Purchased new 2022 Shockwave toy hauler Jan 2023 at CW Mesa, AZ. Dealer prep horrible. Fit and finish horrible. Quality control horrible. Hauled to campsite instead of going home to CO for Winter. First night and every one there after heater failed during night. Been 5 1/2 months and no one can fix. Numerous attempts by CW. Then picked up by Forest River and taken to CA factory for repair. Should do it right? No way Sent with list of about 20 other items also, some fixed, some half done and few they said no to.??? Heater was not fixed, they lost my keys and returned without the tables. After many e-mails and days I was told to find a dealer to take it to. They said they would ship me tables. Only reason they don't get negative 100 stars. So will have to update when and if I ever get a working heater. Other items that were defective: fridge wouldn't run on elec, showers, floor structural, carpet, windows. doors, underbelly, various trim. This thing is a bad 70K paper weight. I have stated my preference to return for a full refund. But once they have your $. So don't make my mistake don't give them the $ find a different brand. I already found mine, do the research. I can't even sell this thing until I find a tech that can fix it. A reputable co would take it back and deal with it and let me move on.

We have had electrical issues, brought it in to fix, wasn’t fixed, brought it back to fix, got it back and went to use it and water is leaking somewhere around the toilet, now having tongue power Jack issues. One of the cabinet doors doesn’t close right no matter how much I mess with the hinges. The leather seats are paper thin and getting worn off. For a 45k camper I should never have to end up paying for a hotel which has happened multiple times now. I would give quality ZERO stars if I could. Piece of crap.

Bought new in 2017 and have made multiple trips across the country. Love the layout and versatility. We dry camp regularly with our UTV in the Arizona desert. Extremely disappointed with the complete lack of quality of this RV. Debris, nails and staples, wearing thru the floor, metal shavings and saw dust constantly falling from behind the microwave, when traveling. Previously owned a 2007 Forest River Rockwood travel trailer and was very happy with it.

Not very happy with our purchase. The on demand water heater has never worked right so are replacing with a standard water heater. On our way to AZ for the winter we were pulling in a station to gas up and a tire mechanic at a near by shop noticed our spare tire was loose. While fixing it he noticed the tires had chunks coming off on the inside. As they were replacing the tires they noticed the lee springs were undersized for the camper and the tires had been hitting the underside of the camper when we went over bumps. We replaced those and the shackles with ones rated for the camper when fully loaded. Could have been a serious accident had we lost the tires going 75 mph! Thank God the tire guy noticed the spare tire dangling! And the charging stations aren’t working! Would not recommend a Forest River!

We bought this 2019 shockwave new from tacoma RV who was amazing through the purchase as well as the issues we had!!!!! Forest River is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is terrible, they do not back their product, they will find any excuse they can to skirt around all issues. The trailer itself is very poorly made and with the cheapest quality material they Could find. Almost every screen is missing a clip, the bathroom shower is very loud and feels soft in the floor, the fan in the bathroom did not work, the stereo was wired wrong, the slide was installed incorrectly which caused a crack in the outer panel, the caulking was peeling off inside and out on several areas, the cabinet door fell off the hinge the first time we opened it, the slide bed is not level, you name it and pretty much it was not right. I emailed and called forest river for three months and they avoided my calls and did not respond... they will not extend our warranty And they stalled on approving the repairs. Our trailer was in the shop for a month and was still not completed. Then COVID-19 shut them down so we did not have it back for almost three months. Forest river makes a terrible product, has even worse customer service, and I would not recommend them to anyone for anything! Buyer beware!

Poor workmanship on this unit as the putty that goes behind the trim that covers the joint between the front and sidewalls hardens and allows water to seep in behind (still looks ok from the exterior). The fiberglass skin then separates from the cheap luan plywood that is part of the skin due to water. Had to take the unit to a experienced fiberglass repair shop and he was amazed at how cheaply the assembly was done and how unsafe something such as this could be on a major highway (Trans Canada in this case). Also had an axle problem, due to poor quality control and after 4,000 dollars spent on the fiberglass and axle repairs I feel the unit is as it should have been done at the factory. Would not recommend their product unless you are willing to spend some money right off the start to correct the poor workmanship. I am writing to Transport Canada as well as both of these issues could be serious on a major highway to both the user and other traffic.

We bought this brand new. It fit our side by side perfectly. It had all the bells and whistles. We camp "off grid".It had a generator,on demand water heater, solar panel, inverter everything. For 2 years we NEVER had a hot shower, we finally had to switch it to an old school water heater and paid a free lance company to install it, the dealer could NOT fix the on-demand one.The inverter drains my batteries as fast as the solar panel charges them. The lights are LED.What a joke. The burn out,or just Don't work. The circuits have been blowing fuses. The kitchen drawers have had to be re-supported and rebuilt. The shower pan had to be supported and could not be used by anyone over a hundred pounds (maybe). Once we used the shower, we found the drain on the shower leaked.. I feel that the products in these trailers are as CHEAP or INFERIOR as they can find.So what does that say about their workmanship?? I would NEVER recommend this or any other Forrest River product to anyone.
