Fleetwood Class A reviews

We have a 2023 Fleetwood Flair 32N a year ago. We traded in a Thor Quantum Class B due to the very poor quality not to mention not having much room to work with. We have been incredibly happy with the Flair. Having a bath and 1/2 is a huge plus and having such a large bedroom and an abundance of closet space is awesome. Of course, there were a number of bugs to work out along the way. Some rattles and squeaks that I was able to fix so inside it is very calm and no noise. I can say that the suspension upgrades were very helpful. I highly suggest the following upgrades: Upgrade to Koni EVO, Sumo's front and back and Trac-Bar. WOW, what a difference the following upgrades have made. Day and night difference in the overall driving experience both with handling and dampening the interior sounds and vibrations within the rig. I was able to replace the shocks along with the front sumo's myself with very little effort. The rear Sumo's were a bit more challenging due to the fact you have to remove the rear wheels to access accordingly so I had that job done by an RV shop and had them also install the Trac-Bar at the same time as well. Previous owner. Had problem with blowing a battery fuse. I had to keep a few around because the service people were always baffled? I had great power. I drove it up from the valley all the way to Washington. Faster than I should have. The auto leaving worked great. The bays had lots of space. I never towed any thing Show less

A 2000 class A RV. Even though is a 23 it is an excellent road condition, just bought new tires and the engine and Onan Generator have been recently service. The hitch weight is rated at 5000 lbs. It has new carpet, new furniture and it looks nice, a must see. Please see the add for more details. Show less

Well maintained rv. Good interior and exterior qualities. Original factory equipment in good operating condition including upgraded tv, tires, well maintained roof, ac, 5kw Onan generator, factory equipped sound system, 8.1cu engine, dual slides, front and rear jacks Show less

A wonderful motorhome for our many trips to Florida pulling our Mustang. No problems but we are 90 now and need to sell it. Keeping it in a heated garage has kept it in good condition We would gladly make more trips south but time marches on and we must deal with reality. Show less

We have had a great time with this motor home.It runs well and is very comfortable to sleep in. It has the Allison transmission and the Chevy work horse chassis . It has low mileage and very few scratches and dings. A very good and reliable rig. The tires are in great condition and it has a ten thousand pound towing capability Show less

Great motorhome. There is something about a durable, reliable, and fun RV. Hopefully everyone can enjoy the luxury of a vehicle like this someday. Last thing I’ll say is the batteries do need to be replaced every 20,000 miles ish. There are 4 of them and they are 6 volts each. The 12 volt ones won’t fit In the space to be able to have 2 of them. Show less

Water coming in at the sidewall of the long (passenger side) slide and the presence of rust. Water coming in the basement storage area, shorted out the slide motor and control box. Electrical issues with the inverter, batteries, several outlets. Ice maker hose has flooded the rig twice. We regret buying it, we snowbird down south and everytime we have to spend thousands for repairs that the extended warranty is supposed to cover and while home the rig is in the shop for numerous issues. $189,000 pluse a $30,000 cash down payment and we can’t even enjoy it. Awesome coach. Haven't had any major problems. Built well, drives well. Super spacious. Looks great. Tons of compliments about the color scheme. Tons of storage space. Comfortable ride. The leather chairs and sofa's are very comfortable. I highly recommend Fleetwood's Bounder. Show less

The best RV I have ever owned. The quality is far beyond what you can buy from 2017 and newer. I have owned 3 RVs before this one, Class C, Tow behind, and 5th wheel tow behind. All models were newer than 2017. The 2012 Fleetwood Expeditions are built solid with thick walls constructed with metal frame, plywood panels and fiberglass outer shell. The roof is 1 piece fiberglass on top of 1/2 inch plywood around metal frames. I weigh 260 lbs and walk on my RV roof all the time with no issues, no deflection. Gas lines are copper pipes with flared fittings to last. All electrical wiring for 120 VAC is 12 AWG AND 14 AWG Romex, residential wiring. All Inverter connections are quick snap connections. Access panels located in specific areas to access plumbing, gas and electrical lines for easy access fir repairs/replacements. Original hot water heater and gas heaters still work and were recently serviced. I have driven this rig in northeast US, during heavy rain and snow storms, with no issues. Camped in 95F and 10F weather with no cooling or freezing issues. The rig is heavy, with Freightliner classy, built like a tank. The cummins diesel easily pulls my 10K car hauler trailer with 2022 Ram 1500 truck loaded. Show less
