I have a 2020 Redwood 3981FK I have had nothing but trouble from the beginning the dealership told me it had two heat pumps and was wired for a third Mikal so I told him I wanted one for full-time living once I got it home and hook it up my first night I set the heat to electric I woke up it was 38° outside and about 40 inside and I was absolutely froze to death at first I thought I had set the N command wrong we’re going to the program I could find no mistakes I turned to get gas and started getting some heat I got heat in the living room and heat in the kitchen area which was blowing out from under the garbage can in the cabinet but no heat in the bedroom or the bathroom OK and I am a licensed electrician and I also hold at HVAC mechanical license I did service work for 25 years owned my own business for 12 so after the sun came out and I got dressed I went to the roof to check to see what was going on I only had one heat pump which was above the bedroom but it didn’t even have a heat strip in it so it’s that temperature I was getting no heat the other two were just air conditioners so I had to takeoff to Walmart a.m. start buying electric heaters for every room and in the meantime I kept trying to figure out why no heat was coming out in the bedroom or the bathroom I took a camera run it down in the vents cood not see any blockages so I went to the basement area pulled a side panel inside there was two pieces of aluminum dryer deck coming up that was a post to supply there bathroom and bedroom and it has been poorly stuck up and the duck tape giveaway and it had fell down but at the same time they were still no air came from them I fixed them back professionally the way they should go slow I went on the other end for the gas furnace was pulled the cover to see if there was a loose duct they were all hooked up two of them Went up under kitchen cabinet where I felt the heat from the garbage can very bad design the other four went into a box they had built that was supposed to be duct To feed the camper very bad design it will not push enough air to reach the bedroom and bathroom and is no power to the ceiling fan no power to the outside receptacles no power to receptacle by sink or underneath or the dishwasher was supposed to go which I had installed before moving in I moved out of a 3200 square-foot house with the highest utility bill $300 into this piece of junk 320 ft.² with electric and gas $600 first month it was purchased at explore USA Dallas Texas I called them numerous times all I could get was a run around and get switched to Service department no one could answer the questions and would say they would call back never could get a call back I would not recommend them at all and had intentions to purchase two more I did not get a owners manual I contacted the manufacturer about they told me they would mail me one out never received it contacted them about the problems got no assistance unless I start disassembling the camper I still have not found out where the electrical problem is there is power leaving all of the circuit breakers but no power to the receptacles I mentioned and because we are using it for full-time living I had to purchase two new heat pumps and install them on the top with new controls and purchase heat strips for all three of them I finally got heat and after utility bills down to about 350 This camper it’s not for full-time living there is no way it has arctic package as I was promised before purchasing it which was a mistake taking their word for it and buying it over the Internet never saw it in person until the day I picked it up only has a 24 inch closet for clothing and like I said do not expect any technical support from the manufacture or explore USA I have a 2015 heartland that is twice the camper the 2020 redwood is and even the underbelly the thin black board They put underneath has already buckled and coming apart they didn’t even break it on the beams and duct taped it and it has separated it hanging down I’ve got to redo it before winter time because you can look underneath it and see all the waterlines The cooktop would work but the oven would not heat The pilot would lite but when you turn the temperature up it would go out after checking and checking I moved the slide back in 3 inches then the oven Woodburn with the slide all the way out it was pinching the gas line I have pictures I wish that I could post them but if I was buying a new one I would get a heartland unless you can afford a DRV or lux

Cougar 22mls or Crossroads 253rb. ad to have a king bed, good bathroom/shower and the outdoor kitchen was the deciding edge over the Cougar. Very happy with the quality of our unit. No issues of any kind with 5 trips under our belt. By far the best couples unit we have seen anywhere. Upgrades we did. Dometic 320 potty, upgraded door window with shade, Fantastic fan and cover to replace the 4" fart fan, electronic door lock set

Just returned from a two week trip. Screen door will not latch. Trim fell off the couch. Front panel fell off the furnace. Refrigerator door coming loose. Ceiling above the bunk coming down. Rear window opens going down the road, latch doesn’t work. Roof vent leaks. Have to put towels on the floor when raining. Then new we hooked up water and had six leaks in the plumbing. Just a total piece of junk. Will be traded in ASAP.

