It was built during the pandemic, so everything that could go wrong did. 3 of the 5 slides were bad, the refrigerator doors wouldn't open all the way, the custom Morryde independent suspension was installed incorrectly and almost caused a catastrophic failure, (I'm still dealing with the problem now 2.5 years later) awnings installed wrong, shower walls delaminated, tank sensors replaced and still don't work, etc. The manuals and other would be helpful paperwork was virtually worthless. I asked for a schematic of the plumbing and the manufacturer stated they don't have one. The electrical system Is designed to work as the coach is delivered so if you want to install a good solar unit it's very difficult. Riverstone doesn't offer a good solar unit. As an example of the warranty service... When I discovered that the refrigerator doors would not open all the way because the cabinet was blocking them the response from the dealer was, "WELL THAT'S NOT UNDER WARRANTY" Now for the good news. Recently I ran into a couple that had a 2024 Riverstone Legacy and they stated that they had the coach for about 4 months and NOTHING was wrong. They have been living in it and found everything worked as it should. Therefore, I put my nightmare experience down to Covid.

This 2022 Riverstone Legacy “Luxury Package” 42FSKG is a 44'10” Fifth-Wheel Toy Hauler up for sale. This has been the home to my wife and I for 2 years and are now executing our exit plan by moving into a sticks and bricks in Massachusetts. This RV is ready now. I have kept very good care of this RV and have used “RVLife Pro – Maintenance” to document my maintenance. I can provide printout if desired. This RV was purchased at Bills Happy Camper, which if you have a Riverstone you know who they are and their great reputation. We have traveled 13000 miles while working remotely since June 0f 2022.

you need to think long and hard before you buy one of these fifth wheels . We purchased ours 10 months ago and has been in the repair shop 8 of those months . It is currently still in the repair shop . Where do I start ? We have already gone through the second entry door now trying to get it replaced for the third time , the second door started coming apart four hours after leaving the dealership with it. The so called mac daddy water heater is absolute junk , cant even get a Luke warm shower. second trip about this problem . had to put our vacation off a second time because of repairs . finally left on our 4 week trip after camper was supposed to be fixed . stopped for the evening and within 4 hours the door began separating and would not close again . When we got ready to shower the hot water still does not work after being told it was repaired . 102 degrees is the hottest it would get . We gave up and got ready to roll up and now the bedroom slide will not come in , Its broken , It took 4 people and several hours to finally get it back inside the camper . We threw in the towel. I'm so disgusted in this outrageously priced camper I'm going Monday morning to talk to an attorney and make them give me my money back

I have owned this motorhome since I bought it new in 2019. I have driven it from Seattle to Disney World, and to the national parks of Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana and many places in between. I have 37k miles on it and have lived in it since shortly after I bought it. As far as manufacturing and assembly, all the important pieces work well except for the refrigerator. When it was a few months old, we had a torrential rainstorm in Salt Lake City and the refrigerator outside panel was not installed properly. As a result water poured into the refrigerator workings and it was damaged. After warranty repair, it works acceptably but ice cream will get a little soft in very hot weather. Other than that, a few small trim pieces in the coach were not installed correctly. I have had no other issues with the generator, the furnace, the two wonderful air conditioners, and the three TV's which are Furion. They have excellent pictures and one is very large. I tow a Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk behind it and it does fine. I have had no suspension work on it and I find it very controllable. The only time I get white knuckles is when I am going over a narrow bridge with opposing traffic. The motorhome is wider than some of the lanes on county roads and it is tight on some state highways. I read about people who have all kinds of trouble but I think it is just like buying anything, some people are not lucky, and some people are. I replaced the king mattress that came with it with a memory cell mattress, and I sleep very well in it. I have two big dogs, and they have plenty of room to stretch out. I love my FR3 and it works great as a home I can go almost anywhere in. I would highly recommend it for its relatively low price and its reliability, as well as its comfort.

