Just letting you know that we call our 2023 Airstream Bambi 19cb trailer "Shiny Lemon" This is what I tell everyone I meet about Airstreams: I have a 2023 Airstream Bambi 19cb trailer that I bought new in October 2022. Almost every system in it has failed. Batteries went out at 10 months because of a faulty design in the WfCo 8955lis converter. I replaced the batteries and converter at my own expense as I had a trip planned for a month of travel in a few days and working with the dealer would have meant canceling the trip. The furnace failed multiple times for various reasons but several times just because a part called the sail switch failed. Cabinets fell off the wall on two occasions. Our Girard water heater started leaking at 2 years and two weeks. Parts warranty expired at 2 years. We chose to put in a Truma AquaGo Comfort water heater partly because people love them and I'm hopeful it will last longer than the 2 years our Girard water heater lasted. This was last week. Generally, the components now used by Thor (who owns Airstream) have been cost reduced and manufactured by conglomerate companies, like dometic, with quality suffering. We no longer recommend Airstream to anyone. Vitrifigo refrigerators replaced by Isotherm. If you are unfortunate and have a Vitrafrigo refrigerator, immediately purchase a temperature monitor so that you can log the temperature over time. Refrigerators need to keep the temperature below 40 F and mine couldn't do this in hot weather. You won't know unless you make the effort to find this out with a temperature logger. Vitrafrigo refrigerators only have a replacement warranty for 1 year so you need to find this within 12 months. Ours will be replaced next week as our dealer went from fixing the Vitrafrigos inability to stay cold to an inability to turn off when the correct temperature is reached. Even with the control knob rotated into the off position! This over the course of of many return visits from June to December! Just for the refrigerator! Lead batteries replaced by Battleborn. Also pricy. But worth it. Skip the Airstream. If you do buy an Airstream, try to get a precovid one. 2019 or earlier. If you follow my footsteps and buy new. Use it a lot for the first year. Bring it back to the dealer repeatedly to get things fixed. Repeatedly. Buy a temperature sensor that logs the temperature in your refrigerator. Get your refrigerator fixed if it can't keep the temperature below 40F. Most subsystem warrantees are only a year. Many things on the Airstream are only a month, such as the door not closing. Holes in the roof are not covered by warranty, at least the two holes in our roof were not covered about 18 months after purchase. Fantastic fan lids have a defect in that they fracture where they are screwed into the lid. I glued a wood block to address this as new lids are backordered because so many are breaking. Buy a 2019 or earlier, better yet, buy a Lance or some other brand not made by Thor. -Stephen Witte -

