We are enjoying the camper. But, it is thrown together with Band-Aids and bailing wire. Very shoddy construction! Paneling is coming loose from walls especially in the bathroom and kitchen area. The AC unit didn't work because of loose wiring. The faucets kept clogging with construction debris. Was told there is a solar panel installed, but the battery keeps draining. The TV antenna and cable outlet is either loose or disconnected. All of this is covered by dealer warranty but it would take up to 3 months to get any of this fixed so I did it myself.

We bought a Frienship by Gulf Stream. Wanted to pay cash but campers inn said We would get a $1,000.00 discount if We financed the camper, so We did. We picked the camper up on a Tuesday. Left on Wednesday morning. Turned on the fridg, let it cool, and put Our food and meds into it. Went We arrived at the campground, We discovered that the fridg had quit working, ruining Our meats and meds. Also one widow has a huge scratch, shower faucet does not work, door folding door handle is broken. We were also told that the awning had LED lights, which it does not. We cannot even use Our camper! It has been a month now, and they keep saying that they are waiting on parts. This is a brand new camper and We only used it the first 2 days, which was a disaster with all 5 issues. Campers Inn in Kings Mountain North Carolina sucks big-time They only care about sales, and nothing about service!!!

This coach not as advertised. There has been body work in spots due to rust this paint is not flawless as described in the video. Tom is not the one time owner of this coach and Everytime I asked a question he had to call someone. Also this coach is now sitting in a dust lot and who knows for how long. I told he that I am willing to pay his asking price and to show him our comment on I sent him photos of our plane tickets from Florida to Portland. When we inspected the vehicle and told him we're not interested he they my luggage out of his truck and told us to leave his lot,and left us stranded and on our own this is not how a business person works.

Overall very happy with our GS Vintage. Very minor issues after almost a year. The layout works great for us, really like the direct drive slide (no pulley system). Pulls great with no excessive sway. Stock AC unit is VERY loud (cools great just loud) - we swapped for much quieter unit. Have done a couple of mods that should be stock (considerable wasted space above fridge). Highly recommend the GS Vintage ! NOT happy with local authorized GS Vintage dealer parts and service dept. Very slow on follow up (if at all), extended time to get service appt, extended time before unit was serviced after being dropped off. Very slow follow up even after multiple calls to check status.

I have used this unit for 8 years and for the most part been quite satisfied with the performance. Over the years of ownership I have upgraded many items. Flat screen TVs, tankless water heater, multi camera rear view system and a tire pressure monitoring system. I took it from Colorado mountains to New Mexico desert and was comfortable anywhere we traveled. I averaged about 20,000 miles per year and would say that service was about average for a quality class a coach

We ordered this coach from the Gulf Stream factory through a dealer, and had several custom additions made to suit us. Gulf Stream folks were very good to work with. The floor plan, features, and quality are all an accumulation of all the good things we have had, and seen, in other coaches. We still have not seen any coach in the new line ups that we would want more than this one. There have been very few problems with it as well. The quality the Gulf Stream put into it is still superior to any other ones we see for an assembly line product, and consequently, we are very proud to show it off. Bottom line - could not be happier with this one, and not in any hurry to trade.

The bead lights outlining the atrium windows and living areas provide a great atmosphere. It has an excellent, comfortable queen sized bed -- great mattress. It is also a pleasure to drive -- like riding on a cloud while seeing all the scenery like you are in a Cinerama movie theatre.
