Gulf Stream Class C reviews

We purchased a brand new Motorhome at an RV show in Utah from Parris RV. It had all the features we were looking for and in our price range. Our first trip out we found multiple problems, most were fixed to our satisfaction. New problem arose after 3rd trip, we cannot go camping using battery power only. The inverter breakers keep tripping with only the 12 volt fridge running nothing else is on. We have to turn the truck engine on to get the slide outs in. Gulf Stream said they would cover the repairs. We had it looked at and it cost us $900.00 now Gulf Stream won't pay it because they think we did something wrong, operator error. They think we had the battery disconnect in the off position which we didn't. So we still have this problem and are unable to use the Motorhome while camping in remote places. The only places we can go are RV campgrounds with full hookups Show less

We like that fact that it does not have any slide outs it’s a Ford 350 gas which is really nice coming from a diesel with def problems . Haven't had any issues with this coach full time living in it with spouse. Rides real nice no cabinets shacking or loose window noises. In our opinion this model seems to be the best one we’ve owned. We pulled a Grand Design 29Go momentum nothing but problems traded for another toy hauler same issues leaks cabinets falling our truck had a part on recall for def so out of service for 2months we just decided after all the ups and downs why not go simple so as retired truck drivers we decided to have the road experience like we did in our rig but have it all kitchen full bathroom fridge stove all in one easy way to travel on the road again. Excellent experience, easy to set up, remote led exterior light package , new interior, roof, transmission, tires, driveshaft, and brakes. All cushions and mattresses replaced inside, and toilet is also new. Show less

This is an update on a previous review. Camping World / Coldwater Mi. Has completed our repair as of this date it has been in repair since Oct 2022. Due to the slide cracking the fiber glass .They have to find someone to fix that. Gulf Stream will not cover any of the repairs even tho it was due to a cracked weld. This was the second one. Please Please if looking for a motorhome be aware that there is no lemon law and once you purchase they will not care if it is correct or not. Gulf Stream does not seem to have anyone that want to communicate and or look at problems in the repair departments . This is our second motorhome ……first one we had for over 20 years Show less

We love our little woody but the poor quality of the decals and the constant excuses from Gulf Stream has soured us. Highly unlikely that I will buy anything Gulf Stream makes. We just spent another $2200 removing the pealing decals. I have already reinvested $1550 in decals, we are done. Be careful if buy a Gulf Stream check the dates on the tires, our unit a 2019 had 2009 tires. Also I suggest you have the dealer or go to a tire place and upgrade highest grade, the low quality investment on tires is worth the upgrade. I upgraded speakers inside, hvac is loud so needed more than a tv speaker. We have a had a good experience outside what I have said, love the unit. Show less

I have written a review previously, this is additional information. Problem with motorhome: Falling clothes rod Bathroom door not staying shut Trim falling off Linoleum buckled Screws not in correctly under recliners Leaking shower and unstable shower head fixed x 3 Replaced air conditioner Gray/black monitor reversed Weld on bed frame broken took months to get part. Only found due to leaking shower and concerned area might have water damage Now since Oct.2022 weld on slide broke ,now crack in fiberglass. Gulf Steam will not cover the weld. Asked us if we towed a vehicle….yes we do a Jeep wrangler Thank You Gulf Stream for nothing but heart ache and a loss of our money. Show less

We are not first time MH owners. Our Jayco was 24 years old and still looked and ran like new. 2018 ( 2 years before retirement) we bought our Conquest. The list of repairs after one trip to a race 50 miles from home : Door to bathroom would not stay closed. Closet rod fell down and could not be put back up. Shower leaked and shower head came loose from wall. Flooring we found buckled after putting slide out. Trim fell from above booth. These are just some. Was in shop most of the winter. Levelers have been replaced and now need replacing again. Main slide is not working . It has been at Camping World since oct 5 2022 and so far not fixed yet. We only have 14,000 miles on it and most we put on going from Lima ,Ohio to Coldwater, MI for repairs. The sad part is There is No customer service . Once they sell that MH. The factory does not care and either does the sales company whomever they happen to be. We hope for the best ….It’s now 2 years old retirement not how we planned. Carol Ronken Show less

The worst camper you can buy..customer service big zero...couple months old and they dont want to help us with repairs...paneling is cheap you open storage wood dust everywhere..AC not controlled with thermostat either you hot in there or cold...to controlled AC you have to get up in 3 am and shot it or turn on otherwise is constantly running stupid system..water tank stirage is loosr and while driving valve brock i can sand picture...battery is not giving us light inside so you have to be plugged in outlet all the time or cary flash light.. i cant believe 2022 model with so mani mistakes...i will never buy another camper from you guys Show less

One of the best C class RV on the Market strong engine to tow. The frame is very strong and great to travel it helps a lot on the on road overall handling. Alison gearbox is state of the art. The floorpan is family friendly. Engine pulls strong and breaks are never on the limits. Show less

This RV was a great way to get out of the house this past summer. the only issues we had was finding the literature on how to work everything, other than that me and my wife, kids and pets had a blast enjoying our trips together. the best thing I found on this RV was how easily it was to set up and tear down camp.