2023 Airstream Globetrotter 25FB Twin Bed Review The 2023 Airstream Globetrotter 25FB Twin Bed is a stunning travel trailer that combines timeless Airstream design with modern luxury and practicality. With its distinctive aluminum exterior, sleek lines, and compact size, the Globetrotter 25FB is a perfect blend of classic Airstream charm and contemporary features aimed at the discerning traveler. Design & Build Quality: 9/10 Airstream has long been known for its high-quality craftsmanship, and the 2023 Globetrotter 25FB is no exception. The iconic polished aluminum exterior gleams under the sun, ensuring that this camper stands out wherever you take it. Inside, the Globetrotter is equally impressive, with a clean, minimalist design that utilizes premium materials like walnut cabinetry, ultra-leather seating, and expansive windows that offer panoramic views. The build quality is top-notch, as expected from Airstream. The aluminum body is not only eye-catching but incredibly durable, providing excellent insulation, soundproofing, and resistance to rust and corrosion. The smooth ride and stability are noticeable when towing, thanks to its robust frame and suspension system. Interior & Comfort: 8.5/10 The twin bed configuration of the 25FB is an appealing option for those who prefer individual sleeping spaces, or for couples who want a bit more room to stretch out. The beds themselves are comfortable, with high-quality memory foam mattresses and ample storage underneath. The layout feels spacious for a 25-foot trailer, and the clever design ensures every inch of space is put to good use. The living area is open and airy, with plenty of natural light streaming in through the large windows. The kitchen is well-equipped with a two-burner cooktop, a microwave, a high-end refrigerator, and plenty of counter space for meal prep. There’s a substantial amount of storage in the kitchen and throughout the entire trailer, with deep drawers, overhead cabinets, and even hidden compartments. The bathroom is compact but functional, featuring a stand-up shower, a porcelain toilet, and a sink with counter space. The design is sleek and clean, although a little tight for taller users. Technology & Features: 9/10 The 2023 Globetrotter 25FB comes with a wide array of high-tech amenities, all designed to make life on the road easier and more enjoyable. Airstream has partnered with brands like *Sonos* for premium audio, and the trailer includes USB charging ports, LED lighting, and smart technology integration throughout. The Airstream's Smart Control System allows you to monitor and control the trailer's climate, lighting, and more via a mobile app, which is a fantastic touch for those who enjoy tech-savvy solutions while camping. Towing & Performance: 8/10 Weighing in at around 6000 lbs, the 2023 Airstream Globetrotter 25FB is easily towable by most mid-sized SUVs or trucks, though you’ll want a vehicle with a tow capacity of at least 6,000 lbs for added peace of mind. On the road, the Globetrotter performs admirably, offering a smooth, stable ride thanks to its torsion axle suspension and solid braking system. The aerodynamic design helps reduce wind drag and improves fuel efficiency when towing, which is especially important for those planning long road trips. While towing the Globetrotter is relatively easy, it’s still a large trailer, so novice towers may need to get used to its size when maneuvering in tight spaces. Pros: - Beautiful, timeless design with premium materials - Comfortable twin bed configuration, perfect for couples or friends - Excellent build quality, highly durable and insulated - Abundance of smart features and tech integration - Solar panels for off-grid capabilities - Smooth towing and good fuel efficiency - Spacious and well-appointed kitchen and bathroom Conclusion: The 2023 Airstream Globetrotter 25FB Twin Bed is an exceptional option for those seeking a blend of luxury, performance, and iconic design. It offers a level of comfort and style rarely seen in travel trailers, with a fantastic layout and a suite of modern features that make life on the road easier. While it comes with a hefty price tag, the quality, durability, and overall experience it offers justify the investment for those who want a premium RV. Whether you're planning a weekend getaway or a cross-country adventure, the Globetrotter is a reliable and stylish companion.

To be fully boondockable, I recommend updgrading to Lithium, getting in inverter, and an additional solar panel. The kitchen area is very well laid out, and surprisingly there are a ton of storage options. It's well suited for 1 person and a pet. 2 people can also share the space, but not recommended for long term living arrangements.

The quality of my 2022 Airstream classic has been exceptionally poor. Even worse has been Airstream’s refusal to under their warranty. We have had issues with leaks, water, pumps, cabinets, pulling away from the wall, molding, cheap plastic parts, control systems, touch screens, misaligned, entry door, electrical and lighting problems. We’ve had the camper back to the dealer many times and twice to Jackson Center at Airstream‘s home in Ohio for repairs. Airstream refuses to honor their warranty. I wish I had never bought the camper to start with. It has been a huge disappointment.

The floorplan lives so much larger than you’d expect. Flow, storage, lounge space and sleeping area. Airstream wins. Especially when no slide is involved. You really don’t miss anything. Well built, we have been pleased with the quality. Light and bright, the abundance of windows are fantastic. We really pay attention when booking campsites now because the windows take in exceptional views especially at the right sites. We opted for rain bed plan which is great! Extra floor space to get ready in, for the dog bed, and easier access to storage under the beds. Also nice to have separate beds if traveling with a friend or a kid etc.

I love my Airstream. We purchased in 2016 from the Seattle Airstream dealer and immediately travelled to Utah. It towed easily and was easy to handle. We decided immediately to make some changes internally and took it to Ultimate Airstream in Portland to re-do the kitchen and eating g area. We installed their "Grand Lounge" design and included a washing machine in the upgrade. In 2018, we purchased land to build a house and started living in the airstream full time for 18 months while it was being built. It was a pleasure to live in and at one stage, my wife broke her pelvis and so we even had to use a wheelchair in the Airstream to move her around. Very adaptable.
