 and today is March 27th 2023 and we are still waiting for heartland to send the RIGHT linoleum. We had rented a camping spot in Daytona Beach for a year. And have not been able to go back down there since middle of November 2022. Wish I could make heartland pay me back some of the money he has cost me to still be waiting on them to send the RIGHT linoleum.
