This trailer has helped me fulfill many dreams. We were the second owners for this trailer and were lucky to find a shorter trailer. We enjoy camping in state and national parks which cannot accommodate the larger trailers (35' +). We made a trip to Yellowstone, two trips to New England, one along the Gulf Coast, and many long weekends in Texas. The trailer pulls like a dream, and we would not be selling if it were not for health issues. I would love for someone to take this trailer and experience all the wonders I have.

Overall, very happy with this unit. Between staying at our seasonal spot in the summer to pulling to Arizona for the winter, we stay around 220 nights a year in the RV. This tows vey well with my F150 (no judging!). It’s a smaller RV that is quite liveable. Into our third summer and have had two small issues. The drain dump slide jammed and was fixed at dealer, and the kitchen tap burst. This was not frost. Could have been because forgot to put a pressure regulator on. This unit was purchased due to perfect fit into summer deck. Very pleased.

I posted a review earlier this week and want to update. I did call Grand Design company and talked to one of the Customer Service Reps. I explained to her everything that was going on and that we were not happy with the response we were getting to all of our issues. I told her I realized that some of the issues may be minor sounding but when you spend a lot of money on something new you don't expect to have that many issues. She stated hang on let me get this all typed up, I waited a few minutes. She said call the dealer ship give them this work order number and we will pay for all the repairs. Did not expect that and I am very grateful so cannot say that Grand Design does not stand behind their RV's. Thank you for the great Customer Support!!

We have the 150 series 260D purchased June 2021. We love the unit, but had I known about the horrible 3 inch clearance of the rear stabilizers I never would have made the purchase. I have submitted my concerns about this terrible engineering design three times to the manufacturer with absolutely no response.
The dealer has been trying to help me, but I was told there was no way to raise the jacks to give me at least 6 to 8 inches clearance. I would seriously caution anyone not to purchase anything in this series until the engineering problem has been corrected.

Bought this new 30 days ago. Fridge, not getting cold, bad compressor per dealer. Apparently came from factory that way. Grand design and furrion contacted. New fridge approved, thought was on its way, 2weeks ago. Recontacted them 2 days ago. Still not shipped. Apparently order lost. Need this fixed and working in 2 weeks, as I leave then for summer camp host job. Dealer said likely won’t happen. Why??? Also noticed there were 2 carbon monoxide detectors, and NO smoke detector in trailer. Huge life safety risk and state/federal law violations??? Came from factory that way. How many other trailers, came that way too? Nation wide recall??? Also had propane leak by slide out. Missed by dealer. The warranty check off list from dealer/manufacturer , showed those items in place, and working properly. How??? Just rubber stamping list and not actually looking at them! Breach of trust??? Isn’t that list, a legal document??? What if there had been a fire/explosion with loss of life, because of this??? Legal and PR nightmare??? I am a disabled/retired firefighter/medic. Have seen this happen, in real life. Not pretty. Just don’t want it to happen to others, especially families/kids. Thanks.

This is an update from my prior review. The overall quality has been quite good, but I am very disappointed by the interior choices that were made.
The Thomas Payne (Lippert) chairs have heat/vibrate/blue light functions that are controlled by touch switches in the cup holders. There is no obvious off position for each; you have to keep tapping them while seeking the lowest setting. And the heat and vibrate are constantly turning on inadvertently. No manual forthe chairs was provided. I’ve unplugged them and resent having paid for such a tacky feature.
The Roku TV falls back to noisy advertising of what a great product it is whenever I’m not looking. And the combination of it and the Jensen sound system is not at all user friendly.
There are a couple of dual USB power ports, one in the hutch and another over the bed. Only one port in each works due to poor connectors. To make matters worse, the ports won’t suuport two 2.1A loads at the same time. I’ve replaced one with a similar $8 product purchased from Amazon. I’ll do the other one next weekend.
And, the big fancy microwave turns out to only be rated for 900W and is slow as molasses when heating at full power.
In short, very poor choices in appliances were made.
The 29RS otherwise is quite nice so far.

This is admittedly an early review as we've only had our fiver for a few weeks. However, I've seen enough already to have a negative opinion about quality of my RV. The rubber roof on our 29RS was not well adhered along the edges, both on the main box and also on the slides. This was fixed under warranty, but the vehicle should never have left the factory. Furthermore, a close inspection of the Furrion electronics chosen by Grand Design for my unit reveals very mediocre design, build, and documentation quality. Sheet metal used in the microwave is so thin that it readily bends, and documentation calls for bi-annual replacement of a charcoal filter that doesn't exist as a purchasable item according to Furrion customer support. Other aspects of the trailer are great, but the facts that I'm already shopping for an alternative brand microwave, and that I'm already thinking of getting rid of the fireplace, perhaps replacing it with storage, illustrate my low regard for those Furrion appliances.