This was our first RV. We loved it because of the couple friendly layout. The living area and kitchen were spacious and comfortable. Huge windows on both sides to allow for great views and cross breeze to keep cool inside. The bathroom was large enough to move around in with a good size shower. The bed room was tight with a king size bed. We thought about putting a queen mattress in it. There was plenty of closet space with the 2 separat hanging closests and the full sized closet in the bedroom. Tons of under the bed storage. We loved the outdoor kitchen. Small, but had the basics (fridge and grill). There was so much storage in this unit inside and in the pass through. Indoor fridge and pantry were unavailble when the slide was closed, which most of the time was not an issue, but did present a problem evey now and then (usually because I forgot something). Has a huge electric awnining that covered pretty mush the entire side, great solid steps, loved the gray interior and white exterior. My husband loved the power stabilizers and tongue jack. Electric fireplace worked well to keep the inside warm enough during cool nights (40 degrees outside). Our rig was unfortunately totaled in an accident. But I will say that not a single drawer opend and not a single dish broke even though the RV was hit in the side! So kudos the those. Had one issue with the cable that brings the slide in and out breaking on a trip, but we were able to push the slide back in and still enjoy our trip. Had a new cable installed when we got back home and now more issues. RV was the tight space around the bed, but could be made better with a queen mattress instead of the king it came with. We absolutely loved this RV. I am so sad that it was destroyed in an accident.

The electrical system is FUBAR. The battery disconnect is wired incorrectly. The GFIC in the bathroom was wired line-in load-out backwards. The queen bed didn't have center supports and collapsed on the first night. I will make this unit livable but the hours required are not for the faint of heart. I will give the Designer credit for a livable unit with 1 and a half baths. Just be prepared to glue, seal, support, reinforce, re-wire and work on your "new" trailer. As a side note: When I went to pick up the unit the LF wheel bearing was exposed and dry. We caught that and the Dealer re-packed the bearing. Be sure to inspect everything before you tow. Good luck, Mike.

I have had my Redwood 3901 WB for about 2 years. As of this posting I have had zero issues with the coach itself. Any problems I have experienced are with components, parts, appliances, windows, and window treatments made by other manufacturers and installed in my Redwood. Roller shades coming apart, electric fireplace not heating (gray stone), dual pane windows fogging, Thomas pane recliner not heating and LCI hydraulic jack solenoid malfunction all parts or components not manufactured by Crossroads. My dealer addressed all issues quickly and satisfactorily.

We put a down payment on a 2021 Zinger in Feb. 2020 just before Covid hit. When we signed our paperwork in March we noticed the paperwork said it was a 2020. When we brought it up to the dealer they said they had an extra on the lot and didn't want us to wait for the 2021 to come in, they didn't even ask, just assumed! Well now we know why it was "extra"! We made 2 monthly payments on it before the dealer would allow us to pick it up. No walk through or demo on how to put the slide outs out, tow it, use the heat/ac, etc. hook it up and go! Now we have both doors leaking and you can see daylight between the trim and the doors. The doors also come unlocked as the trailer settles, so we lock it and when we come back a few weeks later the doors are open! We also somehow have water coming in from under the back bunks which is a slide out. We are seasonal so we weren't planning on moving it again but the warranty is only covered "if you bring the trailer to an authorized dealer that does repairs". They don't stand behind their products nor do they care about the families they sell too. I bought a $30,000 piece of crap but I guess the salesman received his commission and the dealer got a sale so who cares about the families that are stuck paying for a lemon. If I had to do it all over, I would keep walking right past the CrossRoads dealer and find a company that stands behind their product and the families they sell too. DO NOT BUY ZINGER!! I am currently looking into the Lemon Law for my trailer that I've had in my possession for 10 months!
