We purchased a 2860DS and have had it for almost 3 years now. We love the outdoor kitchen and have loved the layout inside as well. We have traveled over 13,000 miles and have enjoyed every minute. electrical outlets could be dangerous. wires are push in and make contact only when insulation is pierced by pressing into metal tangs. no screws to tighten down on wires. can't believe they would do that. the fresh water inlet is lower than the tank inlet. hose must be held in place and a rag used to block the water from coming back out of the inlet. shower handles turn in opposite directions. that is completely anti-intutive. scalding is possible. cheap, cheap, cheap is the equipment and the engineering. tv antenna will not reach stations 50 miles or more away. Our first RV - purchased new in OH and drove back to AZ. A Forest River Sunseeker Mercedes Benz 2400T. It was planned for just my wife and I - we love the 2400 T layout. Two electronic theatre recliners, with tray tables - instead of a booth (we do not like booths). We have the fold down queen bed, a nice sofa and a pop in dining table. It all works for us. Probably the best feature is the bathroom - that sold my wife. It is the largest in its class, the full width of the RV, with plenty of room and privacy to get dressed in. This is one of the best floor plans for how we RV. Literally everything is accessible while traveling. No need to put the slide out for an overnight stop. Amazing storage- this is due to no bed slide or outdoor kitchen (my preference).we can store our eBikes and tones of other gear in the rear storage. For a class C it has tons of storage bays. My 18 year old says that the bunk over cab is very comfortable for sleeping. We added a 1” eggshell style pad to help with seams. So much interior storage! My one negative here is the wasted space with the wire shelf pull out “pantry” total piece of junk. There is no perfect RV. You will always need modifications /personalizations. We've used this RV for a few years now. It runs excellent and the open floor plan and lots and lots of storage is fantastic!! We had plenty of room to put in 2 normal full size queen mattresses which are much better than the standard RV-type mattresses. Everything just works and living in it for long vacations is wonderful. Never leaked during rain storms, etc, and plenty of hot water. Really like that the frig and freezer keeps working with the electric goes out as it works on propane as well. No food spoilage! Water heater works on both propane and electric as well, so we have hot water and hot showers even if there's no electric hookup. Really love the internal 4,000 watt generator that starts up at the push of a button if electric hookup is not working for long periods of time or boon docking. :) Show less

I had 4 different travel trailers, types and sizes. This Class C makes it easier to travel. I have 55 gallon tank and on average I can travel up to 500 miles by staying at 65mph. Any faster will be roughly 300 to 400 miles. I’m not in a rush. It’s light and is to maneuver. It’s 24ft long so I sometimes can fit in a parking spot by backing up into it. I love it. I have a family of 5 all children are young adults. We all fit nice and comfortable. Also with A/C from the coach and vehicle together it cools faster and heats quicker because it smaller than others. Show less

Overall a nice rv. AC is a bit loud 15K/hp. Had a few minor issues typical of all brands of rv. Perfect for me and the wife. Levelers, full paint, v-10 engine, 6 speed tranny. Watch for the fake leather to peel. I replaced my theater seats with Thomas Payne cloth seats. Show less

We've enjoyed this RV. It has served us well. We've found that we don't use it as we had anticipated. It is time to move on to different adventures. The RV is comfortable and a perfect size for my wife and I. It is very manueverable with no problem in parking lots, city streets or highways. Show less
