Not enough room. Only had it for 6mo and things started coming apart. It was sold to us with dents in the refrigerator and the awning out of track although it was brand new. I would not recommend nor will I ever buy a forest river product again!................... Show less

We bought our destination trailer at Camping World in Roseville, Ca. It is July and very hot here. The AC in the kitchen/ living room doesn’t work. We called Camping World and the service person said that “these units only cool 20 degrees cooler than it is outside “. So if it’s 110 outside, the best they do is 90 degrees inside. Thats total BS because the bedroom ac unit is way cooler. Also, they told us if we want it looked at we have to “bring it in”. They should come out as this is a huge unit and it’s parked in the pines. That’s not customer service. We had to go buy a fan while we try to find a mobile RV person to help us. Show less

Stay away from Forest River Travel Trailers. Their customer service is awful. My brand new 2024 Forest River Cherokee Timberwolf 16ML, which is permanently parked, was delivered with the gray water (and black water) pipe broken and they won’t send someone out to fix it and they won’t pay the full bill to fix it. Here is my experience. 1. My brand new Forest River trailer was delivered with a broken dishwasher and broken gray water pipe which means the black water pipe is also broken because the gray water drains out the black water outlet; so, because the gray water pipe isn’t connected, there is a huge hole in the black water pipe. 2. The dealership gave me 3 numbers to call to get help because the trailer is under warranty because it is brand new, and I’m too far away from the dealership for them to fix it. I called each number several times but only 1 number answered and there were no voicemails to leave messages at the 2 that didn’t answer. The people that did answer the phone told me they couldn’t help and gave me a new number & email. (So this is contact #4 at this point.) 3. I emailed and called the new contact. The person who emailed me back told me they couldn’t help me (in all caps like a lunatic) and gave a different email (contact #5) which was supposed to be directly to the warranty people. 4. I sent 2 emails to the warranty email address & waited. & no one ever responded. 5. I looked on the Forest River website for a contact and it said call the dealership. 6. I called the dealership again. They gave me a 6th contact’s phone number and email. I sent an email (with pictures of the broken pipe) to explain the situation. Note: I also called but I dialed incorrectly and left a voicemail on a complete stranger’s phone. Whoops! But that nice stranger actual texted me the correct phone number 10 minutes later. I got better service from that stranger than anyone at Forest River. Sad. 7. Apparently, my email got forwarded around and after almost a week of waiting, a Forest River representative told me they can’t send a tech out and gave me a list of mechanics who “might” help. And the representative told me to review the warranty; so, I don’t violate some condition and can’t get reimbursed. 8. I reviewed the warranty & learned that the warranty won’t cover the full cost of the repair for a problem that existed when the brand new trailer was delivered to me. (Have I mentioned the trailer is new and has never been used? 😂) 9. I looked at the list of mechanics. The closest one is 60 miles away but most are 100+ miles away. No mechanic is going to travel 120 miles round trip to fix a pipe on a trailer. Recall: The trailer is permanently parked and the Forest River rep was told this repeatedly. 9. I reached back out to the Forest River rep and (and I was pretty irate at this point - so I wasn’t super nice - cuz I’m only human) explained I need a real solution that will actually fix the brand new Forest River trailer that was delivered to me broken. I explained no mechanic is going to travel 120 -200 miles (round trip) to fix the pipe on the brand new trailer. I also pointed out that it is ridiculous that Forest River will not pay for the entire repair cost. I asked for a real solution that will actually fix the brand new Forest River trailer that has never been used and can’t be used because it was delivered broken. Note: I’m not off the grid. I’m on the CA coast. 10. I got no response. None. 11. So I now have had a brand new Forest River trailer for almost 2 months that I cannot use and that has never been used because it was delivered to me broken & I am, of course, still paying for it. Do not buy from Forest River. They do not stand by their products or provide any customer service that will actually fix problems & their warranty is useless. You are throwing money away if you buy from Forest River. Show less

