2020 NeXus RV reviews

We bought our unit and have had a lot of trouble which with what we paid we feel we should not. first the quality is horrible, the drawers fall apart the bedroom slide leaks so bad if it’s going to rain we have to pull the slide in the shower head was put together with the water tube too short which made the rain shower nor work properly, very little to no water coming out the front door won’t lock most of the time our floor in the living area in front of yard couch rotted out mind you this rig has not been out much at all and is stored in a concrete floor garage completely enclosed the windows are fogging up the refrigerator shelves and bins have all had to be replaced because they cracked going down the road the cover on the water heater flies off going down the road the wood wrap on the bed falls off etc etc etc and the crossroads company told us to file under our insurance we got no help from the manufacturer nor the dealer which was explorer USA in Denton texas which is now called blue compass something like that same owner different name, hum makes me wonder if maybe they had too many law sutras with the other name. We are so disappointed in both crossroads redwood and the dealer my advise do not pay as much as we di (over100 thousand) we have friends who have a forest river surveyor which is built 10 times better than our redwood it’s not prettier but better quality My advise to crossroads if your going to build crap then price it there and put warnings out “your rig may fall apart going down the road” Show less

We purchased this RV 2022 at a dealership in Memphis TN which went bankrupt and they lost the information on our purchase. They couldn't help us on warranty. My husband had more knowledge on trailers than I did. This Trailer very nice at first until the nightmare that this trailer has had it's not worth getting and Steven called it the covid trailer, The manufacturer did a cheap and crappy job putting it together. Having problems with the springs and trucks having cracks and rust. Needing to weld them back together on a very dangerous highway, no help. Now having to replace the truck, sucks. To old and sick to fix it. The adder needs replaced for the bottom part of it where the screws are cracked the metal and lost the bottom part of it. Sewage issues and had to replace the parts, that's nasty. Leaking of air conditioning vents. Replacing the TV because of the TV mount coming unscrewed during transport. So basically, there's a lot to fix and lots of money to spend on this trailer for having it for only 2 years. Can't wait to get rid of it. Show less

We have had 2 Outdoors RV trailers. They are built sturdy because most people who buy them like to boondock. We haven't had any issues with either trailer. We like the 78 gallon fresh water tank, solar panels, storage, 10 ply 15-16" tires and 6-8"support beams. We'll never buy another brand. Show less

My wife and I love our Wraith Super C Diesel. It's beautiful and we get lots of compliments on it. We've owned it just over 3 years and I would rate build quality above average. The International MV607 chassis is rugged and well made. The Cummins 6.7L engine and the Allison 5th Gen transmission always has us in the right gear for the terrain. With almost 30,000 miles, we have enjoyed trouble free operation on the road. We have fixed a few items, but after 25 years of RVing, we would definitely purchase again from Nexus. Show less

We have owned 2 Outdoors RVs. The first one was the 21RBS and now the 22FQS. Both are very strong and well built. We usually spend 3-4 months boondocking in our trailers. They can handle rough roads because they’re built tough with beefier support beams , stronger suspension and bigger tires. I would recommend them to anyone who cares about quality. Show less

This toy hauler has it all. It keeps the wife happy with higher end living without having a fifth wheel. It also allows for a 4 seat side x side to fit in the separate garage. Would not have a different RV it’s perfect for families who love comfort and adventure. Show less

We bought this trailer in 2020 didn’t get to use it much because of Covid took it out about 3 times next year we had several wildfires so only took it out 1 time now we are in 2023 2024 used it for about 3 weeks for a job I had out of town. We have had nothing but trouble with this trailer very poorly built inside trim falling off shower leaks was not sealed properly, the outside corner rubber molding that covers the screws blew off when going down the road all 4 corners and around the door, which is causing water on the inside and mold. Very disappointed in this trailer. Show less

We got our RV during the height of Covid, but that just showed us how good the company was at supporting their customers. Everything that was wrong was fixed as soon as we realized we had a problem. We live in our unit and we are as happy as we were the day we took it off the lot. It has more comforts and more storage than our last two homes. We are so happy that we upgraded to the Beacon 42RDB. I am throwing our hat in the ring for serious water leak issues. There were no indications of water leaking as it occurred under the flooring, but our sub floor under the toilet and shower are rotted. This must have been occurring over time when we bought the trailer and wasn't evident until now when I almost fell through the floor this spring when starting to de-winterize. The water damage extended all the way from the bathroom at the back of the trailer to beyond the dinette near the door. Insurance won't cover anything, so now we have a giant piece of junk in our driveway that we are still paying for. It will cost us thousands of dollars to fix the issues and reinstall everything. Unique Class B RV that will fit 4 people with a Bunkbed system. Has all the features needed, from wet bath, Microwave, fridge, cook top, etc. Solar panels and back up batteries. Also a Gas generator that works out from the same gas tank as the unit., very convenient. Show less
