Excellent floorplan - especially for the size. Easy to tow. This towable trailer has the best floorplan - using the space well and with lots of storage. We have enjoyed our trailer. The bathroom is full size with 2 doors so you can close it off from the bedroom as well as the main living space. The kitchen spans the width of the trailer and is huge. Show less

Great floor plan! Walk around Queen bed with lots of storage. Love the living and kitchen areas! Solar fridge is a game changer for keeping food cold! Outside kitchen and storage is helpful. Has great 3rd closet with optional washer dryer hookup. Show less

We've had the RV for just over 4 years. Bought new. We do not travel with the unit. It is on a seasonal site. However I did move it 60 miles from the original seasonal location to another and it towed very well. The only real issue we've ever had was the Norcold 1210 model refrigerator. The original one was DOA upon us taking delivery. It was replaced quickly and that unit lasted about 2 years. GD was helpful in coordinating a replacement unit along with our dealer. That one failed as well. I replaced it with a residential refrigerator. I replaced the bathroom faucet as well. The original was simply too low to the sink bowl. A simple and easy process. Otherwise the floor plan, storage and overall functionality has been awesome for us. Show less

We lived in our RV for almost 4 years, and it has treated us very nicely and without any problems. This layout gave us so much room and storage for everything we could ever need. We did upgrade our fridge to a Samsung residential fridge for more space as we were living it in. Show less

Love the camper but have had FOUR GE air conditioning units go down in less the TWO years! And we are not full timers. We didn't even take it out during the hot part of the summer in our second season for fear it would fail again... and sure enough. First trip out this summer and another AC unit went down. Annoying beyond words. If Grand Design doesn't change AC brands I will not be able to buy another unit from them, which is a shame because we love everything else about it. I will say, so far Grand Design has replaced all the units and my dealer has made the exchange as easy as possible but it is still a MAJOR pain. We live an hour from our dealer. Show less

We recently purchased a new 2024 GD Reflection. We were preparing for our first trip, and the #3 slide (bedroom) wouldn’t extend. Took it to the dealer and one of the motors is bad. Also, the entry door doesn’t latch without holding open the handle. We’ll have to cancel our trip. Contacted GD about reimbursing unrefunded deposit and they said no. We had a Forest River Rockwood for six years with no warranty issues, and minor repairs. We opted for the GD, because we were told they are quality. What a lie. So far this one is crap. DON’T buy a Grand Design. We should have stick with Forest River. Show less

We love our 297! It is extremely comfortable and spacious, from the multitude of large windows with the heated, massage recliners in the livingroom to the queen size traditional mattress in the bedroom. On cold mornings it is wonderful to make a cup of coffee or tea and sit in front of the fireplace as you plan out our day. Of course, if you prefer, you can just turn up the heat to feel warm and toasty throughout the unit. The kitchen has everything you need! Plenty of counterspace with a large sink with gooseneck faucet and sprayer is adequate for anything you want to wash or prep. We travel for weeks at a time and have adequate space in the refrigerator, freezer and cabinets for all of our meals. The indoor stove/oven and the outdoor propane stove are very convenient. The microwave/convection oven is fabulous for preparing quick meals. There are also a lot of electric outlets for any convenience appliances you use. The wood dining table and 4 separate chairs are very comfortable and can be used in the living room or outside when you have a lot of guests to seat. Both the table and two of the chairs have smaller spaces for storage. The bathroom is spacious and there is plenty of storage for towels, personal products and cleaners. The glass shower doors are easy to clean and make the space feel open. Sitting outside surrounded by nature under the awning watching sports or movies on the TV, or listening to music from the outdoor speakers with drinks in the small refrigerator just a couple feet away is incredibly relaxing. The basement passthrough holds a lot of equipment and is easy to access. Show less

This is my second GD trailer. Upgraded from an 2019 Imagine which was poorly made. Many screws stripped on side panels and skirting. Put together with Gorilla tape to get home. Trailer just out of warranty so all repairs out of pocket. Now have 2024 Reflection 297RSTS. Very easy to pull. Better construction than the Imagine except the latch to hold shower door very flimsy. Came loose during travels and glass doors shattered. AWNING MOUNTED TOO LOW. Sharp corners of slideout cutinto awning when being extended or retracted. Had to contact NC State attorney General office before GD would answer any emails. No resolution yet, Took away outside lighting replaced with speakers. It is so dark you can not see stairs at night. My wife and I purchased our Grand Design Reflection on 11/14/23 form Brown's RV Superstore in Mabee S.C. This is our permanent home now. So far so good. The problem has been attitude dealing with customer service at Grand Design. We have only rolled out our awnings three or four times and the main awning has a tear in it. I sent pictures to the dealership and was told to contact Grand Design. My wife called and talked to Davida Horner and she was very rude to my wife. Then I talked to Davida Horner and she was very rude and short with me. I'm sure the seventy thousand dollars we spent is not a big thing to a company this size but that's a lot of money to us. Davida Horner did not try to help in any way. We kinda thought maybe they would kinda give us a little help but no. I thought I would just voice my opinion about another time dealing with customer service. Thanks, Jack Hinson Show less

What an awesome floor plan on this trailer. I just upgraded from an Intech Sol Horizon which I loved but was too small for my needs. I couldn't be happier choosing the Grand Design Reflection, it's a home on wheels and a beautiful one at that. Show less
