I'm finding little things that tell me that I bought a $45,000 turd. The owner before me bought it new and lived in it—very little towing. I've only towed in once; the main issue concerning me is a water leak the previous owner covered up. I would have had to disassemble the RV to find it! After tearing into the RV to find the leak, I discovered that Rockwood uses flexible nylon piping and tries to connect it to PEX, even though this is against building codes, and there is no way to connect the two. They force it! This creates a bad connection that will most certainly fail at some point, especially if you tow it. So, now I'm trying to decide whether to pass this problem on to another unsuspecting fool (like me) or try to re-pipe my entire fifth wheel. The thing is, I'm not really a fool. I went over this thing with a fine-tooth comb, but I obviously couldn't tear it apart when I was inspecting it! Steer clear of Rockwood! They cut corners that you will pay for.

My wife and I recently purchased this trailer last spring, we are the 3rd owner in just under 4yrs. We are quickly realizing why. . Let’s start with the good, first appearance of the trailer is very modern inside. With a decent layout. That’s all I have for the good. Now for the bad, we quickly noticed moving our stuff from our 1955 27’ 5th wheel trailer into this new one had no where near the storage space as the 5th wheel did. We soon realized that the master bedroom in the new trailer was smaller than the 5th wheel trailer, the queen size bed barely fits. We have to climb up over the bed to get to the side of the bed where the closet are. Which are also very small compared to the 5th wheel. . Once we were all moved in, time for a good cleaning of the trailer, we started realizing very quickly how poorly the quality and craftsmanship of this trailer really was. From everything to walls, flooring, cabinets, dinette, I mean everything about this trailer is poorly made and made with very poor quality material. It doesn’t hold the cold, Ac unit is constantly running and very noisy. Same for the furnace. The slide out bring it in and out can be a challenge, I have to be outside watching it go in and out very very slowly stepping it, while making sure the seals don’t get pulled the wrong way and damaged. The fresh water tank is under the trailer held up by two thin metal straps. The plumbing of the trailer in also under the trailer held up by tie wraps. How can these dealers charge so much for these trailers they are cheap poor quality craftsmen ship. It’s disgusting how this can be allowed . I regret ever selling my 1995 Terry 5th wheel, but due to the age most parks in Ontario will not allow older trailers as new seasonal campers. The park that we are in and really love it and the location is perfect for us, but being a new seasonal camper we had to purchase a newer trailer. Honestly if I could have kept the 5th wheel over this New travel trailer. Be able to stay in our park of choice it definitely would be the 5th wheel.

We bought our travel trailer new in 2020 and recently had a major repair that Evo Forest River has advised is outside of warranty. I bought all the extended warranties and I am being advised that the repairs aren’t covered. If Forest River stands behind the craftsmanship of their product they would review my claim and support us in the cost of $12k roof repair. The lack of customer satisfaction and quality of product makes me regret purchasing from them.

I bought an arctic wolf remembering the day when arctic wolf was the best brand out there well Forest River owns article now and it's the worst trailer out there one month in sewer tank came apart six month in I figured out that a bunch of the accessories didn't work right but dealership I bought it from did their best to get everything fixed three years later the ceiling the slide is gone the roof is leaking and the plumbing is leaking and there's water damage on both end of the trailer I called Forest River cuz it the roof has 12-year warranty they said if you did not maintain the roof that 12-year warranty doesn't mean a thing the trailer is only 3 years old you think they'd stand behind their product I have Forest River one star and I really suggest that everyone stay as far away from Forest River Products

This is our second CK Fifth wheel. Only had our 2020 for a year before we ordered a bigger version. First with what we like. 1. Floorplan spacious, lots of storage, roomy everywhere it counts. 2. Options. We were able to get carpet in the living room, and bedroom. Everyone brags about no carpet. But our dogs can actually stand up, and jump up and down from the bed etc. We had to put carpet samples in the last one. The dogs just slip on the plastic floors. 3. Our dealer in who they no longer allow to be one because he wouldnt stock many units when the RV market crashed. They dont want smart dealers apparently. Even if customers love them. Now for the problems. 1. The underbelly. Sections of the underbelly have fallen off twice on the road. Dragging wires and insulation on the hwy. We are talking 10 - 12 feet gone! Last time I had to buy a plastic tarp, cut it to size and Duck tape the thing for hours, after stuffing the stuff back in. Terrible design underneath. The dealer tried brackets secured the first time. A strong crosswind ripped it all out. 2. Westlake tires- AKA China bombs Replace them Nuff said. Blowout at 10,000 miles Blew a chunk out of the side of the rig. 3. Auto level works 2/3 of the time. Slide doesnt come in when unlevel. Have to manually level it. 4.Screws come loose from all over. But I blame some States roads. Colorado? Would we buy another one? Yes But we would duck tape the entire underbelly. Replace the tires. Tighten every screw down and bring extra. 3.

The 2021 Wolf Pup 16FQ is a very basic camper. It’s good for one or two people but too small for three due to space limitations. Major Quality Issues!!! Radio, back up camera, USB, and window had to be replaced. Too many shortcuts and wasted space in cupboards and below bed with walls put in on angles that don’t have to be. TV mount not centered on the wall. Holes behind toilet panel and other areas should have been filled during construction. No thermostat for Air Conditioner, it’s on or off and very loud. Furnace thermostat not accurate and not digital. Can’t adjust shelves in fridge without removing doors. BIG problem is a major opening in floor under the shower that is about 12” x 14” and should have been fixed by Forest River before putting in the shower. Only way to fix it is removing the shower. Should never have been left in this condition! Difficult working with Forest River for warranty work. Was unable to get specs for walls and wiring from Forest River. Would give quality and warranty/service a -0- if I could! If you buy one, go over it very carefully before you do.

We had the popup camper for 4 years. We have camped in below freezing weather and never got cold. The heated mattresses keep you warm and the furnace keep the living area cozy. We have camped in the heat and the AC will cool the area off well. I love that you can take this camper anywhere, it is light to tow, easy to see around, and has plenty of storage. As a shorter female, I can pull and set up this camper by myself in less than 20 minutes. The solar panel is great at recharging the battery to full charge when boondocking, plus this unit has two batteries. We have never ran the battery dead.

Custom ordered unit in 2020, picked up in 2021. From the get-go we had issues. Items added to order were not added when it arrived the dealer had to add them on site, the fit and finish was horrible, door and cabinets did not open and or close correctly, main entrance door didn't lock (the holes didn't line up). after 3 months the slide out started making noises like it was going to fall out of the camper, the front lower facia started coming off on the bottom, the propane tanks were leaking. there were Mutiple water line leaks. took it into the dealer didn't have it for almost 4 months, had to reseal multiple windows. 3 years in we opened it up after winter. did our inspection and there were multiple cracks in the roof seals. resealed them took to dealer reached out to Forest River. Should not have to completely reseal a roof on a 3 year old unit. Forest River kindly told me pound salt that the roof is my issue. FFW sitting in camper notice an odd looking spot on master bedroom wall, poke it finger goes through. open wall up entire master bedroom ceiling and walls are covered in back mold. unit had been leaking for a long time. Took back to dealer opened case with Forest River, again forest river states that I didn't do inspections on it in the time I owned it and it's my fault. Inspections we performed 3 times a year or else I wouldn't have found the need to start resealing windows. Unit is not a giant lawn ornament. I DO NOT RECCOMEND PURCHASING ON!
