The Grand View is the worst money that we have spent on any camping equipment. Forest River is hard to get payment for warranty work that has to be done, and believe me, there has been more problems with this camper than any we have owned. Be smart and stay clear of this poorly made camper. It is not worth half of what they sale for. Show less

I am writing this review in hopes that anyone who is searching for a RV travel trailer will stay clear of Forest River. I am not sure what type of quality assurance process they have but maybe someone needs to evaluate that department. We purchased a new Forest River Wildwood Platinum 29BUD floor plan RV and have had nothing but issues. This was our first RV so we were not sure what to look for, now I know! The screen door does not latch there is a gap between the door and the frame. The RV bathroom has done nothing but leak since we used it, sink leaked, coupling not attached to water hose. Shower leaked, not only was it not calked properly but the hose coupling on the water line was not seated properly. The gas heat works when it wants too and the bed board in the primary bedroom broke in half!! This is unacceptable to manufacture a product in this manner. Does this company not even care that people spend their hard earned money, I understand that we did not pay 100s of thousands for this RV but 30+ thousand was a lot of us. POOR Quality. I wish the list of ratings were more along the actual product quality. We choose the floor plan so that would be on us if we didn't like it. We purchased this RV two months after buying our Jayco 265RLS. The Jayco was too big for us to tow with our 2019 Chevy Tahoe LS. Wanting to travel and not just remain Camp Rats, we looked into a smaller yet functional travel trailer that we could easily tow. The real star on this camper is the Super Slide. You would be amazed the added space you get on a 23' camper when it is out. The Wildwood weighs less than 4200 pounds and tows very nicely. While it is a single axel, it still tracks well with our Husky 32218 Center Line TS weight distribution hitch and sway is kept to a bare minimum. We love the Bonus Bunk that folds out above the Jack Knife sofa. This provides a great place for our 6 small pups to hang out and watch the world from the super sized windows. Another plus is the U shaped Dinette. Extra seating where you need it and great under bench storage as well. The 12Volt 11Cu' refrigerator is excellent. Minus's - The toilet is placed a bit close to the right wall in the bathroom. If you are a larger individual, you might have issues. The Roof needed to be completely resealed before I picked this unit up from the dealer - always check your roof seals. The Dinette seat support boards were held in place with cheap angled plastic strips and half of the staples used missed their marks. I replaced the plastic with aluminum strips and am quite happy with the results. There is a wall plate above the TV mount that covers the pass through to the outside wall for the wiring to run to the power awning. Ours had a leak from the factory because some idgit forgot to apply caulking where needed. I fixed mine with no problems. The camper came with China Bombs from the factory and I insisted they be replaced with Goodyears as part of our deal. There are NO power receptacles on the slide side of the camper. We installed AC outlets next to the power / circuit / fuse panel and it really enhances functionality when you need to operate your computer at the Dinette without stringing extension cords across the camper. I contemplated replacing the fans with more powerful units but have not. I considered replacing the wood used on the Bonus Bunk for better support. I considered installing a window into the entry door for light and seeing who is approaching the door. Show less

Spacious and well designed and laid out travel trailer, including a full size bathroom which is a rare yet greatly appreciated. The cabinet finish, kitchen sink, stove backsplash adds a modern touch. The amount is storage space allows you to organize anything you'd like to bring along for a trip before hitting the road and without having to unpack and reorganize once you've reached your destination. Makes for a fuss-free, enjoyable getaway. Lots of storage kitchen utensils, dishware, pots , pans, small appliances, bakeware, bath towels, toiletries, full kitchen pantry, "his and hers" closets, plus large under bed storage space and overhead cabinets. Small door next to bed can be utilized as a laundry shoot that's accessible from a separate exterior door. Interior and exterior speakers offer great sound with option to watch TV outside as well. Custom ordered unit in 2020, picked up in 2021. From the get-go we had issues. Items added to order were not added when it arrived the dealer had to add them on site, the fit and finish was horrible, door and cabinets did not open and or close correctly, main entrance door didn't lock (the holes didn't line up). after 3 months the slide out started making noises like it was going to fall out of the camper, the front lower facia started coming off on the bottom, the propane tanks were leaking. there were Mutiple water line leaks. took it into the dealer didn't have it for almost 4 months, had to reseal multiple windows. 3 years in we opened it up after winter. did our inspection and there were multiple cracks in the roof seals. resealed them took to dealer reached out to Forest River. Should not have to completely reseal a roof on a 3 year old unit. Forest River kindly told me pound salt that the roof is my issue. FFW sitting in camper notice an odd looking spot on master bedroom wall, poke it finger goes through. open wall up entire master bedroom ceiling and walls are covered in back mold. unit had been leaking for a long time. Took back to dealer opened case with Forest River, again forest river states that I didn't do inspections on it in the time I owned it and it's my fault. Inspections we performed 3 times a year or else I wouldn't have found the need to start resealing windows. Unit is not a giant lawn ornament. I DO NOT RECCOMEND PURCHASING ON! Show less

This RV has been great and while the floor plan isn’t perfect it is a good layout. The only reason we moved on from ours is that our family is outgrowing it. The camper is light and very easy to pull. I noticed a big difference when we got the new longer one. I love our new one but miss the towablility of this model. Rockwood makes a high quality camper and you can tell it. This model has gear driven slides as opposed to cable which is very nice and reliable. Overall a great little camper. Show less

The 2021 Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite 2511S has been an excellent RV value. The rear-bathroom and front-bedroom floor plan makes for the perfect couples trailer. Two slide-outs: bedroom closet and entertainment center dual recliners. Super comfortable queen-sized bed. It travels well over the road—and because it’s so light (5,492 lbs. dry weight)—you can take it on long road trips without staggering fuel bills. Some people have commented about quality . of various features are built and outfitted on Forest River RVs, and I do understand that point of view. However, my experience with my 2021 Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite 2511S has not been degraded by low-quality components, design, or workmanship. This RV is well-made and built for affordability. If you’re in the market for a fun, comfortable RV in the $30K to $40K price range, I recommend you look at the 2021 Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite 2511S travel trailer. Show less

I bought my camper used approximately 8 years ago when it was 5 years old. We are happy with the layout of the camper and the quality of the cabinets, etc. We have had a couple issues that I am not sure if anyone else has experienced? 1). When we set up our camper we cannot perfectly level the camper while running the a/c without water dripping in the floor of the camper. If I slightly raise the side where the doors are (right side) the water will then run off the roof and down the gutter spouts. Not sure why it does this? 2) Last summer when driving home from a camping trip in late July the face of the radio fell out of the wall and was hanging by the wires. I had to just screw in back into the wall to hold it in place, but now the radio doesn’t work. 3). Carbon dioxide detector was chirping in non stop and so I had to cut the wires and put a movable carbon dioxide in the camper to be safe. Show less

Also comes with black stone grille never used stove or oven never used Just lost interest in camping queen mattress also has a heater.covers on all vents.We only have had it out 5 times max. Electric awning slide on side.we used F-150 to tow.Electric leveling jacks Show less

Traveled the country in this RV and absolutely loved it. Easy to pull, tons of amenities. Felt like we bought the perfect 5th Wheel. Family of 4, never felt over crowded but could still fit in most RV parks, even some really small tight spaces. Show less
