I loved this camper when we bought it, seemed like the perfect first camper. But turned terrible when the roof started leaking, its ruined the cabinetry above the bed in the front. The bath tub leaks down and has ruined the floors. The windows in the bedroom in the front leak, have also ruined the floor. And to make everything more upsetting when I called the manufacture they told me there is nothing they can do about it. 2 years with this camper and now we can't even use it until we get it all fixed. The refrigerator in the outdoor kitchen stopped working. We already had the main fuse box blow and be replaced. Very upsetting, will for sure being reading reviews on our next camper purchase, once I figure out how to get out of this nightmare. Show less

My son bought this camper leaks from each corner, no water pressure , only had it a short time bought brand new . Inside wall shot floor damaged , would not recommend this to anyone not even my worst enemy!!!!!!!!!! Show less

We used the furnace for the first time this week-temps dropping into middle 40's. The furnace has a plastic cover on front. Set thermostat to 70 degrees. furnace came on -heated up the trailer. BUT the heat of the furnace on the PLASTIC COVER gave off a burning smell that gave my wife a head ache. Also SETTING OFF SMOKE ALARM. This happened two mornings in a row. I remover the PLASTIC cover from the furnace. Ran furnace another time-NO HEAD ACHE-NO SMOKE ALARM. Who's brain dead idea was it to put a PLASTIC cover on the front of a furnace ? Temp was only 70 degrees but hot enough to give off a smell to set off smoke alarm...Cover is also warped. We are not impressed with the Element travel trailer-very cheaply made-lousley warrenty. The layout is good and livability is fine for a small family. Its tough to get air flow into the small bunks though., it can get stuffy back there. The appliances have been good do far. The mattress for the main bed is not comfortable. Show less

Bought the Gulstream Amer-lite 268bh to take kids across the country, first rain storm leaked from bedroom windows and vents in bathroom and over top bunk. Water pump leaked, sink seal leaked, shower seals leaked all causing water damage. Jack rusted completely and could not use, even manually, unless I removed the motor. Leaked in front storage compartment. Electric outlets stopped working on passenger side, thermostat stopped working. The list goes on. To call this a dumpster fire of a trailer is doing a disservice to a dumpster fire. Unfortunately seems all trailers are thrown together by children as fast as they can do it so they can sell more. We are enjoying the camper. But, it is thrown together with Band-Aids and bailing wire. Very shoddy construction! Paneling is coming loose from walls especially in the bathroom and kitchen area. The AC unit didn't work because of loose wiring. The faucets kept clogging with construction debris. Was told there is a solar panel installed, but the battery keeps draining. The TV antenna and cable outlet is either loose or disconnected. All of this is covered by dealer warranty but it would take up to 3 months to get any of this fixed so I did it myself. Show less

Dont do it! Gulfstream is the bottom of the barrell in RVs. Nothing but problems from day one. From leaking water lines, bad refrigerator, door hinges falling off, now no hot water. I spend my camping trips trying to diagnose and repair all the issues that are a result of just extremely poor quality and workmanship. Camping world is no help, they take months to do a half assed repair job and come to find out, the problems still exist. Dont make the same mistake I made. Buy anything but a Gulfstream. Show less

We like the floor plan overall. However, with the frig and microwave nearly on the floor it is difficult to use without standing on your head. The driver's seat does not go back far enough for us fuller figured drivers. There is only room for one dump hose underneath the unit yet two dump valve set ups (one black water and two gray waters). There is no storage for additional needs like garden hose, electric cords (main and extension type). The air conditioner noise is similar to a freight train in your face. The sliding door is very heavy with NO assist. The window in the sliding door is very difficult to get to to open. The running board is almost big enough to step in and out of the coach on. The RAM van drives great and gets good gas milage, no issues. The electronic control panel in front differs from the rear panel and stopped working after a new $1500.00 new one was installed at 5800 miles. It has been impossible to contact Firefly the mfg about the problem they DO NOT answer the phone or emails. You must leave messages and they are supposed to call you back. Hower, we are now waiting for six weeks for a contact person to call the dealership. Before the control panels stopped functioning the awning, the generator, water pump and fluid level gauges worked fine......no more Show less

I bought this rv from rv leaders in adamsburg pa. Several things were wrong with it. Rv leaders from adamsburg pa delivered it to my home. They were supposed to have inspected it and have an inspection sticker on it. The shower was not sealed and found several things wrong with it, they also lost my baby moon hubcap when they delivered it. It went back to them.. After a year of having my rv and several calls to them ( their famous line is I will call you back but never do) I finally got my rv back.the ceiling was gouged from them putting the shower back. They told me that it was dirty and would have it cleaned before they returned it. It was filthy! They never checked anything out. My rv pipes leak. I have no toilet or running water because it leaks badly. I called them up sent pictures to them and of course they're famous line I'll get back to you but never did. I sent pictures of everything that they did wrong to it and still never heard back from them. Save your money and go elsewhere this was a brand new RV I paid cash they don't care!!!! Show less
