We love this rv it pulls great and it’s just enough space for the 2 of us. It may be small but it has tons of storage and the space is layed out efficiently. We’ve spent a week in it and had no issues. The kitchen has plenty of storage for all the food and dishes you want. Plenty of clothing storage around the bed. The bed easily folds out into the Murphy bed, you could do it with one hand. The dinette also folds down into another bed for a couple extra people. The bathroom has tons of storage too. The outside griddle makes cooking even better when you’re in a campground.

The floorplan is the best possible floorplan for the the way we travel. The desk space and the island kitchen have become essentials for us. If you want these amenities in a travel trailer, this is your unit. But it does have down sides. Foremost is the anemic cargo carrying capacity. Forget the factory weights, it will be heavier even dry. you are looking at a 1000# plus tongue weight. And once you add the basics like cables and hoses and a weekend's worth of clothing and food you will be at the weight limit. Distributing that weight is also a challenge as the unit is back end heavy. You will likely need to tow with the tongue slightly down to balance the load, which will increase the tongue weight even more. It is a drop frame to increase storage volume, so depending on your hitch you will be getting close to the ground. We use a P3 and get 4-5 inches of ground clearance. So with the gross weight, tongue weight, rear weight, and then add sail area, plan on a 3/4 ton TV. The math from GD might make you think 1/2 ton, and the fan boys will all say "Like it isn't even there" or "No problems". But you need a 3/4 ton for this trailer. The usual quality issues abound. Gaps in sealant, trim falling off, bubbles in the roof membrane, incorrect PEX fittings, sawdust everywhere. We have needed three repairs and I did all of them myself. The process of returning to the dealer 2 hours away, dropping off for warrantee claim, picking it up again, returning when the parts are in, and final pickup means 8 hours on the road for every issue. Give me a Mobile Tech or ship me the part! But in the end, worth it for the floorplan!

We recently purchased a new 2024 GD Reflection. We were preparing for our first trip, and the #3 slide (bedroom) wouldn’t extend. Took it to the dealer and one of the motors is bad. Also, the entry door doesn’t latch without holding open the handle. We’ll have to cancel our trip. Contacted GD about reimbursing unrefunded deposit and they said no. We had a Forest River Rockwood for six years with no warranty issues, and minor repairs. We opted for the GD, because we were told they are quality. What a lie. So far this one is crap. DON’T buy a Grand Design. We should have stick with Forest River.

This is our first GD, and it will be our last GD. We bought it and didn’t do our homework. The a/c has been a problem since 2021 and GD doesn’t seem to care. These over priced, over rated, and poorly designed and workmanship are nothing but a piece of junk. This company is going down hill fast. Now the issues with the frames is a dangerous sad situation that’s GD is trying to shuff under the rug. SHAME ON YOU GRAND DESIGN!!!!

First only towed camper home after inspecting roof wrong sealant used and gaps. Plywood under roofing dislodged covering loose and rippled.Roof replaced bubbles all over and loose covering.Cut on flooring after installation. Storage above sink so narrow can hardly store anything.2x2s in storage underneath full of huge knots weakening integrity if copied in walls not good.I researched for 6 months before buying fair reviews mostly water leaks which I had one on outside shower connection. On a plus I really like layout. DON'T like the on demand water heater wastes to much water and if slide out is in can't walk through warranting two doors limiting use on road but tolerable.

Now have 2024 Reflection 297RSTS. Very easy to pull. Better construction than the Imagine except the latch to hold shower door very flimsy. Came loose during travels and glass doors shattered. AWNING MOUNTED TOO LOW. Sharp corners of slideout cutinto awning when being extended or retracted. Had to contact NC State attorney General office before GD would answer any emails. No resolution yet, Took away outside lighting replaced with speakers. It is so dark you can not see stairs at night.

If I could give zero"s I would. We were warned not to buy a trailer made during Covid due to inexperienced workers making the trailers. We spent extra money and bought a 2024 model. It didn't matter.
Travel Trailer is all of 4 months old. 1) Door latches do not work. 2) Refrigerator broke before first use and had to be replaced. 3) Trailer was sent from factory with solar panel wired incorrectly. ( No quality control) 4) Bathroon sliding door fell off the brackets and screws stripped due to only one door guide installed. 5) Heater/furnace did not work on a cold morning on the trailers second trip. (Again, zero quality control)
What will break on this POS next?
If you are looking at a Grand Design, run as fast as you can.
