I've had a Grand Design Transcend Xplor 261BH, and I couldn’t be happier with this travel trailer! From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like a perfect blend of comfort, practicality, and quality—everything my family and I were looking for in a home away from home. The layout is fantastic, especially for a family. With a spacious queen bed up front for the adults and double-size bunk beds in the rear, there’s plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. My kids absolutely love having their own little bunk area—it’s like their personal hideout, which makes bedtime a breeze. The trailer sleeps up to 9, so we’ve even had space for friends or extended family to join us on trips. The kitchen is a standout feature for me. It’s well-equipped with a deep stainless steel sink, residential countertops, and plenty of storage, making meal prep super easy whether we’re cooking inside or using the outdoor kitchen. Speaking of which, the outdoor kitchen has been a game-changer—grilling burgers while enjoying the fresh air just adds to the camping experience. Cleanup is quick too, leaving us more time to relax. Storage is another huge plus. This trailer has so much space for all our gear, clothes, and essentials, yet it still feels open and uncluttered inside. The build quality really shines through—everything feels solid and sturdy, from the hardwood drawer fronts to the upgraded residential furniture. It’s clear that Grand Design put a lot of thought into making this trailer both functional and durable. Towing has been a breeze with our half-ton truck, and the power tongue jack makes setup at the campsite quick and stress-free. The heated and enclosed underbelly is a nice touch too, giving us confidence that we can extend our camping season without worrying about the weather. We’ve only had it for a short time, but so far, it’s exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail, like the USB ports throughout and the Bluetooth stereo with exterior speakers, just adds to the overall enjoyment. It’s the little things that make this trailer feel special. This is the perfect family RV. It's light enough to be easily towed and the whole family can spend time together in this great travel trailer. We enjoyed that at 27 feet we could fit into almost any RV spot at least 30 ft and still have plenty of room. There is plenty of storage space and we enjoyed the outside cooktop, where we could make meals outdoors while camping. One of the best features of this RV was the keyless entry. So, every member of our family had access without needing to have their own set of keys. This RV is an all-around perfect RV for a family that enjoys camping and sightseeing together. Show less

Originally bought the Toy Hauler to take our Polaris 4 wheeler on our trips. Given the limited RV parks that allow 4-wheelers, the garage turned into a perfect 2nd bedroom with it's own half bath and TV. Additionally, the bench and tables were a great dining area. Used the porch many times as a perfect outdoor area as well. Having the garage gave us all kinds of flexibility, from transporting our e-bikes and anything else we wanted to take, to using the garage as moving van storage. Moved our Son and Wife's belongings from SC to FL when they bought their first house. While the garage wasn't used as originally planned, it was very flexible and turned out to be the perfect second bedroom for our visiting family! The Momentum has a 40K btu furnace for winter and (3) 15K btu air conditioners for the Summer. With it's 4 season insulation, it was perfect when we went skiing in 10 degree WV or 110 degrees in AZ. Given all the appliances (18 cu ft Fridge/Freezer, gas range and oven, convection micro-oven and island sink), the 351M has all the comforts of home on wheels. Entertainment is just like home with (3) flat screen TV's and a 3 zone pioneer stereo system. Lastly, the Grand Design 351M was designed very well and built with much higher quality than most RV's. This is the third camper we have purchased for our family. We switched to Grand Design because of all the great things we have heard about them. This camper has been nothing but a nightmare. We purchased it brand new. After our first trip, the glass entry door shattered. It took about 3 months to replace it. The dealer did install a temporary door so the summer wasn't wasted. Then, the exterior ladder pulled out of sidewall, interior panels started popping off the walls, the back garage wall was not securely fastened to the side walls, and one of the bolts on the garage door broke off. It turns out it was missing multiple studs and backers. Grand Design told us to take it to the dealer for warranty repairs. That was an epic fail. The dealer did more damage to everything they touched and took multiple shortcuts. We complained and Grand Design said they would fix it. We just got the camper back and not only did they make more damage, but they also cut corners and failed to fix everything. You can see daylight through the panels by the nightstands, the entertainment cabinet is scratched, marred, and damaged. Nothing was resealed or even replaced. We reached back out to Grand Design and they told us to take it back to the dealer for warranty work. That is where we are now. Standby for updates. Show less

We have owned several fifth wheels and I love this front living floor plan. Plenty of storage space and room The on demand hot water heater alleviates running out of hot water when 3 adults take showers. Cools extremely well with the 3 AC's in South Carolina weather and humidity. Show less

I've owned Grand Design units for years and we're on our 3rd now, a Solitude 310GKR. We hoped that this would fit our retirement plans but I'm looking to sell/trade it for a Brinkley. We've taken our 310 out 5 times now and it's ended up in the repair shop after each trip. #1- The closet wall wasn't anchored to the floor. #2- The hydraulic system failed and had to be replaced. #3- the couches weren't anchored to the floor causing them to crash into the island and damaging both. #4- The wood trim poorly attached and falling off in several areas of the interior. #5- The heat pump for the electric heat on the roof top unit went out. Since Grand Design was bought out, it is no better than any other brand out there, including the cheap units. Components always likely to fail but the quality and workmanship has dramatically fallen. I would not recommend a Solitude as they're badly overpriced for what you get now. Show less

Great RV for a small family. Has a queen size bed and a bunk beds. Plenty of walking room and a full bathroom. My family and I have enjoyed this RV. Plenty of storage and easy to tow with a midsize truck. I added an anti-sway hitch that made towing very easy and tress free. Show less

Excellent floorplan - especially for the size. Easy to tow. This towable trailer has the best floorplan - using the space well and with lots of storage. We have enjoyed our trailer. The bathroom is full size with 2 doors so you can close it off from the bedroom as well as the main living space. The kitchen spans the width of the trailer and is huge. Show less

I would not recommend due to issues with slide out seals, auto leveling, toilet flush out leak, incorrectly installed door frames, screw falling off under the master closet and screw coming up through the floor in front of the master closet. Grand Design refuses to replacement the parts that were damaged before we bought the fifth wheel brand new or the parts that have failed to work right after purchase. They are using deny, delay, defend tactics. We have lost months of use of our fifth wheel and see no end in sight. Show less

GREAT LITTLE TRAILER! EVERYTHING ONE NEEDS, NOTHING ONE DOES NOT! LIKE WITH KIDS.... BIG KIDS, BIG PROBLEMS! BIG TRAILERS...BIG PROBLEMS! SMALL AND UNCOMPLICATED IS BEST! SIMPLE LAYOUT AND COMPACT. GREAT TRAILER FOR A SINGLE OR A COUPLE STILL IN LOVE! AND ITS 4 SEASON WITH SEALED HEATED UNDERBELLY. TRADITIONALLY BUILT BUT GOOD ENOUGH. I HAVE UPGRADED THIS TRAILER CONSIDERABLY AND MADE IT EVEN MORE COMFORTABLE. BUT FOR THE PRICE, STOCK ITS GOOD TO GO! EASY TO TOW AND PLENTY OF COMPARTMENT SPACE. ONLY ISSUE I HAD WAS LEAKING WATER HEATER OUT OF THE PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE. I REPLACED VALVE WITH AN UPGRADED ONE AND DOUBLE TAPED THE THREADS.. AT SAME TIME, I REPLACED ANODE ROD. A/C WORKS GREAT AND 20,000 BTU HEATER KEEPS IT WARM EVEN DOWN TO 17 DEGREES. AND NO FREEZE UP! ALOT OF BANG FOR THE BUCK! Show less
