This bunkhouse model is surprisingly livable for my wife, myself, and our dog. He has mad himself at home in the lower bunk.
But the fit and finish of this unit leave a lot to be desired.
Their audio system is supposed to be able to differentiate inside versus outside, but that does not work.
The mattress quit after a week, and being a non-standard size, was difficult to replace (short-king 65”x72”).
The drawers in the kitchen have pulled from their slides.
Their Summit TV is not a smart TV, and is incompatible with some streaming applications if you happen to use an iPhone.
You have to be certain to use a regulator with enough volume, or your showers with the tankless water heater will go cold often!
And we’ve had intermittent alarm codes given from the water heater from shortly sherry seeing it up.
Sooner of this may be due to it being new, but that seems odd.
The deadbolt on the entry door is broken and needs replaced.
And then there was manufacturing debris all over the unit. Metal shavings, saw dust, staples, and even the material from a hole saw. None of which were caught by the manufacturer or Camping World.
Outside of these stresses, it has been a positive experience. I just don’t think I’ll go with Forest River going forward.