I liked the larger gas oven and 4 burner cook top. I also liked the colors. I've had several leaks which most have been taken care of by the dealer, Camping World of Asheville, until the shower was never fixed. It still leaks from underneath and the sliding glass door leaks profusely when the rain comes from that side. I called again to have them come out and fix what they hadn't fixed and they said it would cost $200 for the service call. I said it was never fixed. Come to find out this Camping World doesn't have a mobile repair van. So I'm at their mercy, until I contacted Forest River they informed me that, that Camping World doesn't have a mobile, that's why I have to pay. During the email they sent me what I needed to do for the warranty work and a list of the mobile repair places that they authorize and they will reimburse me whatever the cost. So I'm awaiting the phone call for the repair people to come out and do the repairs. My unit is a permanent unit therefore I can't tow it. Show less

We had multiple issues including a kinked water line, door's not latching, broken AC vent. Curtain rods hung too far out so hanger stuck out of the closets. On our second trip our refrigerator came loose and popped out at the bottom, staples seemed to be the only thing holding it in place. And that is not everything. Purchased in January, warranty ended after our first trip. Show less

This bunkhouse model is surprisingly livable for my wife, myself, and our dog. He has mad himself at home in the lower bunk. But the fit and finish of this unit leave a lot to be desired. Their audio system is supposed to be able to differentiate inside versus outside, but that does not work. The mattress quit after a week, and being a non-standard size, was difficult to replace (short-king 65”x72”). The drawers in the kitchen have pulled from their slides. Their Summit TV is not a smart TV, and is incompatible with some streaming applications if you happen to use an iPhone. You have to be certain to use a regulator with enough volume, or your showers with the tankless water heater will go cold often! And we’ve had intermittent alarm codes given from the water heater from shortly sherry seeing it up. Sooner of this may be due to it being new, but that seems odd. The deadbolt on the entry door is broken and needs replaced. And then there was manufacturing debris all over the unit. Metal shavings, saw dust, staples, and even the material from a hole saw. None of which were caught by the manufacturer or Camping World. Outside of these stresses, it has been a positive experience. I just don’t think I’ll go with Forest River going forward. Show less

I just purchased the rv in late fall . Haven’t even used it yet . But I highly recommend that you have someone rebuild the queen bed frame before using. I’m not sure it’ would support my little grandkids let alone two adults. Also find a way to tie down the exterior refrigerator as mine was not . Just bouncing around. I also had the lense of one of my rear running lights missing but forest river did send me another which I installed. I’ll update my review once spring comes and I actually get to use it . Show less

We bought our 271rl brand new back in October. When looked at the RV we loved the floor plan and visually the RV was nice. We have had it 3 months now and already things are starting to break, I am noticing things missing like 5 screws in the restroom skylight, the fire place has already quit working, the hidden pantry door drag’s tremendously making it hard to open, the cold water on the island sink stopped working, the catch/latch on the “hamper” by the bed broke, and the kitchen sink wasn’t sealed correctly and now the counter top is bubbling up. There are also areas where the nail holes were filled with putty but not sanded, and I’m sure the list will get longer as we continue to use it. Very disappointed in this RV. Now we are stuck with it and a loan payment. I wouldn’t recommend this trailer to anyone. Show less

We just purchased our Ibex a few months ago, so don't have a lot of miles on it yet, but had to write a review because we just rave to everyone about this suspension: the 4 wheel independent trailing arm suspension makes an incredible difference in towing. The slightly narrower width comes in mighty handy out there on the roads and in RV parks, and with the slideout, you don't miss the 8" inside. We love the floorplan, true queen Murphy walk around bed is 100%. Added a 3" gel mattress topper to increase comfort, fits in the fold up no problem. Spent the night in Fallon, NV, temp dropped to 19. We ran the furnace all night to keep It 60 inside. Little noisy, but up to the task and didn't use as much propane as we feared. We were comfortable, tank heaters worked, all was well! All in all, we give our little Ibex an A+ ! Show less

We purchased the Forest River Gray Wolf thinking it would meet our needs. We’ve been having trouble with the furnace from the start. During the walk thru the thermostat was read an Error code. We thought it was taken care of. We have not been able to use it because furnace is still not working. Now we find out that the components for the furnace are not compatible. We’re now aware that Forest River was aware of the issue. Now we’re jumping thru hoops to get the right parts. Mind you our camper is on a site over an hour away. No one seems to be interested in fixing the issue. Show less
