The 2016 Crossroads ST290QB is a very nice travel trailer that is towable with any full size pickup or SUV at under 5,800 lbs. dry weight. The wide stance axels make it very stable while towing. LED lighting in and out make it dry camping friendly to conserve battery usage. The quad bunks in the bunkhouse at the rear of the trailer is great for kids and friends and the trifold sofa bed is great for visiting adults. The outside kitchen is nice with a small refrigerator to keep drinks cold so as not to need to go in and out of the trailer or need an extra cooler with ice. It also has a wash sink and 2 burner cooktop which are convenient. The power awning and tongue jack make setup a little quicker and easier.

Owned 4 months and wall started to move between living room and bunkhouse. Everything is stapled together with staples no bigger than a straight pin. Trim stapled to cover up the edges of wallboard popping off. Ceiling covering coming down. Storage draw glides in bathroom stapled to 1x1 which are stapled to thin wall board. So many mechanical things have gone wrong. Bedroom storage cabinet not caulked to frame, see light and feel air. Moisture comes in back under bed storage. Goes back next week to manufacturer for repairs but not holding my breath that it will be fixed correctly. Wish for old traders back. Only pro is weight and size, and outside kitchen that works part of the time. Maybe we have a lemon and others are better. Will see a cousin next week about looking into Lemon Law

We bought this unit on April 2022. It needed repair even before we possessed it. We had issues with graphics, slideout, door, leveling pad, table brackets, leaks under sink, Stains on upholstery. New trailer. When we finally got out, more problems showed up. When repaired, Got out again and more issues with door, outside kitchen bracket failed, Now awning needs work. All the expensive add on warranties are not applicable. Terrible quality. We used it three times in 5 months and hate it. The convenient floor plan is irreverent now. Service is non stop.

The Good: We love the floor plan of this RV. It's very roomy with opposing slides in the den area and an island bar in the adjoining kitchen. There is a good amount of storage space. The essential areas - bed and kitchen - are accessible when the slides are retracted, so you don't have to deploy the slides if you're overnighting in a parking lot. We really like the outdoor kitchen and will probably never buy another RV without one. The outdoor kitchen also features a swivel for the TV, so you don't have to drag a TV outside. The Bad: The front cap was painted with a non-UV-resistant paint. This is a commonly known factory defect that is frequently discussed on the Crossroads forum. It faded terribly after only two years. We decided to have it repainted because it looked so bad (not cheap). Recently, both back corners of the coach rotted out. There was no obvious culprit from the outside. The RV tech who repaired it said the factory had failed to seal a key area on both sides of the trailer. Our skylights are due for replacement since they became brittle and now have numerous leaking cracks. All the furniture had to be replaced and the dinette had to be reupholstered (not cheap either) because the fake leather - "pleather" - began to peel terribly after year six. When I do repairs or maintenance and access the hidden areas of the camper, you can tell the overall workmanship is shoddy. The wiring looks like a rat's nest, access holes are haphazardly raggedly cut, screws are mislocated - all telltale signs of "throwing them together as fast as possible." Will I buy another Crossroads? No. We were seduced by the floor plan and beauty, but were also burned by the considerable amount of money we've spent to keep it in good repair.

Cougar 22mls or Crossroads 253rb. ad to have a king bed, good bathroom/shower and the outdoor kitchen was the deciding edge over the Cougar. Very happy with the quality of our unit. No issues of any kind with 5 trips under our belt. By far the best couples unit we have seen anywhere. Upgrades we did. Dometic 320 potty, upgraded door window with shade, Fantastic fan and cover to replace the 4" fart fan, electronic door lock set

Just returned from a two week trip. Screen door will not latch. Trim fell off the couch. Front panel fell off the furnace. Refrigerator door coming loose. Ceiling above the bunk coming down. Rear window opens going down the road, latch doesn’t work. Roof vent leaks. Have to put towels on the floor when raining. Then new we hooked up water and had six leaks in the plumbing. Just a total piece of junk. Will be traded in ASAP.