Nov 1 2021 This is an update to my two previous reviews. I have now attempted to contact Forest River once by phone and twice by email. ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE! As of this writing we had no choice but to move into our trailer with all the previous items not repaired. The list gets longer. We have been in it 3 weeks now. The Master bath toilet started spewing air up through the water in the bowl splashing crap everywhere. I contacted our dealer Legacy RV in Salt Lake City Utah yet again. They said the vent pipe must have fallen into the tank. DUH! They were apparently only "authorized" by FR to replace one of the leaking leveling jacks mentioned earlier. There are 3 of 6 leaking at this point. They wanted me to drop everything and bring it down so they could fix a few things. We were in the middle of a move from a home we had been in for 20 years! As stated we have now used the trailer for 3 weeks since purchased in early May. One of the Fan-tastic vent fan controls locked up in the spare bath. I removed the control from the wall and unplugged it and then plugged it in again. It is working again but I don't know for how long. This trailer has been towed 30 miles by the Dealer (Legacy RV) in which they damaged our barn doors by not securing them. and 75 miles by us. 60 mile round trip to get very little repaired and 15 more to our new landing spot. FOREST RIVER SUCKS! They may have had a great idea but, they HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR SUPPORT!

Purchased this unit May 4th 2021 We were absolutely taken by the layout. That was the good part of the story. We did not have a 5th wheel hitch in our truck at the time and the Dealer Legacy RV here in Utah offered to deliver it about 30 miles. The trailer arrived with one of the outside access doors swinging wildly. Luckily it was not damaged. We opened the unit and both barn style doors had not been secured and slid back and forth up the canyon and beat up the jamb and trashed the hardware. We were assured this would get repaired right away. They came back up and still were not able to repair and told us they had to order parts. We sat in the unit and started looking for any other issues. We noticed the trim behind the toilet looked like someone used a machine gun to nail the trim on it. We noticed the big vanity mirror had a chip out of the corner. (nothing to do with the loose doors) The interior is a soft gray color. The restroom door (lower) had a brown stain on the back side about eye level. The walk- in closet door looks like a 3rd grader had hung it. (huge gaps on the latch side. Latch was hanging out past the door edge so it would latch. The left top of the header had a large gap. On the backside of this door was another brown stain bigger than the other door. (like a large bird flew over and let go) The fancy logo on the valance in the dining area had almost fallen off. (no fasteners or glue whatsoever) We wanted to make sure that unit was sealed well so we wouldn't have any rodent issues. I opened a small access panel on the side of the belly storage and could immediately see three holes and could see the grass under the trailer. We started having issues with the Lippert Jack system. Two of the hydraulic jacks were leaking fluid. We got a hitch in our truck and hauled the unit back to the dealer. They patched the holes and reprogrammed the leveling system.Trailer return home. Jump to July 2nd I get a text from the service manager saying that they have only received the walk-in closet door, but no other parts. We bought this trailer to live in as we knew we needed to move. Next I am told that Forest River had to "approve" the repairs. So the parts had not even been ordered yet! I sent a text, I thought to my spouse, but accidentally sent it to Legacy RV saying they hadn't even ordered the F%$@ing! parts yet. Then I get a text back saying that if I want to give them my CC# to pay for all the parts and labor up front and seek reimbursement from Forest River, they will order the parts! WTF? I replied that I had purchased the "extended warranty" through FR so they should be able to reimburse themselves. July 14th warranty finally approved. Skip to Aug 20th still no parts. Trailer has not been used at all for over 3 months now. Self leveling system started beeping. looked at the display and reset it alarm. It went away for a few days and started again, and again, and again. Skip to October 5th we were supposed to move the trailer to an RV that we prepaid a reservation on. I went out and the batteries were dead. We have a solar panel and the lights were not left on. After recharging the beeping started up again. The display on the Lippert panel is lit, but blank. On top of all of this, there is a recall on one of the slide-outs! We have had the unit 5 months now and paid about 115K for it.We have made 5 payments of $1000 on this, and another coming up on the Oct 15th. We prepaid to reserve an RV space that we cannot move to. All we have to show for it is a big shiny piece of crap still sitting in the driveway of the home that we were supposed to have moved from today. Forest River should reimburse us for our expenses and refund our money for the obviously useless extended warranty! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU EXPECT TO GET ANYTHING FIXED!!!
