I know people usually don't leave reviews unless they are disappointed in the purchase. I am delighted with our purchase. We have around 5000 miles of towing so far in our nine months of ownership. As with any travel trailer, we have had some minor issues. some of the hangers for the barn doors vibrate loose on long hauls, an occasional screw will vibrate loose but these are the only problems we have experienced. No plumbing problems, no electrical problems, no leaks and everything seems to be staying pretty solid. The trailer tows like a dream, It maintains a straight line with no sway. The floorplan works great for my wife and I with our two 50 lb. dogs. With the slide out there is plenty of room for us all to be in the living area without tripping over each other. I haven't had a warranty claim so I can't speak to warranty support but if you get on the GD Owners page on Facebook you will see an occasional unhappy camper but it is mostly rave reviews. If we decide to upgrade at some point, I will definately stay with Grand Design.

Bought trailer brand new. At deliver noted - stairs bent and significant rust on frame. Grand Design will not fix rust after multiple contacts with Grand Design Customer Service - response is always: "I will tell you now – as it is also outlined in your owner’s manual – that rust is not covered under warranty. Black paint is black paint so “not having the right color” seems odd to me. Grand Design will not approve for any rust coverage." Daniel Carr Retail Service Manager Grand Design RV Office: 574-825-9679 After a couple of trips found other quality defective items which have been "sorta" fixed. Floor plan is great and fits what we want BUT BEWARE - inspect trailer carefully and in detail prior to signing. Once you take delivery Grand Design is of no help. I do have photos but apparently the photo uploader will not work. One additional comment - the bed mattress is junk!

Wife and I have been living in the trailer as we travel the country for the past 3 years. Pros: We’re happy with the space, comfort and livability. We like the floor plan and the kitchen work space is efficient. It’s surprising how much stuff we have stored in here. The trailer pulls fine and is easy to manage the maintenance. We’ve spent weeks at higher elevations where temperatures got in the 20’s overnight. No problems with freezing using the propane furnace. Annual maintenance service has been great. We had one repair after an inattentive driver bumped the back and poked a hole in the outer wall. Dealer promptly fixed it—replaced the back wall with an improved version and they had it back to us the next day. Cons: our exterior black water valve stuck open / was hard to close, so I ended up replacing it. The grey water valves work fine. We have trouble raising and lowering the dining table for the bed when our grandkids stay overnight — but that could just be our problem and not a flaw.
