2023 Prime Time reviews

When we bought this camper in August, we did not open the awning because we were in the dealership. When we went camping, we found that the awning hangs on the slide out. The lights across the side of the camper are blocked by the awning laying on the slide out. Tracer gave us no customer support and said that was a factory design. I call that a factory design flaw! Tracer/Forest River said it was made that way and we have no recourse. Now we are stuck with an awning that will probably wear out sooner than later, because of the weight of water on it will hang on the corners of the slide out. Also, it drives horrible! It sways terribly even with an anti sway hitch and water in the tank as a ballast! The finishes were not complete. When we took it back for warranty work, the slide out had already started breaking, the refrigerator had to be repaired and the shower was leaking and, oh, did I mention that the awning hangs on the slide out? This is our fourth camper. It is the absolute worst camper we have ever seen or owned! I do not recommend anyone buy this camper!!! Show less

I bought a 2023 lacrosse 3375 back in November I have had a couple of problems with and getting anyone to help me from the manufacturer is a joke they never answer there phones or call you back so if you are going to purchase a new camper run away from them and pick something else Show less

Incredible experience in the 3102. Great size for our family and a ton of great standard features are included. We love the solar package for the extra charge on our battery. We also love that our awnings connected to the slide box and not the camper Show less

Purchased a 2022 Primetime Sanibel 3802WB from General RV at the Hersey PA show Sept 2021. Paid to have the 5th wheel hitch installed in our brand new 2021 RAM 2500. We scheduled our appointment on November 13th 2021 to have the Harrisburg PA location install our 5th wheel hitch. Our appointment was at 9am. Matt (the Service tech Manger)took our truck at 930am. After waiting all day for them to finish installing the hitch, at 530 pm Matt came and said that we are all set! Good to go! Thank god we did not hook up our 5th wheel 14k pounds. Matt installed the wrong hitch, installed the rails in the wrong direction and only used one (1) nut! We videod this and sent it to Robin Kind who sold us our unit at the show he works in the Brownstown MI location. We could have seriously hurt someone or ourselves! We asked to be refunded for the hitch installation $2500 and still have not been refunded. We have had the correct rails and hitch installed. And because of his incompetence we now have multiple holes in the bed and in the frame of our brand new 2021 Ram. This is due to General RV not training anyone in Harrisburg PA location! **STILL WAITING FOR OUR REFUNDS! DONT BUY FROM GENERAL RV! NOTHING BUT HEADACHES, DISAPPOINTMENT AND THEY LIE! ** Show less
