Overall, very good experience after all understanding all the ins and outs of the Motorhome. There was a notable positive step change in quality and finish in the 2022 Hurricane 34J, with improvements in the styling of the coach, newer headlight design and arrangement and especially with the new F53 chassis with the 7.3L Godzilla engine. This is night an day from the old coaches in both handling and power. No more redlining to get into the powerband of the engine, which makes for a more leisurely drive. The interior is great with good finishes all around, nice materials used to withstand wear and the layout is a family dream. The overhead bunk along with mid coach bunk is amazing and makes the unit feel even bigger than a 36 ft unit. The full wall slide really opens up the interior and makes for a great living space. Use of slide locks is recommended as the slide is large and may move, but most slides should use them to avoid any movement. The new Thor quality is a testament to their commitment to improve reliability and should not be overlooked. I think Thor coaches are some of the best deals on the market today and are on their way to outshining their peers in both looks and reliability. Show less

Don't buy it! We have had it over a year and were able to use it 3 days. The rest of the time it has been in the shop. Engine light came on at 100 miles, problem with the catalytic converter, windshield leaks, both driver and passenger windows leak, passenger window won't open due to wrong seal being installed, fridge mounted backwards so you cannot adjust the shelving inside, multiple bolts and screws missing, slide out came off the tracks the first time we extended it......and the list goes on. Thor is incredibly difficult to work with. They will make excuses, give misinformation and generally do absolutely anything and everything to blame you so as to make malfunctions and failures your fault so they don't have to cover warranty claims. As soon as you challenge their answers and excuses with factual information, they will start saying you're rude and will say they are going to hang up on you, and they will do just that. Even when you've said or done nothing rude. They will refuse to cover things on a BRAND NEW motorhome, citing strange reasons that make no sense. Be prepared for a lot of out of pocket expenses for repairs on your unit during your very first outing. They will tell you that because you didn't follow their internal processes, the repairs won't be covered. However, you have absolutely NO WAY of knowing what those processes are until you get so much misinformation from them that they twist everything around to be your fault, even though you called their help line (technical support) multiple times and did EXACTLY what they told you to do. Don't trust what appears to be a wonderful 24X7 support line. They will purport to be there to support you, but then provide absolutely NO help, only to mislead, confuse you and twist everything to make you to blame. Their managers are even worse. Don't even try to escalate your call, you'll just get someone who knows nothing about your motorhome and give so much false, terrible misinformation. Worst of all, they make you feel like a bad guy. There is NO such thing as customer service at this company. This is customer disservice at its finest. Show less

This drives really rough like a train going over broken tracks. There was a noise banging in our slide so we took it in. They couldn’t find it so we took it in again and I rode around with them and they heard it. They took the slide out and said what it was but it didn’t make sense. It was ok for the first two days of our next trip and the other side started banging. Then it stopped and the old banging came back. There were many other little things wrong like we have to tap our side window shut because it rides so rough the lock slips and the window opens going down the road and then the blinds fall. People told me rvs ride rough but I never thought it would be this bad. I have gotten airborne sitting on the bed just going over a rough road. I love the floor plan especially the north south bed and the color but I’m so disappointed in Thot Show less

For the money one pays for these units you would think the quality would be excellent. We bought this less than two years ago and have had it in for repairs five times. Drop down bunk Pins do not align, generator would not start, shades fell off, TV fell off the wall, propane gauges would not work, cabinet door warped and needed replaced, Grey and black tanks even though empty read 33% full at all times. I would never but a Thor product again and if I could get rid of this one and not lose my $$ on it i would. Show less

We dislike the shower. It's hard to get in and out of. Also we found lots of holes where rats can get in and out. That is poor work quality and laziness. My opinion is that you should rat/animal access your RV. We had several leaks and the generator never worked from the get go. Show less

Like everyone else I bought a Thor Windsport and it has spent more time in the shop I got it in January 2022 and black tank had to be replaced the lever jacks went out sink faucet had to be replaced generator didn’t work and now having problems with the electrical system on the chassis it has had to be towed three times and as I write this it is sitting and waiting to be towed to the ford dealer again as the gateway control module went out again. What can I do as Thor told me it was not there problem. So far it has cost me over $7000.00 dollars also I bought a good Sam’s extended warranty and that was a thousand dollars donated as they wouldn’t honor any part of it .What can you do I wrote a letter to the Texas attorney general’s office and they said they couldn’t help . We've lived 2 years full time on the road, 28,000 miles. The screen door broke 2 times, replaced by Thor, inverter went after 2 years not only did Thor replace it and fix the diode that was the problem they flew a tech from Texas to Tucson to troubleshoot, order parts and had the dealership fix it. Thor like other American made RVs get a bad wrap but, our experience has been nothing but great! Show less

Only had Rv for 2 years dont buy one they are poorly made and they don't last would never buy a Thor motorhome ever again stay away if you know what is good for you. Our RV has been in the shop 5 times now since we bought it. The bolts on rear axle broken after 1900 miles never hitting a bump. This Rv Thor Motorhome thrown together poorly. Cheaply made. Show less
