I was tired of tent camping, and this is the next step. Get up off the ground, be protected from the weather, have a lockable door, and have air conditioner and heater. I researched many small campers before I purchased this Aliner scout it is lite at 1400 lbs and can be towed by almost any vehicle. It’s a fast set up and easy for this 60yr old 5’3” woman. It’s a great choice for a single person, couple, or couple with young children as the dinette folds down to a large twin and it has another full-size bed. I would highly recommend the Aliner scout.

We purchased the Titanium 10' trailer. It is a joy to tow, set up and use. What I don' like about it is ... poor workanship. The laminate on the counters and tables are short on trim .. they stopped the trim about an inch where the trim ends exposing an ugly particle board groove. The screws around the window were so tight the plastic has cracked at the screw locations. The spare tire was supported by a welded bracket, the weld broke at the bumper and where the tire attached. The weight of the tire bent the metal at a 45 degree angle away from the trailer and the bouncing also put a dent in the back of our trailer. The support bracket is toast and the bumped needs to be rewelded. The way the doors open inside the unit is odd. It is difficult to access stuff because of the swing .. sliders would have been better. The table top is not made to be used as part of bed support so you have this heavy ass table top you need to put somewhere when you use the table area as bed. I could go on and on. I would recommend if you are considering one, buy the cheaper model and then you can customize it to your liking. We wanted the higher lift though which is not available on all models.

The interior led lights have an always on blue glow behind the on-off button. It's always lit when the camper has power. I need dark and it was like a constant bunk light shining down on you at night. I had to cover the whole light with cardboard and tape to block the obnoxious light. Other than that great, fun little camper. Tows great, easiest set up ever. I'm loving it.

This site doesn't show the correct year of our trailer which is a 2020. This was the worst purchase we've ever made. From year 1 (2020) it's been nothing but problems. Every year since we purchased it every time we try to take it out for an adventure there's something wrong with it. We've had electrical problems, water problems, window problems and leakage problems. In my opinion it's poorly built. Currently we're experiencing two electrical issues, 1) if we try to use the electric option for the refrigerator and have the trailer plugged into household current it blows our house circuit breaker, 2) when we turn the switch on for the water pump to use the water tank the fuse in the trailer blows. So what we have to do for the refrigerator is use the LP option. As far as the water is concerned we have to use the water hookup. What that means is we can't do dispersed camping with the trailer unless we bring a separate water container and not use the tank that's part of the trailer. We have used approved professional repair dealers to try to fix the problems. However, every time we get it back there's something else wrong with it or the problem is not solved. Even though we used the dealer where we purchased the trailer to replace the windows the leakage was not fixed. We took the trailer back 3 times for this problem. The last time we ended up paying for part of the repair because both the dealer and the manufacturer said it was now out of warranty even though it was brought in twice for the same problem DURING the warranty period. The manufacturer did pay for the new windows again we still had to pay for the labor. To be fair, it was at a "discounted" rate. However, we feel we should not have had to pay for it at all. We went with this trailer for it's ease of use and purportedly low maintenance. While it is easy to hookup and tow the frustration that accompanies this trailer IS NOT WORTH the price that it lists for. It's unreliable and prone to failure. The offroad option, the Titanium option, is what drew us to this trailer. If you do decide to purchase an A-Liner trailer we highly suggest you get the extended warranty option. We also suggest that you inquire from the dealer if they have experience specifically doing repairs on this manufacturer and any of their models. We've sent several feedback messages to the company with all of our contact information and the company does NOT respond to any requests for answers.

We towed with an EcoBoost Ford Transit and had space to travel with our two dogs, one80lb, the other 20lb. When our old girl passed, our 20lb girl fits in to the Aliner with us no problem. We traveled in Northeast Pennsylvania, Upstate New York & Vermont. Our Aliner was always easy to set up, we felt like we were in a Hotel Room as soon as we would pull in to a campground. We outfitted our Aliner trailer with LED lights, so when we were in a campground at night it was fun and inviting. If you have an adventure spirit, and want to experiement with an easy to use RV camper, Try Aliner!

Have had this rig since new in March, 2022. Took it on an extended trip from Florida to Montana(grandkids), then over to Minnesota, then to Oklahhoma, then to east Texas, then to home. It went very well which made it ever so pleasureable for us. It worked perfectly for us, was very easy to pull behind our SUV, and sets up literally in less than a minute!!! Then you must plug in shore power and the water. Got home and decided we would go with AirBnB since we are aging into our later years. Maybe we jumped too soon into the purchase, but st least someone else can benefit from our experiences. Plus we're selling it with much extra stuff we found very handy to bring with us on our travels. It represents a very good buy for someone!

Tows beautifully, no problems with braking nor accelerating. I am really enjoying this rig. But at our advanced ages now(late 70's), the wife decided she was tired of the long haul camping trips. So it's time to let someone else enjoy those attributes of the rig. And that is the primary reason we're selling it. From now on, we'll do the Air BnB routine for our adventures!! Which is a shame since we bought the rig nine months ago, and now we're selling it. Check it out in the enclosed ad, you'll see the enjoyment possible with this rig.

I am a first time trailer owner. I did a lot of research on line (You Tube has GREAT informative videos!) and had long conversations with the dealer before I decided to purchase the Scout Lite. I admit that there was still a lot I didn’t know but at that point I figured I needed to just plunge in. My Subaru Outback has 2700 lb towing capacity and that limitation was a primary driver of my choice. The trailer is under 1500 lb dry weight. Perfect so far. The roof and walls were very easy to open. But the quality of the components leaves something to be desired and that’s probably intentional to reduce weight. After using it once I noticed that the roof locks seemed to be out of position, causing grinding and obvious wearing away of the insulation near the connector holes on the roof. The rear window shade would not raise fully on one side. I called Aliner and they immediately said they would send me a new shade. After at least a month and not having received the shade I called Aliner back and they said they had sent the shade to the dealer. I called the dealer and they said they had had the shade for awhile but never called me to schedule an appointment for installation. Well I finally made an appointment and the replacement was installed perfectly. Then I noticed that one of the windows wouldn’t latch securely. All these issues made me guess that the entire frame was out of alignment. That’s what happens when the brand is so popular that it sells immediately after it is shipped to the showroom.I felt as though I should act fast as it might be a year before a a new order could be filled. Other issues included cabinet latches that pull out of the doors easily, the bubble windows on either end of the trailer are too low for an adult’s head to fit into when sitting at the dinette or at the other end. I should have waited for a model with dormers. Others are that insulation at the peak of the roof became loose and now needs to be tucked back into place when the roof is raised. The weather stripping around the door started to fall off right away. The front door lock is finicky and sort of flimsy. There is a large storage compartment under the front bed but it was awkward to access as you had to lift the entire cushion out to open it. I solved that problem by dividing the cushion at the edge of the compartment door and making a new cover for the smaller piece. Then all I needed to do was lift out the small cushion. The sink is really too small to use. The interior is really too small for more than 1 person and their gear. I weathered a couple of torrential California rainstorms this winter and stayed dry. I love the leather-like fabric on the cushions but I made dog-proof ones to go over these just in case. The most aggravating problems were electrical as the 12V outlet near the forward bed does not work. On my 3rd camping trip both 110 outlets failed and the problem was not related to GFI, fuses or breakers. Might be related to work I had done, not construction of trailer. You need to use a Zamp solar panel if you want to charge the battery using the Zamp connector on the trailer. I bought Jackery solar and will need to connect the panel cord to the shore power outlet using an adapter. Bottom line: Final assessment: good for single campers with very simple needs who do not need a lot of gear to store. I need a bigger, more comfortable trailer.
