Owned this Travel tr for two years now, one small issue with spare tire ( goodyear replaced under warranty @ no cost) . Owned three T/Ts in 16 years . Rockwood well above others for build quality. Upgrading to larger model due to retirement. Will only shop for rockwood. Although they are under the Forrest River brand. Rockwood/flagstaff was original company purchased by Warren Buffet many years ago. All other F/R products are built elsewhere in the country, but rockwood trailers are still made in original factory. I bought my camper Dec 21st 2024. I was on the road to live out of it for 2+ months for my job by Jan 15 2025. When purchased, I was told to leave winterized for the trip, due to having a tank less water heater and driving in below freezing temps. In My 7 day drive, my vent from the stove, flew off from the outside, the lid to my propane cover flew off and my caps to the back bumper flew off. I get to my destination and I called RV Mobile for repairs, left a VM asking for a return call. This was Jan 23rd. On Jan 24, I had my water filled up and we were flushing out antifreeze and water was spraying everywhere. We shut everything down and I called RV Mobile again and left another message. 4 days go, and I still have not received a return call. I called back, asked for Manager. Now I have an apt! Water Pump is broken right out of the gate! They order a new part, it comes in. The week they were supposed to come back, my fridge starts with an E4 code. Now, my fridges isn't staying cold and I am losing food. I called RV .Mobile again and report the fridge, this is Feb 14th before I have another appointment. This time to look at fridge and fix the water pump. FEB 14th apoint is my apt, and RV Mobile forgot to pencil my confirmation In. So they call and tell me they will get me wiggled in. Couple hours later RV Mobile calls and says the water pump is not the right part and they cannot fix that day, but will come to look at the fridge. Later this evening, I went to turn the heat on and now my heat isn't working. It's 9 pm on a Friday with temps in low 40⁰s over the weekend, needless to say at this point, I am very upset and about this entire situation. No water, no fridge and no heat. All the things I spent thousands of dollars on, NOT working for me as needed..... That following Thursday, RV Mobile comes out to check my heat, now, we find that when RV Mobile analyzed the fridge, pulled a wire out which caused heat to not work- that's fixed thank goodness!! Fast forward to March 19th (my birthday) I get a call from RV Mobile (no mind you, my water, covers and vents are STILL NOT FIXED), THIS CALL!!!! RV Mobile tells me my fridge arrived from carriers and it's now damaged from a forklift.. I am supposed to leave work in 2 weeks and go home. Need here for 10 weeks and have nothing fixed, nothing working for the reasons I bout this camper. Limited on people who can do manufactured warranty- there is much to blame on Forest Rivers products as well as their certified technicians that is seriously lacking qualifications. Show less

This is the worst camper I have ever seen! It’s cheap workmanship and lousy quality! I will never purchase any Forest River product again! EVERY time we take it out we have to work on it!!!! From the heating to the plumbing and wood products like the drawers and shades. We have had to fix so many things. I feel like I need to take electric, wood, and plumbing supplies EVERY time I take this pice of crap out!!!!! I am now trying to sell it and get rid of it. It’s a LEMON of a product. Please don’t believe the hype of “Made by the Amish” if this is their quality they wouldn’t last a week living in this kind of camper! Run don’t walk away from any dealership that carries this CHEAP inferior product. I wish I had never ever purchased this money pit of a product. Show less

have lived in for 2 years in Texas. once had hose burst under entertainment center and freezer door hinge broke but besides that no problems. i bought for what i thought was a fair deal. it is great for 1 or 2 people. it is winterized so pipes under are protected. 2 ac units. 2 closets. very happy with my trailer. We purchased a 2023 Vibe rear kitchen in October 2022. Love the floor plan, beautiful to look at . We have used the camper 9 times and in August of 2024 we went to use the over the bed cabinets and saw that the "wood look" paper was peeling from the sides of the cabinet. Looking further we found the same paper peeling in various places including the entire top of the pull out section. We called the dealer who said it was no longer under warranty. My husband called Forest River directly and they said oh yeah, we had a bad batch of glue. Two days later we found the entire bedroom closet door and jam had fallen off the wall. There is a crack in the top corner of the shower wall. The bathroom faucet handles are cracking and falling off. The camper jack fell down when we were coming home from a trip - scraping the highway all the way home. We had to buy and install a new one. The kitchen seats broke with the first use as the screws were not completely in the correct place. We have since had to reinforce both booth bottoms. Just one issue after another. I have never been so disappointed in such poor use of materials and workmanship for something that we still owe $30,000 on. We paid $50,000. What a complete waste of hard earned money. Do NOT buy a Forest River product!! Show less

It was purchased new and mainly a couples camper, but have had others stay a night. Had to have the bulb seal around the slide out replaced before purchase as it was coming off near the bottom of one side. Also had to return to the dealer, for a water line behind the shower that was not correctly installed. I noticed the noise when connecting to water and quickly shut it off. It was fixed while I waited. The slide fuse was installed too deep and the electric tongue jack went bad in about month 7, both were repaired/replaced while I waited (about 2 hours). There are odd and ends things that have needed attention that I have addressed (door hinges, latches, etc.) The TV antenna doesn't seem to work which we typically stream so have not addressed. Upgraded from a Flagstaff Microlite as we wanted something larger with a better floorplan. Found exactly that with this unit. We tow it with a 1/2 ton F-150 with the max tow package and really have very little issues with it other than occasional minor sway in higher winds. KEY to our towing experience was going with a WeighSafe weight distribution hitch system which I consider to be the best one out there. I have tried three other wd towing systems and this one is far superior as this trailer is very heavy; especially in the tongue. Build quality and durability have proven to be outstanding thus far and we are very happy with this travel trailer. Show less

This travel trailer has everything, thats a fact. Unfortunately every time we use it, we think "why the heck didn't they put it right" The quality is tge worst I've ever seen ln an RV Everything is fitted with Brad nails or staples (screws might have been too expensive) Overall built quality 2/10 Insulation 0/10 AC 0/10 Bathroom quality 2/10 Shower 1/10 Kitchen 3/10 Range 0/10 (boil don't cook) Outdoor kitchen layout 9/10 but quality 1/10 Show less

Easy to tow. Loved the layout and the storage spaces. Fridge a little small for a longer trip. Murphybed top and easy to handle. The outside light on top was good and the blue lights on the bottom gave a cozy ambiente. Disappointed in the warranty work. Never able to fix a wallpaper problem. Show less

This camper is exactly what my family needed. It allowed our son to bring a friend and gave me and my husband plenty of space. Loved the slide out dinette and the outside grill and fridge area. It was perfect weight to pull with our Pilot. I can’t say enough about how much we loved our Salem FX Show less
